Thanks so much!

For some reason I can't play it. But I like the art from the thumbnail

Thanks for letting us know! Reaching out to Bergie to see what might be the cause

Developer

Nuts, taking a look now but I don't have a lead on the why. Any chance you can share more on your experience? Would love to solve this for ya.

If you're trying to play on mobile, it doesn't have the controls for that yet.

No problem, it says "Error: Couldn't load project data at path ".". Is the .pck file missing?". I'm playing on PC and have my adblockers turned off. Hope that helps

Wow, these three minutes made me feel really good. The pixel art, BGM, and jumping on clouds were enjoyable and fun from the beginning—starting from the ground, reaching the low-gravity layer, and floating into space until the black hole. Even though the game seems small and doesn't take long, the experience I got was not small at all.

Wow, thanks so much!! Really glad you enjoyed it!

Cute little game. I don't think I found out how it fits the theme though. Also I wish I could jump with W or up arrow

Thanks for the feedback!

The ending is strangely eerie. Poor Penguine. Nice doodle jump-esque game! Was it hand crafted or proc-gen?

(+1)

Thank you! If I'm not mistaken, I believe Bergie placed everything by hand.

Developer

Thanks! Couldn't have landed that eerieness without Lyre's music.

Game was 100% hand crafted. The level design came about in the last couple of days and therefore I was a tad sloppy with it.

Ok this one is a good one and my only comment would be to explain briefly about the jumping clouds and the task while onboarding.

Thanks so much for the feedback!

I guess some dreams are not meant to be pursued...
You play as a penguin who's trying to reach for the stars and beyond, although the idea concept of the game is adorable, the excellent moody visual and the eerie sound effects say otherwise.

The atmosphere in this game is incredible, the glittering stars create a sense of wonder, but the stark black background adds a foreboding feeling to the wonder, the game feel exactly like space: quiet, eerie, but also wonderful.

The gameplay is simple but quite enjoyable, reminds me a bit of the game Doodle Jump, overall this is a great little game! Amazing work!

Thanks so much for the great review :)

Very fun and solid game. The penguin paid the ultimate price for his dreams :(

Thank you :'(( poor penguin

Very cute little game!

Thank you!

Lol I loved the little squish animation when you fall from up high. Pretty cool entry!

(+1)

Thank you, glad you liked it!

It was a very simple and straightforward, tried and true gameplay loop, but you made it feel so much better with the mood you set with the music and art. Very well done!

Wow, thank you so much!!

The visuals and sounds are great; they create a good atmosphere, and the gravity mechanic is clever and feels good. The game becomes easier as we go higher, so maybe add more elements to your level design to increase the difficulty when we go up ;)
Nice submission!

Thanks so much! Appreciate the feedback and the playthrough!!

I really liked this game. I think it could be developed into a full-fledged mobile game. The feeling of flying in space is very pleasant.

Thanks so much!

Really good simple game, I loved the minimalist pixelart style.

Thanks for playing!

The vibe at the end of this was immaculate and just the right level of unexpected. Very good work, I wasn’t expecting this level of moodiness from a little Penguin jumping game.

Thanks so much!!

Incredible work y'all! I loved the minimalist pixel art so much, and the gameplay felt engaging for how simple it was. Was bummed when it ended because of how short it was. Would've loved to see more content and different types of platforming elements tied into the experience. However, can def understand quicker games due to the nature of jams. Would be cool to see how y'all develop this if you continue to work on it. Good stuff~!

Nice music, i like it. The game was fun but its too short to enjoy it so well.

Thank you! We appreciate the feedback!

Nice game! The audio was great. Not sure how this fit the theme, but I enjoyed the game.  More than 1 level would be a good thing, but I get it due to the time limitations of the game jam. Well done!

Thank you!!

Yeah, initially the scope was supposed to be a bit bigger, but our team unfortunately got delayed trying to implement a core mechanic.  We needed to pivot gameplay heavily last minute and reduce scope in order to finish on time.

But, hey, great learning experience! Thanks again for the feedback, and appreciate the play!

Ah man the swinging constellations, I wish I could have made those work! I had my head buried in Godot's Joint2D documentation for a little too long that once I was reminded of the time I had to sadly cut it from the final product and focus on what we had.

I'm going to pour out another cup of coffee for that loss.

Beautiful work on the music.  The overall atmosphere(visuals + music) works very well.
