So, it's a game where you get payed by not touching controls! Nice, if you stumble upon similar job offerings IRL - let me know)

anyhoo, i liked the retro vibe and a premise.
Do you mind some critique about sound? The background music sounds mostly nice, but highs are a lil too harsh and probably unnecessary for such track:
I've tried rolling off a lil after 10K - and i liked it much more.
That is fantastic advice, thank you!
Indeed that 6k-10k+ range is sometimes tricky to mix for me. I think I usually tend to keep it more muted which is why I've been trying to push it a bit lately. My idea was to keep it there to give the music a bit more presence as it would be mixed very low during gameplay.
Thanks for your feedback! I'll keep it in mind =)
Very good game! Visuals and music are insane! Very good job!
Very solid presentation, with great visuals and sound design!
I had trouble understanding the player's goal, like why the different monsters were happy or not when I purchased them. It often also felt like we just had to wait around when we don't have any money left and every meter is more or less stabilized.
All in all, well done!
You are actually much closer to my intended solution than you thought!
I definitely didn’t expect any rewards on this one. If you’d like some insight onto the meta-objective of the game, I added a hint at the bottom of the itch page.
Thanks for playing! I’m glad the style shone through the lack of gameplay <3
Wow thank you, now I understand. That's a really smart take on the theme! I realised that with the "Poke" button which I ended up not touching anymore, but not with all the other ones.
I swear I checked several times the itch page while playing to look for instructions but I somehow missed that whole "Hint" paragraph x)
No worries! I only added it after your comment
Ah that makes sense. Thanks.
Creatively designed retro-futuristic idle game that makes you feel like you're in charge of a high-tech zoo! An impressively great concept. The design and aesthetic really stand out! Overall, it's a fun and innovative jam entry that shows great potential for further development. Great job!
Phenomenal idea and great design. In one play-through your game made me feel like I was Dyatlov from the HBO series Chernobyl.
This is neat, especially for a project limited by the "closed book" approach that you described. The game could use some explanation on what all buttons and functionality does exactly, but it's really cool.
Very interesting desings! Good game
