This platformer had a distinctive art style that gave it its own character. The level design offered nice variation and kept the gameplay interesting throughout. Shooting felt fun and satisfying, especially with the added reward of collecting extra cookies. Digging was a clever and enjoyable addition that added depth to the gameplay.
The stairs could be a bit tricky to navigate because of the strict positioning required, and the controls felt a little unconventional at times.
Overall, this was a creative and enjoyable experience with a lot of charm. Well done!
This was such a funny and creative premise. Playing as a rat sent to hell definitely stands out in the best way. I loved the art style, and the variety in enemies, rooms, and items kept things engaging throughout. The map was also really helpful and made navigating the game much easier.
I was a little unsure about where to go at the beginning, but I eventually figured it out. One small suggestion would be to include an enemy type that can be taken out in a single shot, just to add a bit more punch to the combat pacing. Also, the idea of akimbo guns could be a fun addition if you’re looking to expand the arsenal.
Overall, this was a unique and entertaining entry with a lot of charm. Great job.
This was a really charming stealth game with a lot of personality. I loved the raccoon character design and the animations. The level design was well thought out and everything felt like it naturally belonged in the environment. It was great to see platforming integrated in a way that didn’t feel forced or out of place, and the movement felt good overall.
I did run into a few camera issues, especially near surfaces where there were occasional lag spikes. It seemed to happen when objects turned transparent, which might be worth looking into. There were also moments when the vision cone appeared to go through walls, and I felt like I was detected unfairly in some spots. For example, hiding behind the cereal boxes above the fridge didn’t seem to offer protection, even though it looked like it should.
Overall, this was a creative and fun take on the stealth genre with a lot of polish. Great work :)
This was a really funny and unique concept. The idea of collecting cereal with a spoon was both clever and entertaining. The variety of cereals was impressive and kept things feeling fresh. I also appreciated the unique control scheme and the smooth UI animations, which added to the overall polish.
The numbers progression felt rewarding, and the addition of toys was a delightful touch that added more charm to the experience. I also got a kick out of feeling like I was eating the same cereal again and again. That repetition worked well in the context of the game.
A couple of small suggestions: having an option to bulk-select cereals for removal could streamline the experience, and being able to preview the value of a cereal before adding it might help with planning. A bit more visual feedback on the spoon’s travel direction would also help improve control clarity. At times, the spoon was a little hard to control, which made movement feel slightly tricky, but it didn’t take away from the fun.
Great job on a creative and enjoyable entry.
Thank you so much for playing and for the thoughtful feedback! <3
Audio is for sure a big miss for this game, I wish I had prioritized it higher but got stuck balancing and adding features 😅
As for the game loop I can definitely see that it gets bland and repetitive over time, perhaps we should have added additional aspects to the game over time and new things to manage. Might have been difficult within the time-frame though, but should definitely consider it if we to continue working on the game.
Thank you, once more, so much for playing and for giving feedback. It means a lot :)
Super clean, nicely animated, and pretty UI. It’s really easy to navigate and adds a lot to the overall experience.
The puzzle mechanics are clever with great variety, and I love how each level introduces new challenges. The creative level designs kept me engaged, and the sheer number of levels is impressive, especially considering the time frame!
The character art is also really nice and adds personality to the game.
Being able to undo as much as you like is a fantastic feature. It allowed me to try out different approaches quickly. One suggestion would be to add the ability to hold Z for multiple undoes in a row. It would make the process even smoother.
Great job overall! Really impressive work!
I had a blast playing your game! The cookie and the gun are such a fun combination, and the fact that the enemies are cakes is hilarious. Such a clever touch!
The variety of levels keeps things interesting, and it’s clear a lot of effort went into creating a fun experience. You did a great job overall!
One small suggestion would be to add some indicators for where off-screen enemies are. It could help with keeping track of things when they pop up unexpectedly.
Really awesome work! I can’t wait to see what you create next!
I really enjoyed playing your game! The animations are full of character, and they bring the whole game to life in such a charming way. The art is also lovely and adds a lot to the overall atmosphere.
The platforming is fun, but I did find the controls a bit frustrating at times. It would be great if the character came to an instant stop when releasing the movement input, and adding some coyote time could help smooth things out a bit.
Overall, it’s a really charming and enjoyable game with a lot of potential!
Clever idea! I really enjoyed the fast-paced platforming, and the controls were well-tuned, making the gameplay feel smooth and responsive.
The art is nice and adds a lot of charm to the game. The platforming mechanics are solid, and I had fun navigating through the level.
One thing that did get a bit annoying was the camera panning over the entire level every time you restart.
Overall, great job! It’s a fun and engaging game.
Perhaps time limits could be displayed and the player gets extra rewards or score multipliers for beating the game below certain time thresholds but they’re still able to keep playing if they miss it. That way they could play a few times to figure out the optimal routes and get better and better times each run 🤔
This game has so much style and character! The music is absolutely banging and really sets the tone. The UI is super clean, making everything easy to follow while staying sleek.
The gameplay is a lot of fun, and I really appreciate the varied and meaningful upgrades. I had to put some thought into each choice, which kept things engaging.
I felt like a real badass while playing, and the whole experience gave me major Hotline Miami vibes in the best way. It was fast-paced and so much fun.
The combo mechanic is a standout! It really pushed me to be more daring and made the game even more enjoyable.
Overall, great job! Keep it up!
I really enjoyed playing your game! The idea is clever, and the game loop is solid. The progression between levels keeps things interesting and adds a nice sense of challenge.
One thing that could improve the experience is having the camera set at a higher angle. That way, the character wouldn’t cover the number of adjacent boxes, making it easier to plan your moves.
Overall, great job! It’s a fun and engaging puzzle game!
This is such a quirky and fun game! I really like how you interpreted the theme. It’s creative and enjoyable to play.
The dances were hilarious! I couldn’t help but laugh every time they showed up. Definitely distracting but in a good way.
Overall, great job making something so fun and full of personality. Keep it up!
I had a lot of fun playing your game! The concept is really clever, and it was so enjoyable to have the freedom to think for myself in such an open-ended puzzle.
The art style is really nice, and the colors are vibrant and fun, adding to the overall charm. The controls are responsive and well implemented, making the gameplay smooth and enjoyable.
One suggestion I have is to remove the time limit and instead add a timer. That way, I could take my time to figure things out without feeling rushed or stressed.
Overall, this is a fantastic game with great ideas! Keep up the great work!
I had a great time playing your game! The art is super cute and really well done, creating a delightful atmosphere. I loved your creative take on the theme. It’s so charming and unique!
The dog is absolutely adorable, and I couldn’t help but smile at its every move. The gameplay was solid and fun, and it kept me engaged throughout.
Great job all around! Keep up the fantastic work!
I had a blast playing your game! The art style is wonderfully quirky and unique, with the flipping of sprites and the overall feel of everything being made from paper adding a lot of charm. The central mechanic is incredibly creative and refreshing, and it truly makes the game feel distinct.
The controls are responsive, smooth, and give a great sense of satisfaction while playing. I also really enjoyed the progression system, with interesting upgrades and meaningful choices to make that kept me engaged.
One thing I would suggest is adding a “confirm” button for the upgrade segment. At times, it felt a little unclear when the segment would end. I deleted a power-up with the intention of replacing it, but the segment ended right after, and I wasn’t able to assign a new power-up to that slot.
Overall, the game is a ton of fun and incredibly addictive! Keep up the great work. I can’t wait to see how it develops further!
I had a great time playing your game!
The UI and UX are really well done, with everything being easy to understand and navigate. The tower and character designs are fantastic, and I really enjoy how the towers rotate to face the enemies. The fast forward feature was also a great touch and helped speed up gameplay during tougher waves.
It would be great to have some more visual effects when enemies are hit, such as them flashing red or adding some VFX to make those moments feel more impactful. I also found that you could lose early on by spending all your cookies before the round had started.
An instant retry button would be a nice feature, making it easier to jump back into a new round without going through the start menu. I also accidentally placed a tower while interacting with the UI for accepting a challenge.
Lastly, I felt that the starting money was a bit generous, making it easier to place a lot of towers early on and not worry about enemies for a while. A bit more balance in this area could help make the early waves more engaging.
Overall, the game is a lot of fun, and with a few small adjustments, it could be even better. Great job and keep it up!
