This is an ambitious game design. There is a lot of potential for deep storytelling as you continue to expand on this. It reminds me of games from the mid-90s. Nice work! Please also rate my game, thank you!
Wow. You have a lot going on here. I guess you had a lot of prior games if you were using your own older assets. Don't play many games like this, but it was enjoyable and the aesthetics were great.
Could you please play and rate my game?

This comes from someone not very familiar with the sci-fi genre. I really enjoyed the game! In the beginning I was very lost I won't lie, but after some loops I started to get familiar with the layout of the ship. On my first loop I actually didn't have time to read the info so I lost a lot of time trying to figure out what the game was about. There's also a few places where the collider of the player gets stuck on walls etc. I also couldn't find the keycard quickly because it blended so well with the background. All in all it was a very fun experience! The game is very immersive and I loved it, well done! :)
There's a lot of content here for 7 days, well done!
I liked the artstyle and the general layout of the ship, It was easy to navigate with just enough routes to get to where you want to go. The sound effects were good, but I would have liked a bit more variation in the music.
The story was interesting and being able to explore different options on different loops made for an engaging gameplay experience.
My main issue was with the combat. It felt a bit slow and clunky, and you'd sometimes get back to back encounters which felt unfair. I appricate that the medbay actually heals you though! I'd also suggest upping the number of droids that move, to put the focus more on sneaking past than brute force, that might just be my penchant for stealth mechanics though.
At first wasn't sure if i was gonna enjoy this but ayye this was actually a cool game ! Good job !
I like the intro as well :D star wars feeling also the artwork is pretty decent. Fun game and nice game especially in 1 week :)
very nice game
i like the art and the way the everything goes on.
sometimes i found myself moving over the obstacle in kitchen and other places and i think finding the captain or engineer etc need more information like go to captain's office or go to crew room no .-- etc.
i hope you play my game too. it is puzzle game
There was clearly put a lot of effort into the game. The ship has a great atmosphere with a lot of stuff happening around the player ;)
I love the graphics and environment, and there is a lot of content! I also liked the Star Wars text crawl.
I love the aesthetics and how detailed the characters are. Also design of the ship and having people sitting and walking around has made a pretty dynamic environment. That's amazing for 7 days!
I just have some suggestions:
-The game feels a bit slow, I'm sure it was intended to some extent but I think having a run button (maybe with limited stamina) would be great.
-The objectives are sometimes not very clear, maybe a bit more clear directions or at least a marker on the map to see where you are or where you have to go would help a lot.
-it was nice to have a limited turn-based combat but to me it was a bit hard to stay alive, especially since most of the time enemies would run up to me quickly and I had no way to avoid them.
Great work!
The scope of the game is surely astounding for the time span that we had, but sometimes I wish I had a bit clearer instructions of were to go or where to locate what I was searching for (or maybe a way to move a bit faster, like running). I was also positively impressed by the sound design of the game, very well done!
Very impressive for a 7 day jam! I dig it.
Feel free to check out my short and sweet puzzle game with record/rewind mechanics: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/723990
I enjoyed the multiple time lines and dialogue included. I wish it expanded more upon you reversing back in time in the story element. It also seemed a bit random upon what the attacking drones did as that was a bit difficult. Maybe add the ability to somehow dodge them. Other than that, a good premise for a week!
Wow there seems to be a ton of content here! Great work I really loved the art style and the branching decisions you could make. I had a little too much fun forcing people out of their chairs lol.
Great work for only 1 week of jam.
Good job.
My game is a casual game if you wanna rate is https://misterm.itch.io/mixtape-match , Thanks
Hey thanks for the kind words.
We'll be sure to check your game out.
Nice, very impressive for a 7 day game! Had loads of fun and want to see more of it.
One thing: I found a bug when trying to retreat to the quarters: the dialogue popup just kept coming up and I could only move one step before it popped up again. This was when I got to the helm and chose to stay there and after defeating the droid.
Hey thanks for the feedback.
The bug you mention we noticed as well and have stopped disabling the players movement whilst events are on screen (except during combat which is being overhauled) and it should address that issue. The helm has a few options at the start but I don't like that you HAVE to continue to the next event and can't go look around or skip things which you have already done. This will all be addressed in a post-jam update and i'd love it if you were to check it out after after the rating period is over and we've updated/polished the game.
A very unique looking game with a large scale of characters and places to go which is very impressive for a game made in 1 week. Altho the music and tutorial could be better. Music is just too ambient i guess, not much going on. And tutorial cuz i get lost pretty often (maybe cuz of my stupid brain)
Thanks for the kind words! The music wasn't the best I agree, we don't have someone that does music on the team anymore so we were stuck with choosing from our library of music of having silence, I'd love to hear what sort of music you think would fit as i'm a bit tone deaf when it comes to music.
As for the tutorial we'll be adding a tutorial in after the rating period is over, most likely that will be the first decision the player makes, whether to play through the tutorial or start the story. (only on the first loop of course). We'll also be adding a more intuitive map/navigation system as the current map (Press M) lacks a "You are here" which I think would make navigation a lot easier.
Thank you for the feedback, it's greatly appreciated and we'll be sure to check out your game.
Really cool looking game! Unfortunately one of the droids pushed me into the wall and i got stuck :(
But i am not sure how to heal up. After a couple of droids battles you have barely no hp, and another droid encounter is instant death.
I think that people running from the droids would give your game a little bit of life! :D
I think you did a great job!
Hey thanks for the feedback, the story introduces you to healing a little late, but you can go to the med bay anytime to fully heal. We'll be sure to add a tutorial to the start of the first loop when we're allowed.
People running from the droids is something we'll be implementing with a post-jam update as well as a fix for the droids pushing you around/into walls.
Nice game better than mine, can you check my game also if you want.
Thanks for the feedback, we'll take a look at yours and leave you some feedback as well.
