very solid game! Loved the correction mechanic, i’ve never seen anything like it done in a game before. The mood, graphics, and audio really fit the theme well. There are some things which could use improving, mostly minor bugs, spelling errors, and the use of some non-English words. Overall, still an excellent submission!

Wow, thanks for such a detailed comment! One idea we had was allowing the user to drag and drop to change the order of the triangles in order to make the “important” ones bigger or put connected ones next to each-other. That would have certainly helped with the zooming issue but unfortunately we ran out of time. We also played around with different fractal shapes, and even wrote all the necessary code to support it but once again time was an issue. Thanks again for your feedback, it really means a lot!

Hi! I know that can be annoying, but it was an intentional design decision. The player isnt really expected to be looking at all the puzzles at once, but instead carefully plan out the movements by analysing each one. Thanks for playing!

You did an incredible job creating a perfect atmosphere for this theme. All the puzzles were just the right difficulty where they arent obvious at first but solvable. Voice acting, models, literally everything was stellar.

Its such a simple concept but executed so well. I know how difficult it must have been to make the laser pick up gun but it just feels so smooth to use. the atmosphere is super eerie in the best way possible. Great job!

I really enjoyed the puzzles! I had the "aha" moment for all of them, especially the last one! I dont think i ever would have got it without the ticking sound effect hahah.

hi! Puzzle design is something we put a lot of thought into, and as with most puzzle games (here especially) the best way is to start from the solution and then work backwards. So for a lot of levels we started with a set of inputs that we want the player to do and then design the level to force that sequence. Each step of the recursion further restricts the possibilities.

I’m really glad you enjoyed the game and completed it!

Wow, the ambiance in this is amazing. The puzzles were also really good, it took me a while to figure it all out but its all really well connected. Great job!

That was really cool! I really enjoyed the fact that i had to control both the UFO and the pinball hands at once, it added a lot of complexity to the game. the design also fits the theme super well

Fun puzzle game! my favorite was the ice room, it was super fun jumping on the blocks haha

Nah, just math majors xd. But great job on getting to 6-3, dont get too beat up about giving up, levels 6 and 7 were meant to be extra hard

Really chill puzzle game with a great art direction and vibe! the levels were fun too with a nice difficulty scale, the last one where they start rotating was especially rewarding to complete. Great job!

Thats a great idea! For sure we could try experimenting with that. We also had ideas about different fractal shapes (like repeating squares or pentagons) which would unlock even more puzzle possibilities.

Great style, I had a fun time learning how the enemies move and planning out my best route! One hit kill was maybe a bit too brutal though haha. But balancing asside, great submission

Thanks! For a while we only had the first 5 levels but we managed to finish everything with some time to spare so we also designed 6 and 7, and they ended up being my personal favorite levels. More levels are certainly a possibility, if the positive feedback like this continues we might expand this into a full game!

Holy **** that jumpscare almost killed me ahahah. Nice taxi game with a horror twist. Controls are yanky but it fits the theme and vibe

Fun puzzle game! reminds me of a game i did for the Brackey's game jam years ago, but of course executed a lot better haha. The levels were very well designed and the only thing is that i found a bug which lets you walk on lava if you quickly tap the R button.

You executed the grappling mechanic really well! Once the eye got in, the game really got crazy haha. couldn't get past the toothache part as the eye kept pulling me down :(

Ahh, I went back and found it almost right away. On my first playthrough the layout was different and im pretty sure there was no exit door on the chair... Anyways, the second level was also cool, thanks for the game!

Yes to both, unfortunately couldnt find the final step it seems :(

I had a great time finding the codes! There is a very nice atmosphere in the game, but I would have preferred if the codes were using real symbols. I spent half the time trying to figure out which symbol is which haha.

Wow that got tough near the end haha. Beautiful artstyle, each carriage was prettier than the last. I loved the little stories that the passengers shared throughout. I kept going for so long at the end hoping for a secret ending or something haha but i guess there is nothing :(

Wow that monster scared the crap out of me at first xd. I spent so much time trying out all different things but i couldn't find the "right" door unfortunately :( Still i love the art direction and overall vibe of the game!

Very interesting combination of 2 puzzle mechanics, I have to say the puzzles get quite intricate later on! the only suggestion i have is that sometimes the white walls wouldn't rotate the gravity, and the 3d controlls were a bit tricky to get a hang of. But overall good puzzle design! We also made a trippy puzzle game, check it out if you find the time :)

Really nice and gloomy atmosphere, the rituals took me a while to figure out but the effects were very cool.

It was very fun to play around with the planets, though I have to say some of the models look apsolutely horrifying hahah. Took me way too long to figure out i could rotate the planet with WASD, but thats absolutely my fault xd

yeah haha, and thats with dying once on the last jump :/ rly fun game, might revisit it at some point to try to get a sub 1:30 time

Played this one a few days ago but I'm leaving a review now, I really enjoyed it and the controls were super smooth and unique. The only thing is that very often i would die just because i can't visually find the goal object haha.

I love it, Very goofy and a fun time. The controls are super weird but i guess it fits the theme haha. Took me a few runs to really get them but in the end I managed to get a 1:59 time which I'm really happy with :)

Really smooth controls, and a fun tactical game. The only thing is I didn't really understand when and how a node is captured, like did it have health or something? maybe some more visual feedback for that. other than that great game!

Hah, super fun to play and unfortunate to hear about the overscoping, would have loved to actually have a use for the arrows lol. Btw the horse often gets stuck when grappling but other than that very fun speedrunning game. Maybe add a leaderboard next time, would be fun to compare times with other people :)

Hey I managed to play it :) As for the game itself, the visuals are great and I love the vibe of the sandstorm, but the controls are a bit slow and finnicky. Thanks for fixing it :)

Hey, great game. The rotation mechanic is super fun, and I wish there were more levels. The last one was super trippy when the player gets teleported out of the main level lol. Other than the short length I really have no other feedback, good job!

Loved the slot machine mechanic! Though I feel like on some runs the first level was impossible... Overall very fun but took me a lot of tries to get far. Oh well, thats gambling for you

(1 edit)

Truly incredible shader work! I love the idea of modifying the environment by moving objects. Would have loved if there were some more stages :)

Thanks. if you do please reply back on this comment as i am interested in trying the game out :)

The controls were very nice for this style of game! There's room for improvement though, like adding more visual feedback for actions and making the hitboxes clearer, but I'm sure these issues will be fixed in future game jams.

Hi just a heads up, the game doesn't work on a widescreen monitor

Ah, that makes sense, thanks for the reply. the record was 29.62 btw, pretty happy with that

This might just be one of my favorite game jam games ever. I spent almost 30 mins just perfecting my time on the first level before moving on haha. Carotid Cavern was definitely my favorite, you should have seen my face when the superboost came on. The controls are unique but super rewarding once you master them. If I had to give some feedback, I would say that there should be more audio and visual cues for the hearbeat since its such an important element of the game. perhaps sync it better with the music. Anyways, thanks for amazing game.
