Right now, it's mostly some straightforward monstergirl/boy content, both top and bottom. Pregnancy is in the works, and there is an egg-insertion scene.
Planned is a bit harder to say, as it depends on what I feel like for any given update. Very likely adds: BDSM stuff, pet play, submission, and transformation. Any topic that is very niche will be clearly tagged in-game, so that you can avoid it.

I'm not going to play this game until I know that I can play it as the gay male I am. I'm of the opinion that we should have options if possible, like Lustful Desires has in letting you choose whether to fight males or females (If this game has or ever will have LD's lust mechanic and "forced" fetish.), then it will only spawn enemies you prefer.
I would hope that I could play this game, seeing as your game showed up with the gay tag selected. I hope it wasn't mistagged.
No, you cannot obtain more right now. It is not meant to be farmable yet, as the armor is a bit too strong for the upcoming content
Maybe there will be more species. They are a lot of work to make, though there are a least some plans for some additions.
If I let you change species in game, you will likely need some item for it.

On Windows, savefiles are stored in the %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\ folder. The savefiles will be kept if you update the game, and remain usable
Potions to change your genitals to more fantasy ones have been added to the upcoming update V0.7.0. A species transformation might come in V0.8.0, but that isn't certain yet
Strange, you should just lose, but it has been a while since Iooked at that mechanic. It is somewhat under-baked, and is scheduled for an overhaul in V0.8.0
Downloaded Lordling of Hearts - 64bit Windows.zip on Windows 11; Google Chrome has default security settings. I cannot replicate the issue now that I let the file through, and for either that reason or another, none of the others are getting flagged. If it's not happening to you or others, it's probably not a concern, but still worth noting at least. Maybe just something to keep an eye on. I've never had it happen with another file from itchio, so I doubt it was the site itself. Just wanted to let you know incase it ever became important!
I did a little test, and could not find anything amiss. Are you using a ranged weapon that deals wind damage perhaps (the wind elementals are immune to that)? Otherwise I recommend upgrading your gear and seeing if you can find a source of earth damage. That region is meant to be a bit high level (More lower level swamp will be added over the following updates to the north of Darkhill).
The lust system is in need of an overhaul which it will be getting in the next update. For now, libido increases max lust, virility, and fertility, yes
I want to transfer my save from one PC version to another PC version, is the save a Text file on PC, and if so what is the extension of the file, and where would it normally be located at on a Windows computer? also would it be a horrible idea to transfer a save from an old version to a new version when the version is only one update in difference?
All old save files are fully compatible with the newer versions of the game, and will automatically be updated on loading. The upload/download file menus (accessible in the save/load menu while in game) currently aren't implemented on PC, but those menu's will tell you the folder in which the save files are stored. Just copy the saves over and they will work. The extension is .gsv

Ahh yes, there was a game-breaking bug with the daycare. Oh wait, this is about the question before it, yeah there was a major update, and all the passwords get updated then so only current patreons get access, same as always. (There was a minor patch today too, but I don't bother updating the passwords for bugfixes)
