Never read the instructions above, but managed to beat the game. Don't remember exact jump count, but time was 28 min and jumps between 600 and 700. It felt like a fairly finished game for a game jam (except a bug where I couldn't jump in one direction and was forced to do it in the other to release built up energy). The graphics and sound worked well together. I did find it very frustrating at first, but more fun after getting into it. It felt a bit too punishing. But great with gradually introduced mechanics. Good work!

Argh, so rage inducing.
I really loved the idea of the game! The art is very cute! Good job!
I rated your game, maybe you could rate mine as well? Cheers :)
Oh dear lord, so frustrating. But at the same time very addictive. Great job! The key to a game like this is feeling like it's the player's own fault if they fail, which comes down to how well designed the controls are, and you did really well with that. There's occasionally this one bug where your meters don't reset which causes a moment of panic because I know there will be an uncontrollable jump, but overall, really well done!
Loved this game. I see its heavily inspired by "Getting over it" with some own unique mechanics, and you actually managed to bring the feeling of it. It took much longer to complete than I expected, but I finished the game in 15 minutes and collected 4/5 coins. I was listening to a podcast and this game was just so perfect for me! Despite its length I still wish it was longer. Thanks for the experience :)
If you have time, I would love to hear your thoughts on my game as well. Good luck!
Cool game! little bit hard but that's keeping the player trying so great job
Really fun to play, the controls are very good! It is not really my type of game, but I still enjoyed playing (until I fell all the way down to the start for the fourth time haha)
Good job on this game!
Fun but frustrating. I loved the art style and the novel mechanics. Easy to learn but hard to master similar to Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy. Appreciated the inclusion of the timer and the percent complete in the top left. One tiny change I would make is to include the power bars in the start screen. For new players it would probably make it more clear how the jumping and movement mechanics work. Other than that great job!
Nice game rated it, pls check out my game also if you don't mind - https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-7/rate/1418152
Rated, can't even proceed on 2nd platform XD, nice game!
can you help rate mine too?, it would be really a huge help, Thanks!

I really liked the overall feel of this game. It's a great little jumper and seems really well polished. it took me a few tries to really understand how to control the direction of the character, but once I did it was really fun.
I little vector arrow coming from the character to show the direction might be fun, that way you could plan your jumps a bit better
I finished your game in 40:33:896 with 428 jumps and 3/5 collected coins.
The game is really enjoyable, I like the graphics and the audio both music(fit the game 100%) and SFX.
I like that there are bars to measure the power of horizontal movement and jump.
It looks like you inspired by Jump King and it is really awesome that you make your own version.
There are two bugs that I have encountered, the first one is sometimes the character won't react to my input in specific locations like at the very end of the edge (happened to me maybe 3 times).
The second one is there was some jittering when the player is on moving platform.
But both those bugs did not effect the game that much.
Congrats, Great Job!
Thank you for the feedback! And nice! not many were able to beat it so good work on that! I'm glad you liked the style we went with (like JumpKing), and the audio! Yeah those two bugs seem to be common unfortunately we weren't able to fix in our time. We are happy you enjoyed the game otherwise and thank you for the kind words! =D
While I found I am reaally not good at this kinda game, I really liked the concept of charging both your jump power and angle!
Really nice art and it's really cool how you can adjust jump height and length. But I feel like it takes a little long to reach full jump height and length. Also, the game may be a little too difficult for the majority of people trying to get through the games quickly.
The movement was very interesting, it reminded me of Getting Over It. It was a little bit hard, but I really liked it overall!
I like the mechanics! And the idea of having a progress bar was a great addition. I almost gave up but seeing it reach 100% was motivation for me to continue!
The stats at the end are also a good idea.
I think it's a bit too hard for a jam game, though. Still, I had fun. Good job!
Really enjoyed this one although it took me longer to complete then I would like to admit :). The stats at the end were a really nice touch
