Mac just really hates itch.io apps. File works perfectly well on my computer but any other mac has difficulties opening it due to secutity

yep I beat it hehe. second to last lvl was probably hardest

Ahahah that took me more than a day for that so I had to cut down on so many features that I originally planned

Great job for a first game! The mechanics were fun and levels well designed. The only part that felt a bit tedious was going back to my ghost after respawning, but idk how you would fix that

Honestly an almost perfect game jam game. Its balanced super well and the levels felt so rewarding to beat. The only thing is that given that you already have a timer you could have displayed the time it took me to beat the level and maybe put a leaderboard to make it speedrun friendly. But thats just an extra :)

Thanks! Everyone is reccomending a speed up button, I really should have added it ahahah

hahahah well at first it confused me i thought i was missing some mechanic like that what is happening isn't actually real

Maybe the most fun I've had with a game this game jam. Teleportation boomerang was definitely the most fun. The only question I have is why do you write everything with "seems"? ahahah. I was super confused at first

Fun idea with great vibrant execution. The only problem I had is that unlocked the blue guy way before getting any blue bars so I couldn't do anything with him for a while

No aliens give that little, the amount of money displayed is how much cash the alien has left. That means you did a good job since you made them spend all their money! Speed up button is definitely a missed opportunity.

The controls took some getting used to but the combos were super satisfying to do. I also like the strategy element of managing the blocks which you collect

Very nicely polished for a game jam game! I love the game feel and the base loop was super fun

Great game design, the only thing I would say is that it felt weird that i can die during the tutorial. Once I got a hang of the controls (which are great) it was really fun though!

I love the artstyle and the environments. The game over screen was good too haha. I had some trouble playing the WebGL build in safari but it worked on Chrome

thats a fun idea! I had soo many other ideas like managing employees and keeping them out of the way of customers, traffic, better upgrades, and so on, so there is definitely potential to expand. Thanks for playing!

I placed a ramp on the first turn after the big acceleration such that it disappears exactly when the player comes. All of the people in front are thrown off the track and you are like 3rd or 4th. Then i just put cones and wind to the remaining few and thats it haha

thanks for such a detailed comment and for the nice words! To adress your feedback:

1. Yeah, scrolling varies so much with devices and I only had my MacBook to test on, so on windows devices it could be widely different

2. This was actually intentional to entice you to “save up” before the next level up, but given that multiple people have complained i should have probably done it differently

3. Upgrading is something that was originally a much larger aspect of the game design. I was going to make the buildings have a specific capacity for the max number of customers inside of them and upgrading would increase this capacity. In the end i didn’t manage to implement that due to time constraints and just made the upgrades give you some xp and boost all future sales in that building

That was super fun though maybe there were a few too many collectible types haha. Artstyle is great though!

I love the different "Horses" ahahah. It was super useful that you could speed up the time. The only thing i would improve is adding more ability to interact with the race.

The art is super cute! The hammer joke made me laugh out loud xd

I love that you have to maximise precision to minimise the number of bullets on screen! gets supper hectic later on ahahah. Thanks for this, had a lot of fun

The drifting is super well executed and the levels are well designed. I may have spent wayyyy too long trying to beat my times ahahah.

Great fun little game :) The only thing i would suggest is working a bit on the controls (especially reducing deceleration time since i was sliding around a lot)

Very well executed and fun game. puzzles were well designed. Maybe not the most original idea ahahahah but great for a game jam game.

Hey I also made a game with Mobius strips haha. Really fun but maybe a bit too easy. I love how you used the möbius strip mechanic!

Wow the puzzles were super fun! I wish there were more levels. You really used the mechanic to the fullest.

That was a super creative interpretation of the theme! I always loved playing with dominoes and this was like going back to my childhood haha. The game feel is done exceptionally well for such a short time period, good job!

Fun upgrades haha. I like the sound effects.

No problem! Could you also check out my game? Thanks a lot :)

hm, that shouldn’t be the case. Do you mean before you can afford to buy it or before its even unlocked? If the second on which level have you noticed this

haha, i hope you ended up enjoying it!

Really nice music and atmosphere. Wish there was more gameplay

No problem! can you try out my game? :)

Hah, that was super unique. it has some interesting mechanics which i have never seen in a puzzle game before, which is rare for game jams. The puzzles are also really well made. The only criticism I have is that at first it is very unclear what actions get undoed and what don't

Simple but charming! has a real arcade feel to it.

It took me a while to figure out the mechanics of how the looping works and where you come out, but overall very fun! would love to see some more variety in the weapons and enemies

As a Bezier curve enjoyer, this was super fun haha. Level 2 was a bit out of place though, took me wayyy too long. Later on the difficulty scale is pretty good though. Introducing the areas where you must not cross was a great idea and added so much complexity

I love the notebook, it made everything so much easier. Very nice level design.I got stuck for a while after getting the second code but i figured it out eventually :)

oh man i was so disappointed that there wasnt more haha. Really well done in such a short time! Also fits the theme super well

This was super fun and well polished. The only thing is that the levels get wayyy to complicated down the line so i just end up randomly rotating until something works.
