Nice tough game.  It'd have been great if there would have been a map or lit pathways to the next task, that way it feels like there's a change I wouldn't lose.  lol

I like the game concept! Thought I’d point out a bug:

If using the fullscreen, I was only able to turn in a 180 degree radius

I first didn’t read how this game fit the theme and only now realized that I was supposed to lose all along :D I think it’s a cool idea and I enjoyed playing it, some things could have been improved though in my opinion such as for example wire hitboxes and similar. Nonetheless it’s an enjoyable game. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I can definitely agree with the janky nature of the game 😅

I couldn't quite get the hang of the controls. Left click seemed to grab the battery instead of E, or sometimes both? I couldn't reliably interact with the wires. Asteroids seemed to work though. I definitely felt the pressure of getting things done in time. There was also a nice ambiance here. Nice work!

Developer

Oh wow, I didn't know you could grab with left click. Shows how good a game tester I am 😅. Thanks for playing!

Amazing work done you guys!

The gameloop felt kinda hectic, the amount of tasks of you dont know where to look can be hard but the choice to control the task cooldown and total time was appreciated

Really reminds me of those old amogus days, you guys managed to capture a pretty good chunk of that games feels in a literal week..

The Models and the map were also done amazingly but maybe a little more variation couldve helped

Some UI for the tasks would be handy too

And a map definitely!

But seriously, you guys did an amazing job in the time you were given, Id love to try this later if you guys add more updates! :D

Developer

Dang, thanks for this review. I'm glad you had fun! I think if we had more time we would've liked to provide a compass and more obvious UI elements for sure.

Awesome game and concept! I really enjoyed the adrenaline of completing tasks on time. However, the asteroid minigame sometimes bugged out for me, with the ship appearing upside down or not showing up at all. But overall, had a great time playing this one, keep up the good work :D!

Developer

Thanks for playing/the review. Fun fact, the control of the ship is not limited to when you're in the game... Which is why you can turn it upside down😂

Game idea and level design is great, but there are some collision bugs with batteries. Still, good job!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, it is a bit janky. If you jump on the battery whilst holding it and keep jumping you can fly! I'm sure there's a collision I've missed somewhere on the roof so if you do everything right I'm sure you can fly around the map. Thanks for playing!

The idea is cool! I think maybe it needs a bit more feedback and audio, but it fits ironically with the theme!

Developer(+1)

I definitely agree! If I had more time, I would've loved to spend more time working on the audio, especially to try and sell the speed the player can get up to.

Also a better indication of when a task is completed, perhaps with an animation or some other form of feedback to the player.

Thanks for the review!
