In what way does your game fit the theme?
It explores the concept of going back in time to when loved ones where Alive
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I scripted everything with a visual scripting tool, and made 99.9 % of the assets,
I did use a paid water shader and paid visual scripting pluginlto aid my process
All the Music was made by the second member of the team, as an original soundtrack for the game, and If I do say so he has done a wonderful job really pulling the whole atmosphere together.

Really good game it really touched me it didnt used the theme really well there were some bugs but for real no compleins one of the best game i playe throught the game jam well done and good luck!!!!!!
Great concept, I enjoyed the story. The graphics looked good and the story was captivating enough to keep my playing. The only thing I want to say is that it felt a lot like a walking simulator and I think that with some game play improvements (enemies, platforming, etc) this could be a really cool game. Thank you for making it
Thanks For your feed back, I am glad you like it, I am going to add more to a final build which I am working on, it wont be platforming or enemies though, more one or two puzzles, I will take Walking simulator as a compliment! I made a breakdown video, where I explained that the inspiration was actually from walking simulator games, like Dear Esther... you can find a link to my break down on the main page if you are interested, I mostly talk about how I made the environment tho.
Great work! The graphics are stunning! I like how you have to explore to find out what to do! Although, the music seems a bit hard to listen to. I'm not sure if it's a bug, but it sounded like there were multiple soundtracks playing at the same time. If it's just one soundtrack, it sounded like there were a lot of chords clashing against each other which can sound weird.
The game and story seem really good, but unfortunately my laptop isn't able to run the game very smoothly :(
What I did notice though is that the camera movement felt hard to control. Maybe lowering the sensitivity? The opening animation/cut scene was really great though!
I would love to play the game, but again, my laptop can't handle it. I can already tell that a lot of work was put into this JUST by looking at the graphics, so really nice job!
Sorry about the music bug, it has been patched for a version after the game jam is over allready, Im also going to optimize the grapics settings so it can run on lower end pcs... In regards to the controls were you using a mouse or a trackpad to control the camera?
Any way glad you liked what you could.
Cheers
Amazing graphics, audio, animations and story. RIP friend T_T
love how u took the theme to an emotional level, havent seen that before, this game have heart and u can feel it, the astonishing music add a lot, and this game would have felt way different without these fancy graphics, the animations could get a little bit cleaner, i got kinda stuck at the start bc i went to the rocks before the fence so i thought "oh ok so there is nothing there" but i guess that is just me. amazing game, good job!!
I loved the game, awesome art style and wonderful story. Hope you expand on it a bit
Thank you for the experience. It was a touching approach to the theme Rewind. The graphics did a great job at creating the atmosphere. I liked the use of different camera angles. The music also adds to the atmosphere. One thing I found about the music is that after I walked towards the gate, I went back to the house area and two tracks were playing simultaneously. That put a little halt in the experience until the new track came on when I moved towards the stone path. Also, I saw in the credits that the music is an original soundtrack. I always appreciate that. Overall, I really enjoyed it. Good job!
Wow I really really liked the story! I would love to see more of this!
Absolutely loved it, the visuals, the story, the personal touch, the music. It reminds me of "The first tree". Wish there were some sound effects other than the music and also a black box behind the text and indicator of who's talking since the two boys had pretty similiar colored text
very nice mate, its a good exploration game with a nice application of the theme on the story. at some point while looking for the latch to open the gate, the friend disappeared on me lol, i dont know if it was intended.
GL!
Wow, this submission felt really personal and explored some very existential concepts. It's also the only one I've seen so far that's about NOT rewinding something, so very creative take on the theme there... Anyway, kudos to your team! This is a nice piece of artwork.
The level was bigger than I was expecting considering its quality, the camera work was solid and the pacing was good for the emotion conveyed. Sometimes I felt like the dialogue was a little rough and broke my immersion, but in another way it made the story more human. One minor game detail: I spotted the gate remote before I found the gate, but nothing happened, so I had to backtrack to the remote later. Anyway, on whole I was impressed by this experience! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your kind word much appreciated, Yeah the whole thing from a scripting perspective is a bit rough, I am allready Ironing out the kinks for an update after the Jam is over, the initial plan was to record the dialogue, but that was one of the first things thrown into the "ive over scoped this bin" 3 years of tinkering with Blender and unity this is the first game I have completed so Im more than happy despite its flaws.
This is really good! The audio, visuals and game design especially, whole game feels surreal in the best way. Only thing is I wish the friend followed the character more closely so it'd feel more like they're walking together. Also I noticed a little glitch where he would kinda levitate near the sign and his leg would act weird.
Other than that I love it, makes me feel inspired actually.
wow Thanks for the review, and thanks for letting me know about the glitch, I did actually have a version were they ran closer together and I was going to change it back before the dead line but forgot... I plan to make some updates to the game after the Jam so be sure to check them out!
Appreciate your review.
"Made me feel inspired" is the best review I could have asked for
