It's interesting try and fail gameplay, however I feel there is too much downtime (or I played it wrong). Not sure what I am meant to do after creating my first movie and waiting for money to come in to hire another actor. I am also not sure if every movie has a "right" pick as my choices for parts never lined up with the type of movie I was trying to make. I did end up getting some good reviews textwise (Gluttonous Villain is a good choice for a Crime movie) however that movie still only scored 0 stars.
I ended up with a one star and 2 zero star movies which was kind of a bummer. Maybe I suck at the game though ;P

awesome game! I like the art and the gameplay is straightforward, challenging. keep it up!
I don't really know how these reviews work, but writing own stories as scripts sure is fun! And here's the money I get for now.

Really cool, liked the theme interpretation! Very clever with the hints in the reviews. Good work :)
I loved it, it was so fun to put see all my terrible movies being destroyed by the critics and yet be proud enough to hang them on the wall! Well done, I love the graphics and the gameplay the most, I had two runs and it I think it has the potential of expanding. Well done
Really interesting concept. I like where you can a hint on how to make a great movie. I don't like how you lose money until you get a review. Things that IMO is that it should pop the review process much faster. Also a hiring system where you can train your actor would be nice as well.
I enjoyed this and will play it again. I ended up about $14k in debt XD with 7 movies and 3 actors. I tried only writing sci fi, alas, i was never above a 2 star rating. Really enjoyed it and the music was fun. I also appreciated the parallax effect.
My only bug that i found was that when i wanted to selecte typewriter font i had to click off it and onto it again.
Hey man!
Really nice game overall. Good job!
I managed to make some cash making Crime movies in the beginning but after a while i was heading into bankruptcy! I ll probably come back to try it again.
The art style is amazing, really fitting the theme. I also liked the funny critics i got usually from people that didn’t understand my art! LOL
It is a genre i like playing and was well executed!
5/5 overall, one of the best games I've played this jam. That said I ended up $-2,200 in debt after 20 years >.< I was doing well making Horror movies (especially when they got on to DVD or post/film lol) but then I did a Crime film with 4 actors and effectively broke my bank. You get good marks for Gameplay here because this is very replayable - I'm having another go as soon as I finish this comment. Nice mellow audio and I love the artwork. Amazing work guys - well done.
I really liked this game! It was super fun and I had an endlessly good time coming up with worse and worse movie titles and giving them disgusting posters. I love this!!
Never have I had so much fun going into debt being a screenwriter.
And even though the critics gave "Casablanca 2: Rick on Mars" zero stars, I found it quite enjoyable and thought Mac did a fine job.
I like the game idea and mechanics. I want see this game in Steam!
You nailed the graphics and the audio complements it very well. Loved that cat belly expanding as he's breathing, it really helped cope with the harsh critics :P The progression was a little bit harsh, it's really hard to get the first few movies to work but overall it's a beautiful and soothing experience!
