Great resources list!

Fun game I enjoyed the challenge of timing those blocks and hits, had me locked in like I was playing Sekiro.

Fun chaos, especially enjoyed the doppler effect on the flying dudes screams. Got me replaying until I could get on a leaderboard.

Thanks for playing! I had a lot of fun with this project and the theme.

I softlocked myself a few times but had fun retrying and speedrunning the next try. At least I think this was a softlock cause I couldnt pick up the rock. Still had a lot of fun though.

This was so silly and fun, I had a smile the whole time playing it. Loved the art and music selections.

I got to 415nm, I really liked the going in and out of water drop view + gameplay transition. The inside of the droplet reminded me a bit of Spore.

Nice chill game, the minigames and running around kinda reminded me of Among Us in a good way. I got stuck for an embarassingly long time not realizing I could walk over the panel near the GPU, so I confused how to get to the other side, once I got past that though it was smooth sailing.

Very clean and polished game! I liked the dialogue system and mini character animations, it really added a lot of personality to each character. Playing with physics objects is always fun to me, but it was pretty tough getting things in place well enough to earn 3 stars.

I was having so much fun I actually started grinding to get more items from the shop. Very fun game, good music choice too, reminded me a bit of Castlevania.

Thanks for playing my game! Those were the two areas I really focused on the most!

Thank you for your kind words and playing my game! I really had a lot of fun making it, it has been the most complete and polished game I have made so far!

Thanks for playing my game! The zoom-out was an unplanned feature that I quickly realized was necessary, so I am glad players are using it!

I am glad to hear you enjoyed my game, thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing my game!

Thank you for playing my game and leaving such a thought out comment! I truly appreciate it. Maybe it is obvious, but my inspo for the spider were the dust sprites from Totoro and Spirited Away, some of my all time favs. Truth be told being able to climb on ceilings was a happy little accident that sort of just worked from implementing the wall climbing, so I should def go back and make it behave more intended. The background rain definitely has some extra sounds I didn't notice at first, so good ear.

Thanks for the feedback and playing my game! I haven't encountered that bug yet, but if I do I will be sure to capture it in my web. You're right about procedural animation! It was a new thing for me, so it's a bit janky, but basically I drew a leg in aseprite, added a sort of socket bone at the root, then 3 bones for the leg itself, next I painted the area of effect weights on the sprite then used a IK manager with 4 CCD Solvers, 1 for each leg. Finally, I created a script that let me set a zone near the body that selects a new target for each leg while moving.
Here is a pic of the setup:

Super chill lofi, I used it for my game : https://swert425.itch.io/tiny-spidervania! I felt that it fit the rainy day vibe I was going for perfectly, so thanks! I used "Rainy Day" for the outside level, and "Tapered Out" for the inside tree level.

Fun little platformer that got a lot of mileage out of its few mechanics, the final boss fight was a nice way to cap off the experience.

Super fun game, started off reminding me of wordle but you really pushed the idea into its own thing. The ambient vibe, itch page, and being able to play with the numpad in portrait mode window were all great details that added to the experience, I was actually immersed.

I love bananas, so automatically it's a cool game. The closing in at the end is a cool concept but I wish there was a bit more to do when you get stuck in it, I wanted to make like a banana and split to the next attempt.

Thank you for playing my game! I had a lot of fun drawing out the playfield on paper then recreating it with tilemaps and basic sprites.

Thanks for having fun with my game and sticking(spider pun) with it!

Pretty fun minigame, felt kinda bad running over the chickens tho, it was lonely at the end.

Wow this is really a full fledged game basically good job

I've always wondered what it was to be a leaf, so good job you achieved that. It was pretty chill till I spun really high and got dizzy irl.

I liked the vibe of the world and was ready to see what happens next.

Thank you for playing! I'm glad the mechanics felt cohesive, I did try to make dying as painless as possible!

Thanks! :)

Thanks for playing! :)

Thanks for playing!

Solid work, everything felt quite polished and well thought out. Good creative use of provided assets and good music choices.

Managed to beat it after a few tries, my winning strat was to sprint near the butt, stopping for a moment, then moving forward to get 1/2 attacks in from behind, ended up not using the dodge. I would say forcing me to find a way to cheese it is very soulslike though, so good job.

(1 edit)

Had a lot of fun grappling in this game, I enjoyed the unique uses of the mechanic throughout the levels. I also made a grappling mechanic but your game got me wishing I implemented more level design around it. Really fun game and I would play more.

Really nice grapple mechanics and level design to capitalize on that, I would play more levels.

Very fun and whimsical, I especially enjoyed talking to all the little people, but I do wonder if they purposefully shrink down their veggies to feel big though.

Pretty fun game that I find myself coming back to trying to get better, the art style really works well and has good depth.

It was lagging pretty bad for me too yesterday night, but today it worked great, fun game :)

Thank you!

Haha I really did try to make the spider legs feel spidery and the movement feel right. I had several last minute bugs after building to WebGL it seems, I was trying to smooth it all out to the last minute! I am still pretty happy with the outcome and appreciate you playing my game!
