How does your game fit the theme?
Instead of being a player using a controller to play a game, you are a controller delivering the player's inputs to the game itself to keep it working and responsive.

This is soooooo nice! I loved it, especially the "paint" art style. Incredible work, good luck with the jam!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. Good luck with the jam results! :)
Really unique concept and nice to have some controller action in the game jam games!
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! Good luck with the jam results. :)
You too! ^^
I love the concept and execution of the game! Impressed that you managed to squeeze so many mini games into the one game during the jam! well done and the game is easy to pick up too. I will say that some activities take way longer than others but you still get the same damage amount, maybe for longer harder activities we could do a bit more damage. Overall, well done!
Thank you! There was a mini game using the shoulder/bumper buttons I had to cut due to time but I'm glad you thought what I was able to create was impressive. Because I play tested so much while making it, most of the mini games feel about equal to me, disregarding some balance issues. Would you mind telling me which ones you felt were longer and harder? I don't know if giving more damage will be the path I take since most of the enemies already have very little health, but I could definitely adjust those mini games post-jam or add a benefit like there being a small chance a health potion will spawn, which you could collect for +1 health.
Anyways, I'm glad you enjoyed it and good luck with the jam! :)
ost is divine wow had fun playing tnx
Thank you! The soundtrack was fun to make, especially the bit that made it change between mini games and the main part.
I'm glad you enjoyed and good luck with the jam! :)
A hidden gem. The soundtrack is great. The game is pretty fun and quite polished. I loved the adaptive soundtrack, very ambitious to do that for a game jam and it just works great. Shame it's not getting the full attention it deserves, but a fantastic entry.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Good luck on the jam results! :)
had a lot of fun with this one! Loved the theme implementation was really cool and the mini games were all fun and you had a unique art style. Always love the opportunity to play with a game pad on a jam game as well. Wish it was more commonplace. Well done!
Thank you for you kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Good luck with the jam results! :)
Now I can't say this was the easiest game since I only have a switch controller to use, but it was enjoyable once I figured out which buttons were which!
Haha yeah you bring up a good point. I didn't test with a switch controller but I wanna do that post-jam because I have one and it's kind of bizarre that I didn't think of using it while making this...
Thank you for playing and good luck with the jam! :)
This was a really fun game and great use of the controller! I also liked the art and animation. One thing I would have liked was to have the transitions between different scenarios to be much faster, though it did certainly increase tension a bit on what was coming next. Some minigames were a bit tough and for the lava one I didn't realize you could jump higher.
Thank you for playing! That's some good feedback. I started an update for after post-jam, and having adjustable animation speed and balancing the minigames are two things I plan to look at!
I'm glad you enjoyed and good luck on the results for your jam submission! You have a very solid game :)
This was really fun to play though. I like the mini-game approach you went with and the unique take on the theme. The 'A' mini game with the flashlight was probably my favorite. I thought that the text was a bit hard to read when it was describing how to play each game, but I mainly blame my eyes for that.
Thank you for playing! I'm currently making an update for after the jam's rating period is over to fix some issues people had, and your feedback is totally valid! I'll take a look at that and make sure it's easy to read.
I'm glad you enjoyed it and good luck with the jam! :)
I really enjoyed playing this even though I’m kind of bad at it!
The concept is really creative and each of the mini-games felt quite different, I found some of the difficulty scaling a little bit too tricky but I did manage to at least kill the goblin and died to the ghost!
I like that each mini-game was mapped to the different buttons and that completing the mini-games let you fight with the monsters :]
The art-style is really unique and charming!
Thank you! There isn't actually any difficulty scaling as the game goes on, the problem is that the RNG can make certain minigames a bit too difficult and some may naturally be harder than others. It's something that, after the rating period is over, I hope to balance a bit more haha.
Thank you for the kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Good luck with the jam, your game was great! :)
I was unable to play this game with an off-brand Xbox controller (The B-button minigame worked, but the D-pad did not register anything).
It's important to note that requiring any input device other than a keyboard and mouse is technically against the rules of this jam, as was stated when you signed up for it.
What I did see of your game looked pretty good, but I was unable to play very much of it.
I think I saw at the beginning, but didn't think about it too much because the original idea for my game would have been just mouse controls. By the time I was actually implementing this concept, it was the 2nd day and I had completely forgotten. I was still going to add keyboard controls, but didn't have time (and I pulled an all-nighter so if I had ample time I definitely would have, but I didn't know if exports would have malfunctioned and I didn't want to risk it).
I found out late yesterday because somebody was talking about it on the Discord and I'm really upset because I would have definitely made that a higher priority if I remembered. I worked every spare second I had on this and I'll be really upset if it gets disqualified. I guess the best I can do is hope I don't get removed and upload the updated version as soon as voting closes when I'm allowed to update it again. Sorry you couldn't play it. :(
Very funny game with so many cool minigames. Maybe some minigames might have been a bit too difficult. Loved the hand drawn art style! It's a shame that only gamepad support is available. Overall a good game, good job!
Thank you! I agree with both of your critiques! I'm already working on making an update (that I will only be able to upload after voting is over, of course) that will incorporate keyboard support. Wish I had the time to implement it beforehand.
Thank you and good luck with the jam! :)
I'm glad to hear that you're already working on an update. Best of luck with the rest of the jam, and I look forward to trying out the updated version! :)
It breaks my heart that people without easy access to a controller aren't going to get to play Input Received because this was an absolute gem! (I respect the dedication to player immersion though!) The entire concept is a great take on this jam's theme, the artwork and music being absolute standouts! (You nailed the warioware vibe)! You should be very proud of your work here, because it's absolutely kickass!
Thank you so much! I wish I had the time to add an alternate input method but I would have had to make alternate instruction pages and I just didn't have the time. It would be something to consider if I ever decide to update this game.
Thank you, and good luck on the jam results!
The style is great, I loved the transitions! Switching between mouse on menus and gamepad in gameplay is a bit awkward, maybe make all the menus usable with the pad? Very nice use of the theme
Thank you for playing! Having all of the menus be usable with the controller is a good idea! I thought it would take a while because I made a controller-accessible menu in another game beforehand and it took a while but I'm realizing now that the game over menu could have been a button press and the main menu could have had a pointer that could be controlled using the controller (although it may have been difficult to make the pointer cooperate with the sliders in the settings menu). If I ever update it, that's one thing I'll add.
Thank you for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Good luck with the jam :)
Really liked the hand drawn art style. It added a lot of character. Some of the mini games were pretty tough at first glance, but i did start to get the hang of them.
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it!
( Replaying your game is still on my to-do list, don't worry :) )

This is great! I really love the artstyle and the music, and the concept is really unique and well done. I did find that the X and A button games were a little too fast to react to sometimes, but other than that this was a really fun experience. Great job overall!
Thank you for playing! I agree, it's definitely a bit much. My hope was that it would balance out the times when those same minigames were a bit too slow, but I definitely did not find the sweet spot between those two and the extremes became a little too extreme. Very good feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed!
Cool use of the theme. Fun game, good job!
Thank you! Glad you liked it! :)
Very Cute game with cute artstyle!
As a piece of feedback, I think some of the minigames are a bit too difficult? specifically the bullet hell one with the analog stick.
If you can find the time, would you please check out our game as well?
Our twist of the theme is that a critic tries to play your unfinished game, and you fight from inside the computer to make him like it. Hope you'll like it!
Thank you for playing and for the feedback. The bullet hell one is easy to cheat if you make circles around the map but you're definitely right that it's too difficult when you play it properly which should definitely be fixed to give players the incentive to play it properly. If I ever update it, there would definitely be some balancing things I'd have to figure out.
I might not be able to get to your game immediately because I have some things to do today, but I'll add it to my "to-play" collection and get to it when I can.
Thank you for playing and good luck with the jam! :)
The music and the artstyle were very enjoyable, they have a very goofy yet somewhat relaxing vibe to them. Sadly, I didn't have an Xbox controller so trying to play the with a nintendo switch pro controller felt a little clunky since the controls didn't feel very responsive, although maybe it had something to do with my end and not the game itself. Overall, very nice.
Thank you! I'll eventually test with a switch controller. I imagine there might be drift, but I wouldn't expect unresponsiveness. It could be that, but I will say that the first time I tested the browser version I uploaded to Itch.io it felt a little unresponsive so it could potentially be itch.io's server or the way the engine I used exported HTML5 games. After, it worked fine though.
Regardless, I appreciate the feedback. Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it, and good luck with the jam. 👍
