What a pretty game and a simple joy. It was very peaceful and the sound design was spot on

I loved all of the character art. Quiet a peaceful and somber game

After trying 4 times, I couldn’t get the game to fully load. Bummer because the art and colors look great!

Thank you so much, this is all too kind <3

yay!! Mission accomplished

I’m glad you were able to experience some of the hidden depth of the grappling/air movement! Most of it is relying on janky implementations of Source Engine style movement, so there’s definitely a lot of maneuvering you can do with the grapple once you get the hang of it

The Tony Hawk/Cowboy Bebop comparisons made my day! I grew up with those, so even if it wasn’t on purpose its neat to see my inspirations coming through <3 Thank you so much for the detailed notes!

Thank you for playing and even more for the notes! I agree, adding some more player feedback will be high priority on the next project

I debated long and hard about putting waypoints on the delivery items, but decided I wanted to go for a scavenger hunt type experience. I can definitely understand why that wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea. Still thank you so much for playing and the detailed notes.

I agree on the level design, if I revisit this game I think it’ll benefit from even more straightaways and more varied heights

Thank you! I agree, it still needs a bit of love and easing the player into it

Thank you for playing! Hearing that you had fun flying around means I did exactly what I set out for <3

Thank you! If you don’t mind me asking, any particular parts that we’re falling short on?

Thank you so much for the notes! Feedback on item pickups seems to be a spot this game struggled, so it’ll definitely be a place I’ll look towards improving next time.

Thanks for playing! I’m glad you enjoyed the game even despite a few rough edges.

The text is a rendering issue. Thankfully I think I’ve got it solved, just waiting for the jam to end to release the fixes

I felt like that was bound to happen to some folks! Been looking at some of the feedback and I think my level design needs to be a bit more beginner friendly, at least for the intro.

If it makes you feel any better, I’ve found myself under those clouds A LOT while testing.

If ya don’t mind me asking, how many times did you yeet yourself out into the ocean before you quit?

Excellent!! These are just the types of experiences I was hoping for: people finding clever ways to use the movement that even I wasn’t thinking about. Very glad you had fun

That’s so sweet thank you!!

Thanks so much for commenting!

Now another reason that our games can be compared to Spiderman lmaoo

Thanks for playing! And these are FANTASTIC notes!!

To address these issues I feel like I’ll play with the idea of more linear level design, at least early on, if I expand on this project. More gaps, larger distances, trickier landings. That may have a better feel over just throwing someone into a sandbox.

All that being said, I’m glad you had fun and once again thanks for the detailed notes

Thanks for playing!! oh no!! I’m sorry, I think I hid one of them a bit too well

I’m glad that you were able to have fun swinging around, that was the main thing I wanted people to feel is the fun freedom of movement once you got used to it <3

Thank you for taking the time to play and even more for taking the time to give notes! I’m happy to hear that the movement seems to be a solid base to grow on.

If people seem to enjoy this one, this may be the first game jam submission I actually take the time to flesh out <3

Oof, sorry that it was unclear!

The Wizard was turned into a mouse by the hero. You play as the Wizard’s cat who’s feeling a little snacky.

Not sure if it was a bug on my end, but I couldn’t progress. Despite having enough Food/Wood, it wouldn’t let me create any units.

Once I got used to it, the skating was really fun! Is there currently just the one task or did I break something?

Okay even if it isn’t The Wheel, I need you to make more FPS games please. This is peak

Its giving The Witness and I mean that in the best way

That is fantastic advice, thank you!

No worries! I only added it after your comment

You are actually much closer to my intended solution than you thought!

I definitely didn’t expect any rewards on this one. If you’d like some insight onto the meta-objective of the game, I added a hint at the bottom of the itch page.

Thanks for playing! I’m glad the style shone through the lack of gameplay <3

Had a lot of fun on this one! It is currently one of only two jam games that I gave a multiple playthroughs.

I love games that are just puzzles meant to test boundaries. I can easily see this going in many more directions. If you’d like some ideas, here’s some stuff my obstinate self tried to do:

  • Lose the Button game on purpose
  • Go through the drawers
  • Flip the fuse back-and-forth
  • Nothing
  • Press keys on the computer
  • Press the button, realize my mistake, never touch another button
  • Slurp-sl-sl-sl-sl-sl-sl-sl-sl-slurp Coffee all shift

Simple but very fun!! You and I actually went sort of similar directions for this jam, but you definitely got so much more into yours!!

Getting the right button before being offered an early retirement plan was very satisfying

With a little polish, this game has enough legs to go somewhere! It’s quick to understand, easy to play, and its very fair.

Earnestly, this is the exact type of game I would’ve played endlessly in the computer lab back in grade school.

Kudos!

Cheers! This one has such a fun concept and was very easy to pick up and play. With a little extra work this could easily become a fun game to throw on mobile!!

My only nit is small, I did find myself having to re-click on objects. I feel like a bit more forgiveness on the Input detection’s radius could easily solve this though

Great design work!

Hands down the most visually appealing game I’ve gotten to play this jam.

Very blown away with the Art, both your pixel art AND your subtle VFX. The reflection on the solar panel didn’t go unnoticed.

I will say, one thing managed to go wrong. I am not a musician and should not be trusted with a guitar 10/10

But yea, kudos! This felt like being sent into a vintage postcard of a National Park with just a touch of Monkey Island meets Gravity Falls. Like I said, nothing but praise for the art direction here!

I like the game concept! Thought I’d point out a bug:

If using the fullscreen, I was only able to turn in a 180 degree radius

Such a fun game for such a short jam! Its like if Overcooked meets Wilmont’s Warehouse in the best way

One of the Must Plays of Brackey’s 2025

You can watch my live playtest here

If you’d like to watch me play it live, I just posted the VOD on my YouTube <3

The vibe at the end of this was immaculate and just the right level of unexpected. Very good work, I wasn’t expecting this level of moodiness from a little Penguin jumping game.
