Well done, and just for 1 person too! Found it to be a super unique idea, making direction be what causes upgrades. I went for direction speed increase, and It was really hard to play with the upgrade UI on my screen the whole time, which I'm sure is intentional, but I feel like it wasn't fun. Low key is such a unique spin on the vampire survives format that I think you should keep cooking with this idea ^_^.

How does the game fit the theme?
The player buys a new product that claims to guide you in the right direction in life. Thus, nothing can go wrong in your life. However, that doesn't seem to be the case.
