This is totally fun! (I mean, who doesn't love ghost puzzles, right??)
I love the overall design and color palette, especially of the backgrounds.
I thought the puzzles were well designed, and the hint system was a thoughtful touch. The puzzles did start to feel a bit repetitive, but the game is short enough that it's not that much of an issue, and the overall feel of the game carried it through.
Nice job!!
Great game, I liked the puzzles very much and the hint system is a nice touch. The music and art create a good atmosphere. I really enjoyed it.
Love your art style and the atmosphere. The game would benefit from having a few more puzzles to build up the difficulty a bit more.
Amazing game and really fun to play, the atmosphere felt amazing and Im really impressed with how you did the camera. Great work!
The hint system is good. Puzzles are on the easier side, but that's fine by me. I solved at least one by accident though. Was wondering if I had to change the tiles and - bam - the puzzle was cracked. It would be nice to get a quick look at the solution afterwards. But that's down to personal preference. You can also simply take a look at the puzzle BEFORE solving it I guess. :)
The night-time lighting of the scenery creates an nice atmosphere. The whole game is super cute. It really feels a bit like Professor Layton did somehow stumble into in the (cutified) manor from "The Seventh Guest". SpOoOooky indeed. Fun, too. :)
"A night in the woods" vibe here. Animations a bit rough, made me feel dizzy for a while, but that goes great with the atmosphere (along with nice camera work). Maybe the dialogue sfx ruin the overall spookiness, I'd play without them. Puzzles can be guessed. It's good you have hints, I missed the book right from the start, maybe some items and solutions can grab more attention or hinted to (like, in dialogues). To my taste, for that kind of cuteness of a game there're too much puzzles met too often, not enough story. But the game feels really cool, a spooky cuteness: liked the visuals and the music ambience most!
Very nice game. It felt like a cuter version of The 7th Guest, with all the puzzles embedded in a story. It was fun to play, and the art is lovely.
Thank you for the kind comment! Haha, I didn't know of "The 7th Guest" so I had to look it up and it's awesome! I love early 90's 3D graphics :D Thanks for educating me on a piece of gaming history :)
Very neat puzzle game! I really enjoyed the puzzles cuz they were simple enough to where I didn't have to struggle too much, AND you had hints! My only complaint is that it was a bit loud and the SFX volume was not working :( GJ though!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked the puzzles! Thanks for letting me know about the sound effects! It was a mistake on my part but I've fixed the sfx volume now so it should work properly for future players.
who's Emily :-) ? you game is super cute :-) - it may be a mix between an adventure and a puzzle game but it's sweet and nice - and your game graphics and animations are quite lovable
Thank you, that’s very kind! I’m glad you liked the game. I was inspired by the gameplay style of the professor Layton games, so I think your description of a mix between puzzle game and adventure fits well. Emily is my amazing wife, who’s been very supportive of me spending most of my nights drawing and coding the last two weeks XD
Wow, the graphics are so cool ! And the atmosphere too, congratulations !
Thank you, that's very kind!
Amazing work on the game love the atmosphere and puzzles it kinda reminded me of stranger things when they initial house came into scene.

This was amazing!!! The art and atmosphere are so fantastic, I love how everything was drawn and put together. It was so silly and cute and the puzzles were fun and not too difficult. It truly was The Spookiest Night
Thank you for the super kind comment! I’m very glad you liked my drawings, and that you enjoyed the puzzles
Nice game!
The art and audio are amazing! Beautiful backgrounds and great ambience. The puzzle interface felt very juicy and pleasant to use. I feel like most of the puzzles were pretty easy, but with an interesting twist on the last one (I did briefly turn on the hint for that one). Overall, I really liked it!
Thank you for the kind words :) I’m glad you liked the game! I was worried about the puzzles being too hard, so I’m happy you thought most of them weren’t! Nice to hear you found the hint system useful, that means it was worth the time implementing it ;)
Thanks a lot for playing and for the comment!
Very nice, I liked the idea of building a series of number puzzles around a small bit of information. I loved the animation for the cat too!
