How does the game fit the theme?
[**SPOILERS**]
The theme "Nothing can go wrong" serves as a warning to the player that TAL-OS might not be telling the truth.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The sound effects were taken from Pixabay but I modified them to fit the 8-bit theme.
6502 code dummy text was taken from 6502.org.
The movement and input system code were taken from my previous game.

This was super cool! Love the 1-bit aesthetic and overall vibe. Could def get into the lore for this.
Well done!
Really nice game, congrats! I really loved the art style, you were able to add so much detail and character with just two colors and a few pixels. Amazing! I also really liked the sounds, especially the cryopod ones, it fits really well with the theme and you can still understand what its supposed to be. You're really talented! Great job.
Nice art, nice transition effect between rooms, and great little touches with the dialog boxes and the computer. I agree with the comment from COZI, if there was just a little more gameplay elements besides just clicking the corrupted code it would really elevate the game. Nice job on this overall!
This is so visually striking, I knew I was in for something nice on the eyes from the moment the artistic unity splash screen appeared. And it was compelling narratively too, I knew something was up, and it was sweet to find out it was a lonely AI just wanting some companion. Despite all of the juice, amazing SFXs, compelling narrative, I wished there was a little more in terms of gameplay. If you injected something a little more gamified, like the "programming" in Pony Island for example, I would have gushed over this project. Perhaps you can continue with this one a little bit post jam.
Either way, an amazing experience, and insane for just a single developer in a week. This might be my favorite project of the 70 I've played thus far in terms of aesthetics. Great stuff!
Main thing we can play in this game is to spot and fix error code. In my opinion that is not satisfy enough. But other parts in this game are very good. Story telling is super interesting. You deal with text base with good idea. Code fixing thing is well-balance between non-programmer players and programmer one. Nice work.
Nice little game! The story is obviously the biggest factor here, and I really enjoyed it! Honestly I just wish more happened with the terminals, as they're really the only "gameplay". Like, some sort of puzzle evolution as you go to more terminals. Overall though, good job, you should be proud of yourself!
This one's a gem! Simple but fun, visuals are well put together and create a nice (and quite eerie) atmosphere. Story plays a huge role and it's intriguing , loved it! I would've used some songs troughout the game, but it felt good to play :)
Big fan of the game. I really like the ending, though a better way to scroll would be nice.
Beautiful page design! In general, everything is done very stylishly. I liked looking for bugs in the code! The game is very polished
This is so so cool. I like the story and the visual of the game. Great work!
sweet little narrative game. After playing I think the decisions you made about the dialogue box being large and commenting on each code fix work well I think! Poor lonely robot brain. Does he dream of electric sheep?
Can't believe you made this alone in 1 week! Very fun and polished, and the aesthetic is amazingg!!
It was a bit hard for me to understand at first that the mouse is a part of the game. I didn't know what to do until i read the instructions you have in the game's page. So maybe an indicator for that at the start of the game itself would be great.
loved the relationship between the doctor and the machine, i loved the awkward moments where the machine was trying to have conversation haha. A solid game congrats<3
You absolutely nailed your 8-bit style. I loved the storytelling emphasis.
I personally would have liked to have a little bit more real estate reserved for narrative text without it flashing over gameplay elements.
Good one but I don't understand why getting through doors was a hard thing for me.
