How does you game fit the theme?
This game fits the theme by simulating the illusian that life is real, when as it turns out on multiple occasions throughout the game, it is not.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No. I made most of the music and some of the graphics, but I used a whole lot of asset, that I do have the right to use!

I reached the first "Aha" moment where it became 3D, and I really like that moment of realization. Then I got stuck, and couldn't move for a while. It think what happened was that I wasn't completely familiar with the WASD action button being "E". Perhaps the first time the button press didn't register or I missed the target, so I assumed "E" did nothing. Anyway, I figured it out. I also really love the attention to detail with the textbox at the start - I tried to answer "Maybe" and it started being sassy with me - nice touch! Great work on the use of theme and innovation.
Thanks a lot! Because of the limited time I didn't have time to incorporate introduction of controls properly, so they are stated on the page and in the CONTROLS.txt file :) I am aware it could mess it up if not knowing. I appreaciate your feedback
Very well done. I did not see this coming whatsoever. So original and spoke to me in so many ways. Don't stop creating. Need more short story games like this that drive home such a powerful message in a meaningful way. Great job!
I appreaciate that very much. Thank you!
This was made incredibly well. A really interesting concept, executed flawlessly. Not sure if the 'find the key' task at the end was completely necessary as it got a little tedious looking in all of the draws but otherwise I have no complaints. Very well done.
Psst. Wanna hear a secret? The key was an improvisation because I needed you to look around so you didn't just walk out of the first door you saw, which would end the game :) Thank you though!!
Haha, I had assumed. I think it would have made sense to be a similar task as before like "Don't forget to wash your hands" but I get that you probably just went with what first came to mind. Still a really good game though.
It was really nice and interesting how different mediums were used to portray the same tasks, and the repetitiveness of each task just hammered in the whole philosophy of it all. Plus the exit button being labeled "return to simulation" gave me a nice chuckle as well.
You understood the assignment 100%! Thank you! I'm glad the message was received :)
wow, i liked this a lot! the perspective changes were really interesting every time they were used. i loved that the whole look of the game changed so drastically in every "layer"! great sound design as well. a nice little game for sure
Thank you very much!
