Very well-made, nice concept. Loved the dice roll animations, very satisfying. Character art is out of this world

Character artist here — thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed the different expressions!

Amazing and super fun! I know it only has a limited amount of content because of the time limit, but if this had more you could actually sell this, it's so polished!

you know, I almost thought this wasn't apart of a game jam at first bcz of how polished it looked. Good job on the game!

This game is fantastic! As a big fan of RPGs I really enjoyed playing this one. My only suggestion would be to put some sort of limit on the negative debuffs because I feel like the final boss was pretty easy once I figured out the strat. Amazing work with the characters and the dialogue though, the pacing was good and the length felt just right for a game jam.

I have nothing but praise for this game.

No critiques, no grievances, no nothing. Only pure and unadulterated gushing for this game.

  • The gameplay has the kind of tactical depth that good RPGs on the market normally have.
  • The art is absolutely top notch.
  • The music & audio design fit the game most excellently.
  • And I almost forgot to mention the lovable characters, with quirky personalities!

This was done by one of the bigger teams of the jam, but their experience and chemistry really shows. This game was completely awesome, and one of my top entries.

Would you believe it’s the first time we all worked together, and (personally) it was my first game? As the art director & scenario planner I appreciate that you like the art and characters. Thank you so much, it means the world to all of us!

This is awesome! Really impressed with the entire package, great visual style, tight gameplay, cool 3D dice on 2D graphics. Just all around a well done game. Love the dialogue and the sounds effects to go with it!

I loooooved playing this game !! Remind me of the trouble of being a GM but also the fun of it 🔥🔥! The game art looks very fine and I'd love to see more of this game !

Amazing game. Although the game is played with a lot with dice, you still have a lot of control over how you fight. I like the different effects the dice do. But I would have liked to see which dice the enemie is rolling. So I can plan my next step better. I also love the dialogue system, it adds that extra polish.

The gameplay feels clean and fun. Really easy to understand and just start playing. The dialogues add a lot to the game. The sounds and particles feel really great. My only nitpick would be that I think the art of some elements don't really fit each other perfectly.

Loved the aesthetic style and the sense of humor! My main criticism would be the gameplay felt a bit weak and that the dice roll animation didn't seem to line up with the actual value. It is incredibly polished though and I would love to see it developed further!

Okay that was brilliant. Impressive amount of art and combination of story and gameplay, great job!

Really cool! The dice descriptor text was a little bit hard to read, but overall it was a very fun experience, the characters were charming, and the scene with the dog made me genuinely laugh! Great job!

One of my absolute favs so far. Turn based combat is a win, especially as well balanced as this, the custom art (and music) for the human characters, minifigs, and backgrounds is stellar, and Stewart is just. that's what it feels like to dm sometimes-  I feel like this encapsulated the mood of an average dnd game perfectly while also having, oddly, Paper Mario vibes (and I mean that as a tremendous complement.)
I did run into a potential bug with the DM's monsters where one died of poison, the other didn't get to take its move at all, and I suddenly acquired all dice at once. which! not complaining, but didn't seem intentional haha.

It took me  a hot minute to complete understand all of the mechanics but DAMN the art and the dialogue!! I found myself sticking around just for that alone. Overall a fun time! :D
