The style is cool and special! the screen size is too small but I liked the gameboy controls! good job!

please consider checking our game too (:

Thanks for the review! Glad to hear that you liked it)

The small screen is because of the emulator

P.S. I have checked your game ;)

The art style is quite nostalgic, I quite liked it. Maybe adding a grid based movement would be better for a bit game like this.  It was a nice experience nonetheless.

I don't like anonymous voting so here is my rating.

Keep up the good work.

I really liked the idea and the artstyle

but i was really confused and the play screen was too small. and i couldnt really spend time looking at the world because i was busy spamming click

but still super fun

Your art is so good. Even though, I suck at your game. But Loved it Nevertheless.

Love the art. Im sucker for minimalistic art. And game is super fun!

The enemies come at you so fast and as a result I spent more time clicking play than I did playing LOL. The 1-bit style is done well though. I'm not sure you needed to show the device you play on as it makes the actual play screen too small.

Nice game! Really like how its made for the arduboy, unique!

i lost really fast.

Interesting concept and great design - it is a bit hard to control - but overall I really enjoyed this game. Well done!

Like the idea.

The game looks great although like other comments have said, a bit hard to control and enemies sometimes to near that there is not enough time to react. Good work though!

I like the idea. It has really good visuals.

When I restart level enemies stay at me and give me some damage. You should fix it.

Submitted

like the concept but really hard to control.

Theme and visuals are great! It's certainly one of the more creative game jam entries i've seen, pretty awesome job!

Submitted

It is a bit hard to see and to controll using the mouse with the emulator. Not sure if there is a better way to play, and not sure what the emulator adds to the experience.

The visuals are great! Nice job

The Game is very cool and the visuals are very good too

This was fun. I like the visuals they're nice.

A bit clanky to view and control, but the idea for a game-boy-like game in a jam is really unique, loved it!

Loved if you could check out my game as well (:

I loved the design and loved how it fits the whole minimal theme. I think I encountered a glitch though as the enemies kept spawning right next to or on the player and it didn't give me enough time to react and shoot them.

I found it a little difficult to tell what was happening on the small screen, but I do really like the general idea of a "game within a game" with the whole virtual game boy!
