In what way does your game fit the theme?
Literally rewind time
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, plus cc0 assets
The audio really set the mood perfectly! The storytelling was at its strongest for me when I got to see what people did (the tent, for example). Rewinding destroyed houses got same-y after awhile. While being able to go in whatever order you wanted was great, I didn't end with the gate, which was somewhat anticlimactic.
Ran perfectly for me.
Found all the story pieces (and the silly sticker!) made it to the end and really enjoyed the atmosphere of this thing, very fitting music and hazy aesthetic overall.
Very impressive amount of content for a jam game, the rewinding animations were cool to see.
Great job!
Very interesting submission. I agree with more assets and polish in the world you have a lot to work with. Great entry for the time alloted.
Could you please play and rate my game as well?
Cool idea, although sometimes when I pressed E the text didn't come up or disappeared too quickly. Nice job :D
The controls were lagging for me. But overall you game was really nice. The graphics were great . Good luck.
Checkout my game at https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/724912 . Hope you like it.
The ambience is really nice! I felt lost since the beggining, but in a good way. Loved the palette.
Great work!
Found all 25 items, the key and the special sticker! One of the few 3D games in hear. I like your idea of story as gameplay. Felt a little bit laggy, But I think it has to do with the "walking animation" of the clock while moving. I mean, when I was focusing on a house next to me while walking all seemed fine, but I soon as I jsut walked around it felt like I was speeding up and slowing down all the time. Maybe something to look into.
Of course, if we don't help each other out and give feedback what else do we do? Love this whole community here so far!
And for the walking mothing, maybe next time try a less subtle movement or even more horizontal ones, like swinging your arms left to right a little bit. And if you get freezes in unity. Try exploring the built in unity analytics tool. Maybe you use too much of a resource or something?
Game ran decent on Firefox! I like the time mechanic to restore the environment. This mechanic could be cool to add some challenging platforming puzzle. Nice game!
Did I beat it? I got all the things I thought and into the castle. I like the atmosphere. It's a good start to a walking simulator. Keep at it.
I really like the atmosphere you set up in this game! I think if you continued to polish and develop this game you can have a really good mystery game. Great job on this game!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere created by the mix of the art style, the music and the story (even though it would have been cool to see some more interesting lightning of the whole island), but I found the ending very anticlimatic. Also, for some reason the final messages disappeared as soon as I got them.
You can consider using this as a base to make an exploration based horror game, great job!
The game seems really interesting, but unfortunately it lags really badly for me in the browser :(
The graphics and audio are nice though!
Really cool game! I liked the way you used the theme to tell a story and the colours you used really brought out a dreary state when playing. Great job!
