Fun idea and cool graphics!

That was so charming! I went looking for other people who did kart games. I loved it! Great work

Very cool idea, good job!

Really nice concept and I enjoyed the game. Loved the art style, vehicle and character design as well. Maybe some background music would be nice. Also that 'revival by claw' when falling is super cool!

I very cool idea, a mix of old and new and I like your game's name as it resonates with my own

Great job! We made a very similar game. I felt that yours actually got the "racing" part in. The fact that there were bots to play against was really cool. The art style was great also!

Saw your review mentioning that we have a similar concept so I had to check it out. Really nice implementation. I find the controls to be quite intuitive and the graphics are lovely. However, it can be quite hard to see where you are going when moving down.  Overall really well done!

I really like the tilting mechanic, it's really cool. I ran into a bug where one of the platforms got stuck on the second level. The sound effect from bumping other cards was also a bit annoying at times. But overall a nice concept and fun to play!

Super creative game mechanic that fits the theme well! The controls take a bit of getting used too, but super fun! I like it that there are challenges along the way.. moving platforms, falling off, and flying over platforms. I absolutely adored the racer graphics, so cute! Well done on a fine fine game! :D

Fun game! I like the idea of tilting the track for a racing game. The only downside for me is the claw's getting in the way of the racing and the collision could be smaller on the cars, so it's easier to overtake. Great effort for the time though.

Excellent game! One of my favorites in the jam. I was pretty enthralled with the whole thing start to finish. My one suggestion is to tone down the collision on the claws entering the track. There were several times where I'd be cruising along and get absolutely blasted by a crane bringing another player back onto the track. I'm blown away you were able to get so many AI controlled racers in the game though. Seriously well done.

Tanks for playing and giving us some feedback. Totally agree with your suggestion, I experience it myself, but 48h !!

I LOVE IT! Such a brilliant idea to have to move the circuit to progress.

This is really well done ! Saw a couple other "you are the road" games but tilting it with the mouse is a very unique and interesting mechanic ! It's pretty hard to keep track of progress through the race though, and it seems that you can be first by just rolling in reverse, also both races that I tried ended without me completing them (but I was first at the time) so it felt pretty weird

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for playing, and your feedback !

Yes, there is a couple of bug, there is an issue on how the rank are computed by rolling in reverse near the start, but you can't win like this because as soon as you finish a lap the computation is good.

Don't know why but there ranking/timer Font does not work in fullscreen.

The race ends when the first 3 arrives, so if you were first, that 's another  bug   :s
I'm interested to know how it happens, I can't reproduce it !

Submitted

Hmmm I think I might have been confused and run and entire race backwards, with few cars forced to follow me due to the inclination of the board. That said I don't reproduce it anymore so I'm not sure what the hell I was doing back then ahah

Really liked the game. Looks like we had similar sort of ideas for the theme (completely different style and execution tho). The tilting adds a strategy aspect to it as well. You can't just think about controlling your cart, you have to be mindful of others as well. Really nice work :)

Thanks for playing, and your feedback.

I was hoping more strategy, and smarter opponent, but in this short amount of time, we are just happy we managed to publish it in time !

Remarkable game! Pretty cool idea and awesome visuals.
One thing thou, I got a somewhat impossible course to complete on my second try hehe.

Frog and toad books callback! I love the concept of moving the level for a racing game. The controls felt pretty intuitive, too. Impressive that all this artwork was made for the jam!

Okay, I really love the concept! It's instant fun :D

I'd just say on track 2, the moving part that also depend on our gravity is quite difficult to pass.

It's cute too :)

Submitted(+3)

One of the most funniest games with level control I've played on the jam!

Submitted(+2)

Great game, super unique and interesting with a hand drawn style I love. I would've liked to see what place I was while racing, but other than that everything was great!

Thank for playing and leaving a feedback.

Your should have your ranking on the bottom left of the screen.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

In fact, it's a bug with WEBGL version, when going to fullscreen ranking/timing disappear.

If it's a problem you can download the windows version.

Pretty cool!
