This is so unique, you guys are geniuses and swift workers :3! What a cool mechanic and delivered with a buttload of polish. Very enjoyable!
I didn't survive the 9th wave... but I definitely enjoyed the challenge! It would be nice to be able to see the temporary rules that are in effect as the waves play out. This is a pretty solid game, though... and I'm not usually a big fan of tower defense. Super polished appearance.

Yeah unfortunately our artist AND second programmer were sick the whole week so I (first programmer) had to do most of the stuff myself, which is why we couldn’t find enough time to do explosions, animations etc.

Very great game design! It was really a good tower defense experience. Especially picking up debuff cards made the game more challanging. It was so much fun to play. Even though I couldn't distinguish yellow path from green (I'm color blind) I had a blast.
Thank you very much! You’re absolutely right about the paths, initially we couldn’t decide on the colours and in the end we just left them as they were. But a colour-blind-friendly colour scheme would be much better.
Great game! Awesome visuals, audio, feel and gameplay, built on a really interesting take on a tower defense.
A small tip (unrelated to gameplay) is to remove the itch.io fullscreen button in the game settings. It hides the proper fullscreen button provided by your Unity build. Increase the resolution height ever so slightly to fit the real fullscreen button.
You’re a lifesaver, for years I could NEVER wrap my head around how the fullscreen “worked” on itchio! I fixed it thanks to you!

This is a really nice twist on "classic" tower defense. The visuals were on point and the music was nice.
