This was very cool! Always love the games where the main gimmick is that your main method of attack just so happens to be after you. Loved the whole old-school vibe the graphics had. Great entry!

Really great entry! I wasn't sure at first how the game fit the theme, but then I saw where it was going and it all clicked. That's clever! And it makes a really fun and challenging shooter arena too. I also loved the aesthetic, great mix between 80s visual and bizarre dream tone. It creates a cool universe, on top of being readable!

I always love a vaporwave themed game.
Game play is exciting and actually hit home in a personal way. 
It reminded me of our game for 2020 GMTK that didn't make the deadline.

Great submission! I never got on the leaderboard, but I had  a lot of fun  trying! The polish was nice, and the upgrades were all a really fun mix of making it easier to hit enemies, but also making it more difficult to dodge your own bullets.

The premise is wacky, and gameplay is great! There's a couple nice risk/reward mechanics that work in the games favor nicely like trying to get close to enemies to get the turret to hit them and also choosing how to upgrade your turret to deal enough damage to clear the enemies while still being able to maneuver through the onslaught of enemies and projectiles. 

i managed to get 9th on leaderboard after a bunch of tries xD

This is one of the cleverest entries I have tried yet. Amazing job! you deserve a top spot. Was that some juicy I-Frames I saw? Only thing I would do with more time on this game is add some juice! very fun and enjoyable. Scoreboard seems like the icing on top.

This is such a great idea for a game, the game-play loop is super unique but works really well. Also really surprised you had time to add a leader-board that is awesome!! Great work :)

Phenomenal!

There's a great game loop and presentation value here! The element of choice brings in a great sense of strategy and keeps the experience fresh upon replays.
I love this kind of gamey-ass game so you've definitely hit a sweet spot for me!

This game is reaaally good! Got a score of 196 so pretty happy with myself even tough I'm not in the top 10. The execution is good and the difficulty curve is great. But sometimes I don't know why my character don't seem to want to dodge when I tell him too.

196 is certainly pretty good already, it also took me a lot of retries to reach that score haha

Regarding the dodging, did you tried to dodge twice in a row or something? Because it actually has a small cooldown on the dodging to prevent players from abusing it.
