WOW, THIS GAME IS SO MUCH FUN!!! This has been my favorite game that I've played so far! Super creative concept as well!
My singular issue with this game is that you can't go back after you start choosing categories of ads to send. If this is intentional, then fair enough because it definitely ups the difficulty.
The only thing that feels off with this game is the theme, if the AI was involved more somehow in the game that would help. Like maybe the AI highlights keywords for you if you click an "AI Help" button.
One small quality-of-life change would be to make it more clear when you perfectly send an ad or how much you screw up sending it. Maybe have it be very green if it's perfect, then yellow if mid, then red if bad. Also, the "time added" text being red made me feel like it was a bad thing since it was the same color as the time "speed up" text. Maybe change the "time added" text to a calming blue.
I'm obviously nitpicking, but that's just because your game is so good!! :)
REALLY addicting. Like Papers, Please style gameplay! I assume the "collaborate with AI" part is that you had your assets AI generated. Time crunch isn't good for fairly slow readers, though 😅
I like the concept and the execution. It's surprisingly polished and entertaining. The sounds and music are also on point. Great game all around!
Congratulations on your submission!
Super fun and challenging!! This is a very creative idea and is executed very well. I wish there were some more things people could like/dislike to create more variety, but otherwise I really enjoyed this. I managed to reach 68 ads :)
Simple, effective, and highly entertaining! I had fun with this, and wish that there was more content :]
Simple and nice idea, I wish there was a little more than 60 seconds because it was actually kinda fun sending ads haha. Really nice concept and execution of it!
really cool game! the idea fits the theme like a glove.
Also it was quite fun sending personal ads to those humans haha!
Great job!
This is probably one of the best and most creative games I've played so far in this jam. Love how you actually incorporated the AI into both the gameplay and also into the development. Visuals are great, game feels nice, fair and balanced, and it's really fun! Hope you get featured
Amazing visuals, fun gameplay, and great concept. I only found one problem, as with an ultrawide monitor, some of the stuff went off the screen, so the game didn't work perfectly on my computer, but other than that small thing, it was a great game!
81 seconds, 7 ads, 0 missplay :D
FEEDBACKS :
- sound mix is unbalanced (music too loud)
- text is maybe too big sometimes xD
- when you want to close the ads, it triggers the selection behind
- runs are too short :3
Really funny idea ♥
Thank you for all the feedback.
I agree with the soundmixing, didn't really think about it until after I submitted. I just liked the song so much lol
On some computers the text is super large, I even have it scale to screen-size but sometimes it just doesn't work.
Idk what was going on with the ads, they gave me so much trouble lol
When you send ads correctly you gain additional time, but it can be super hard for some
Thanks a ton for all the feedback! I'll keep it into account for my next game or maybe even this one if I update it
It's a really commun fact that as THE dev(s) we find our game easy but for other players, it's not. So we have to make sure the game is REALLY EASY. Especially because it's game jam and people want to have fun with the game without spending 10 minutes in a tutorial :)
Jonas Tyroller made a great video about game jam tips ♥
