Great music and art set the tone nicely. I like the gameplay, the controls are responsive and the puzzles are not too difficult but have enough challenge. Great job.
I only encounter 2 bugs 1. The dialogue which you are aware of 2.There is a bug where the white cat goes inside the floating platform.

I like that this game takes my full attention just to play it. The long level took me forever to get through.
Really really cool game! I played through the whole thing! When I realized there are two other games in the same vain I had to play those as well. Awesome job!
One small issue is that the joystick controls didn't work, so I had to play with the D-pad. Also resetting the game with the triggers and bumpers caused me to accidentally reset a couple of times. You could use the start and/or option buttons to restart
Robot Boi just explodes after talking to you! Poor Robot Boi...
This is my first Kit Twins game! Pretty good! Nice take on the theme and I like how you had a variety of mechanics as well throughout the whole thing. There were quite a few levels to get through too for a game jam game! Pretty good amount of content. Also the atmosphere with music and the clouds in the background were nice too.
It was a little glitchy though. I think I accidentally skipped some text in the beginning somehow as it sped through lightning fast. Also a couple times while the door was going down, when my cat collided with it the cat would be in like the jump state, but be unable to jump so I couldn't progress forward without restarting, which also meant restarting that puzzle. That was a bit annoying. Also there was one time where I clipped through the above area and almost made it in with the other cat! These glitches weren't too bad, I still finished the game alright!
Anyways overall good job on this! Very cool game!!
Adorable game and great music! I wanted it to keep going so I could play even more. Also I like how the cat goes down a pipe at the end lol.
Cool mechanics and I love that you were able to build off your entries from past years! Well done! I am also partial to cats so I may be slightly biased...
Very Cool. The dual character movement gives me big WaterGirl and FireBoy vibes.
Amazing art and sounds! a really cool idea too, a bit hard at start, but once you get the hang of if it really starts to flow. Nice job!
This a great entry with a great concept that has a lot of potential still.
I thought it was a bit strange that you could get stuck on the mirrored platform if it moved down too much, but then the last(?) level introduced the idea of using the moving platform and it all made sense. I wish that was developed a little further, that was my favourite part!
I don't know if you want to continue with this project, but here's some random thoughts and tips (maybe for other projects as well). Do with it what you will.
If you want to have downtime between the levels, consider having something to do for the player. Collecting e.g. coins, having visually interesting things (in the background), a little more involved platforming. Just pressing right on a blank background is a bit boring.
Why stop the player in their tracks to read multiple pages of text? Have it running at the top or whatever while we're in the chill sections. Lots of players just want to keep running. Also try to strip down unnecessary text ("you're trying to get to a campfire" is never really necessary, I'm just going to run right anyway!)
(sorry if it's too much lol, I really enjoyed playing through this!)
Thank you for your very detailed feedback and glad you enjoyed the game. I must say I agree with all of your critiques. I probably won't be doing anything else with this game, but plan on doing sequels to kit-twins every year for the GMTKJam for the foreseeable future. I really like the idea of having something low stakes for the player to do i.e. collectables like you said in the little chill sections between the puzzles and probably will do something like that on next years entry.
The game art is perfect the movement feels awesome and the idea was very well executed. I really liked the game and the puzzles were great too. The game was also very polished and the audio and music were great. Good job!
Very fun! Cute art and sound effects. Puzzles were fun and all enjoyable and the little low-stakes platforming sections between them were really nice. The music was also very relaxing and enjoyable. If I were to nitpick, I'd say the world could be decorated more. It felt a little barebones and some little bushes on the ground or fossils in the ground or something could make the world feel more realized and could also be a neat opportunity for sight-gags or easter-eggs. It's not a major complaint by any stretch of the imagination, though. All-in-all, this is a very solid entry and I had a lot of fun with it.
Good job and good luck with the jam results! :)
Thanks for your detailed feedback. Glad you appreciated the little low stakes area between. I thought it would be a nice break between puzzles. And I fully agree with your critique about stage decorations. I can for sure get a bit same-y seeing the same tile palette and background layers by the end of the level.
Some good puzzles in here for sure. Also the downtime between each puzzle is a nice touch
This game is super polished for a game jam!
I really like the iterative puzzles, the game is great and the difficulty increases logically.
Very fun! Well done!
This game is a really great interpretation of the theme! I like how complex controlling two characters with different controls is. This is a really solid game for a 48-hour jam. Great work!
