This has been my favorite entry so far.  The idea is really solid and the implementation was perfect.  The player controller felt very smooth and the platforming was very satisfying.  I thought the puzzle lengths were perfect to keep you from getting annoyed in the context of a jam.  The amount of interesting mechanics introduced made the puzzles never feel to similar. Loved the art as well.  This is one of the few entries so far I've felt motivated to get to the end on.  Was a little disappointed there was no pay off for beating them all even if it was as simple as a "thanks for playing" but with the amount of polish and content in your entry completely understandable you weren't able to fit something in with the limited time constraint.

I had a lot of fun playing this game!

Great platformer (which is kinda funny, considering the premise) game! Reminded me of Super Meat Boy, because of the pleasing visuals and silky smooth controls, which are very responsive.

The concept might be predictable, but gameplay wise you made it very interesting! As others pointed out, the music sounds odd at times and audio mixing could use some work, but it's not that big a deal, in my opinion.

Still, you layed out a pretty solid foundation for a full game, great job!

Really cool game, well polished, good fun. Like it a lot! The music is kinda strange though, these random node jumps are throwing me off a lot (it's also way loud). Could also maybe turn down the inertia just a tinnnnny bit to make it feel just a littttttle bit snappier. Or maybe even lean into it and give really good control in lava but less so in air, as I think it's currently a little unintuitive that you're so rubbery in _lava_ (which is real freaking dense, after all). I don't know, maybe that wouldn't be fun. Either way, really neat game, good job!

Well if you ever decide to expand this and turn it into a commercial release you already have a fantastic name.

There's not a lot to say really. Extremely polished, very enjoyable experience. A straight up game.

Wow this is amazing.

Interesting jumping and moving mechanics

The game is very enjoyable, I bet It would be very fun to speedrun it. My only issue is the first level is a bit too hard, more than the first few levels

Submitted

It's too hard in my opinion but other than it's really well made.  The movement is fluid, graphics and sfx are nice. There are lots of levels. I don't really see how it fits the theme but it's a good little game on it's own. Good job

Great job ! Feels really polished and the base idea is really fun. A bit too unforgiving for my taste though, couldn't finish it, but I'm sure it will be many people's jam. (jam ? got it ?)

This is absolutely amazing! It reminds me of capturing Podoboos in Super Mario Odyssey, and how this was made in 48 hours is beyond me. Great job!

This game is amazing, Very good graphics, gameplay is fun. The only minor adjustment I would have made relates to the momentum of movement. For instance, when I take a long run, I find that my jumping distance remains relatively unaffected compared to when I don't build up that running momentum. If that would be fixed I even think this game could be selled on steam or such. anyway 10/10

This is such a good game ! The controls, the mechanics, the graphics … everything is just so well done :D

Definitely one of the best games this jam! The art is absolutely gorgeous, the levels are well designed, the idea is an amazing take on the theme, just all around a great game. My only note is that the controls can feel a little unprecise, but of course that takes a lot of fine tuning which is incredibly hard to do in 48h. I have no doubt this will make it to top 100!

I really liked the concept and the production is very clean, i think thant the Impossible Game vibe with physics is a nice idea. I'd love to see a little tweak though, if the avatar could bounce on walls for a few seconds while the lava cools down, then the avatar dies and starts the level again, something like that. it's such a nice job

Extremely solid in all departments! Nailed the game feel too!

Very obvious idea but extremely well executed, the graphics are incredible, the movement feels very fluid, the mechanic of jumping in and out of the lava is clever and overall the game is super well polished, only bit of criticism I have is that the level unlock is a little slow and I found myself pressing D to go to next level as it changed itself so I almost replayed level 1 countless times XD. Absolute gem :D

Good game, very good art and nice feeling control of character.

Feels super polished, and is really satisfying to play. I wish it was faster to move to the next level, but overall this was really well done; great work!
