How does the game fit the theme?
You play as a stagehand that is given a rather difficult job by a perfectionist D. Rick-Tour, where mistakes are met with derision, or worse, being fired!
So clearly, nothing can go wrong.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All audience/applause sound effects and the BGM playing throughout the game.
How many people worked on the game?2

Fun little game with a super simple idea! My only constructive criticism would be about the long waiting periods between each actor’s dressing, which is the actual gameplay. An option to “confirm” the dress once you’re set and fast-forward the time would be nice. Or if you WANT the player to sit through the play, you can maybe have some speech bubbles or stage effects etc. coming from the stage, and we actually get so experience what it’s like to be backstage!
Thank you kindly for the feedback! It was in fact our plan to implement some extra distractions between costume changes to make things harder (e.g. the actor asking for water, or speech bubbles that cover the screen and need to be clicked away). Alas, time was not on our side on this one
It was a fun game, good job. We got 11/12 first try ;D
