Hi!!!

To all in-experienced AND experienced developers, lets compare your first game to your latest. There's nothing quite like looking back at your old work and cringing, and then comparing it to your latest work. Don't be shy! I for one am completely new so my first game is also my latest :

https://iistoat.itch.io/urbh you're a RAT with a SEVERE pest problem... need i say more?

TBH my very first game was made more than a decade ago but I've lost the files.

So I'm going to define my first game as the one when I decided to make my own IP. Here it is:

Rainbow

and this is my latest game : Raider & Reaper

The first game I ever made was for the P2000T computer and has gone lost over time, although I've remade included it and included it in my Star Story game, as an optional mini-game.

The newest game I completed would be House Of Cards, I often like to kill some time with solitaire card games and I got a bit fed up with all the endless ads that the solitaire collection of Windows hunts me with, hence I came up with my own collection. It has more different kind of games also (the screenshot below shows Yukon solitaire, oh, and don't mind the Dutch language in that shot. The game supports English, Dutch, German and French).

Now my game Luna's Father is still in development, so I won't count that as my latest game yet.

Good topic! First game: Witches and Bandits and Swords (Oh My)- 2017. It was developed from a choose-your-own-adventure ebook I wrote for Kindle:

Latest Game: Five Day Detective, a point a click adventure. Kept the same core team of Coder Mike and I, but have now commissioned artists and translators.

Yeah I thought the same thing... but the good thing about it is, we are sticking with it :)

Good old QBASIC. Since I already switched from BASIC to Turbo Pascal when QBASIC came out, I've not used it very much, yet I did like some of the improvements it had compared to GW-BASIC.

looks like Quake and unreal

Ignoring miscellaneous scratch games that have been mostly lost due to banned accounts, my first proper game was puym. Puym was a stupid topdown shooter i made in a weekend while i had a friend over at my house and wasnt really meant to be much more than a joke.

My latest game, Yellow Flow was also a stupid topdown shooter yet it was made in 3 days for melon jam '24 and was supposed to be a love letter of sorts to all the goofy and violent flash games i would spend hours playing as a kid (mainly the hobo series, gun mayhem, swords and sandals etc.). While being super unpolished and buggy (i had 3 days to make it afterall, alot of that taken up by IRL stuff) i think i managed to make a pretty fun game with YF for what it was supposed to be, though ive been slowly but surely finishing off a project with over a year and a half of progress and im hoping to have it out by the end of the summer!

Howdy, I’m regularGAMES! :D The first game I ever made is called “livin’ the dream”, a massive simulation game made in Scratch that broke my computer! it’s basically just an animal crossing/sims rip off except it never saw the public eye, fortunately

The latest project I’m developing at the moment, is a top down platformer called “Minute”. However this isn’t your average platformer… You now have to time your jumps using a scrolling arrow! (Kind of like a rhythm game but without the catchy music..) It’s been in beta for 2 years and I’m now working on the full release. Please check it out and give feedback! :3
