Sorry if I didn't get around to reviewing your games guys. Turns out a cyclone has now knocked out our power so I won't be able to do any more reviews 🥲.

As my phone slowly runs out of battery I wanna say thanks for all of the kind words from such an amazing community with amazing games. This will definitely the first of many game jams for me.

Love ya all ♥️♥️♥️

thank you so incredibly much ♥️. I'm really glad to hear that. Wasn't sure if I'd get away with a 15/8 time signature, but I'm glad it worked hahaha. And so nice hearing that you've struggled to put the game down and think it's worthy of a full release.

Plan is to go ahead and clean it up for mobile and steam release soon 🤙. Just unfortunately got a cyclone that's knocked out power so it might be a bit before I can start on that :3.

If you've got any feature or changes you'd like to see in the full release, I'm all ears.

Ta ♥️♥️♥️

omg one of the best things a Dev can hear is a the story of a player loosing track of time. That's honestly way to nice ♥️♥️♥️.

Thank you very much giving the game a good play and for the kind words. Really means a lot coming from a Dev of your calabar :3

Omg thank you so much for playing for so long, I really appreciate the kind words too ♥️.

On the off chance you want some guidance to keep playing when there's so many other games to check out, best early game strat is to sacrifice little slimes of a type, while keeping big ones alive.

Yeah sorry for overturning the difficulty, especially for a game jam.

Thanks a million ♥️♥️♥️

Awesome, guess I better give you a follow then! Keen to see what comes of this project ^_^

Thank you very much for giving our game a play with the amount of reviews coming in for your amazing piece of art <3. Appreciate the kind words!

This game is so dumb, and I'm all for it XD.

This game gives a good challenge, and puts a smile on your face to match the Sun's with its goober energy. Well done for making something so captivating for just a 1 man team. I love all of the weird and whacky chaotic effects.

Art, music and gameplay are all fantastic, with a wicked design!
My only criticism is the lack of attention this game has, only 16 reviews :p

Nice work dev :3

What a beautifuly bonkers game lol

This game gave me a chuckle and made me click like a mad man. Really cool stuff with a fun upgrade system and silly dialogue and premise. Everything has come together to turn Conway's game of life into an engaging left mouse button spammer. Great art and music too!

This is awesome! Great job crew. Really fun game with great art and super unique gameplay. I love how the theme made y'all shake up the genre! Thanks for crafting this experience.

Omg please polish this more :O

Dying and becoming a ghost that can solve puzzles via possession to help buff you for the wave combat system is such a unique idea. I love this mechanic so much, and it was such a pleasant surprise when it happened.

I did find the combat a little clunky and had one of the puzzles bug up on me tho.

Y'all planning on continuing with this?

Really cool game guys, I ended up having the bot get stuck a few times thanks to some bugs, which made me put the game down. However, with a bit of patching and polish this would be fantastic! You all should implement some of the feedback you've gotten and release that ^_^. Really like the little music idea too, and the art is pretty cool :3

Wow this is a cool looking game :O, and well done getting the loop running. You kicked ass as a single dev working on this. I had few issues, but still managed to have a lot of fun with this, so please keep working on this. I think more enemy variety (they all look unique but don't do much differently), stopping the mech from covering the crosshairs so you can see where you're shooting, and giving the primary weapon some love would be amazing. Perhaps a simple upgrade system that forces the player to explore would be nice.

Also nice job with the sfx and music, you really made something dope ^_^

While you can smash keys to get throug, god damn this is a winning horror game format. Fun coming across the thing at the end and watching ya mate get pulled away. Legit could give this some polish, mix up the gameplay, increase the stakes during regular gameplay, and possibly give the player a tiny bit more agency and bang, you've got Markiplierplaying this.  Winning formula, hope you two keep going with your creepy crave crawler.

Great job you two, really loved the art on this one.

It was a lot of fun to create contraptions to make the ball go in. I think it's a little op being able to push the ball by dragging the objects around though. I think it might be better that you create your structure, then press go and have a ball bounce down, so you can't interact mid gameplay. Love to also have a different colour or aesthetic for pieces that can be moved/placed vs the static ones. Fun little challenge might be given the player different pieces for different levels, and perhaps the ball has to touch all of the pieces before going in the bucket for some extra challenge or something :p.  Either way, amazing stuff and it's a fun and puncy little game with a cute aesthetic.  Great stuff or 1 person in a week!

This is so visually striking, I knew I was in for something nice on the eyes from the moment the artistic unity splash screen appeared. And it was compelling narratively too, I knew something was up, and it was sweet to find out it was a lonely AI just wanting some companion. Despite all of the juice, amazing SFXs, compelling narrative, I wished there was a little more in terms of gameplay. If you injected something a little more gamified, like the "programming" in Pony Island for example, I would have gushed over this project.  Perhaps you can continue with this one a little bit post jam.

Either way, an amazing experience, and insane for just a single developer in a week. This might be my favorite project of the 70 I've played thus far in terms of aesthetics. Great stuff!

Really awesome art and quite fluid to control, I struggled trying to figure out the optimal flow to play, but still had a great experience! Also the artwork slaps!

What an awesome game team ^_^. So dope having to work around yourself! Think I'd love it even more if there was a time limit for pressure, and there was also a way that you could go back and replace the driving for a specific vehicles run, with a perfect run being required to beat the level. Either way, really enjoyed this one ^_^! Be dope to expand on this in the future,

Omg what a fun goofy game :O. Yall did well on this one! Art, sound and gameplay are mega captivating, and the humorous charm that this game has is fantastic too! Amazing. ty for making this ^_^

Well done, and just for 1 person too! Found it to be a super unique idea, making direction be what causes upgrades. I went for direction speed increase, and It was really hard to play with the upgrade UI on my screen the whole time, which I'm sure is intentional, but I feel like it wasn't fun. Low key is such a unique spin on the vampire survives format that I think you should keep cooking with this idea ^_^.

Really awesome visuals with the pixelated shading, I struggled to be engaged by getting text that tells me that I've hit a trap when I took the wrong turn though.

Impressive for 1 person! The art and music are phenomenal and so are a lot of the systems. I think some balancing around resources to speed up the experience would be fantastic!

Was a fun little challenge, with such a unique premise. I think if you could make it so your values aren't lost when you hit play, so you can tweek them again, I think it would make it way better. Glad I played this one, really cool idea!

This game offered a great challenge with some fantastic art and sounds! Well done crew. I did end up having a few bugs though and it took me a while to realise that the fire flies allerted the owls. I really feel like you've all got something amazing here, and feel like yall should keep development on this post jam! ^_^.

BINDO

Still can't belive this was made in a week 🤯

How the hell did you three make this in just a week? This is nuts. Game feels soooo damn good to play and the upgrades are really fun. Also visuals and sounds are s-tier too. While I don't think things were as strong as they could be with the theme, everything else is 5 stars. Might be the most fun I've had with games in this jam! Amazing stuff.

What a silly game XD. Love the music, art and the writing. The gameplay was fun and stressful too! took me a while to realise how to create the recipes and figure out that abomination was a dog lol. Love getting cops after me too. Great stuff team!

What an epic game! Artistically stunning and with such compelling gameplay. This is insane for just a week. One of my favs from the jam ^_^

This is so much fun ^_^

This has to be the strangest game I've played in the Jam, but there's something about it that I quite like. A lot of the minigames were quite compelling, and given a fresh coat of art and UI would be amazing! I ended up getting stuck on an escort mission though, enemies kept spawning on top of who I was escorting and I really struggled to react when enemies charged in. I also had a bug where both sfx and music cut out after holding Q down for too long in that escort mission. I did miss hearing the creepiest music ever.

This game kind of reminded me of the old arcade Tron game, which Is one of my favs. Well done for a 1-person team.

no worries, and 100 huh? that is a dangerous carrot of knowledge  dangling on a stick 😬

There's actually something kinda engaging about this formula. I actually like that it was held to drag to select shrooms rather than just click. Felt nice to chain shrooms around with the mouse. It's a lot more engaging than just clicking a cookie IMO. Love to see what the concept would do if given more time to cook ^_^.

I got up to the spiked staircase part and put the box down on the zone and then hit a spike and died before being respawned and it froze the game and I lost my progress unfortunately. I was having so much fun up to that point though. It's such a compelling game. Amazing stuff for just 1 dev. Probably the best platformer controls I've played with in this jam, with such a compelling premise, captivating, narrative/dialogue, amazing art, beautiful gameplay juice. This has to be one of my favs of the jam, and is my fav solo dev game thus far. I might have to go back and give it another play soon, so I can get past where I got soft locked!

Also was a little disappointed I didn't get a "Nice" for repeating just shy of 70 times at the start lel, but damn I was impressed with the amount of dialogue you had there tho. It made me wanna keep banging my head against a wall :p

Thanks so much for making such an awesome experience ^_^!

This is amazing, what a fun way to take the theme and corrupt a platformer 😍😍. This is such a winning formula and I cannot believe it was all made by one person. Amazing stuff. I think this is definitely worthy of receiving post jam tlc. Might have to come back for a blue door run. Great stuff ^_^

This game is the goat!  You all did well coordinating the whole team on this one! Visual charm and a funny chaotic form of gameplay come together.  Also bonus points for having localisation, yet to come across that in other jam games!

This is so unique, you guys are geniuses and swift workers :3! What a cool mechanic and delivered with a buttload of polish. Very enjoyable!

Great art and awesome gameplay system. This was a delightful game to beat! On my first playthrough, I ended up getting stuck with no money and couldn't make potions without ingredients, so a way to prevent that softlock would be nice! Amazing job for just a week you two!

This is such a unique little puzzle idea. Amazed how you two managed to think of the design, let alone polished it so much. I'm very impressed, and had a lot of fun with this!

Best score I got was a 15. Love to know what the least amount of turns you two devs have beaten your own game with <3

omg I somehow missed that, it does change things a lot. And damn yeah that makes a lot of sense then. That is a fun mechanic to play around :3
