This game jam 2022 was very disappointing. If you look at such cool toys, this is not the first place and compare what we have in the leaders, then there are a lot of questions. I can imagine how much effort was invested in the game, you are cool!

One of the best "roll for reload/new weapon" I played this week, I really enjoyed how rolling was quick and didn't make you feel vulnerable! Very well done! The soundtrack was so cheerful and cute. I got a few points to mention:
- There were some serious hiccups when transitioning from wave to wave, perhaps the random algorithm?
- Maybe adding some more juice to hit enemies, or making a way to show the player that their health is low? Helps on choosing which to prey upon!
- The grenade launcher is a bit hard to figure where will the grenade explode.
Overall I had a blast, I just wish it was a little harder! Also, were the bullets ignoring height a by-design feature? At first it seemed odd but it grew on me! Congratulations on making such a fun game!

Binding the "roll for a new weapon" to an action you depend on (in this case "roll away from danger") is great! And the fact that both actions are called a "roll" is just added sugar. The presentation is also great. Good work!

The 3D animation on this one are crisp, wish the bullets looks 3D too, it was a bit difficult to gauge where the bullets are. But other than that, everything else feels and looks polished. Congrats on finishing the jam !

I have seen a lot of same mechanistic but your graphic and music are really nice, well done !!

I’ve seen a lot of these top down shooter style games, but none have had this many interesting mechanics nor as good visuals. This is an awesome game. Good job!

Might be the best looking game I've played yet  this jam. Really fun too. Things got hectic and cramped quick though

This game is just neat and great! There are many games that just made a weapon shifting idea, but they made the weapon shift over time , which is not good, but in this game, weapon shifting is controlled by player and this is just right. I was dead at wave9, there are too many bullets here and terrain here. The way of transition between wave is very unique, too.

The music was good and the art was great. The level design switching was super creative great idea!!!!!!!  Great Job!!! :D

Of all the shooters in the jam that had similar ideas, this one had the best execution I've seen so far.

The different weapons really force you to change up your strategy, and I like how rolling the die also serves as a dodge mechanic.

Presentation is great and the rolling world is just brilliant. Only thing that's missing is some sound for the enemies.

Really liked the style here and the way the level comes together with every wave was quite creative and refreshing.

At some point it gets quite overwhelming with the amount of bullets everywhere and it can get a little confusing where enemy bullets are in 3d space. I got some significant lag-spikes whenever a new wave was spawned which dampened my enjoyment a little bit but it was overall still very fun to play! Also enjoyed the variety of cool weapons a lot :)

Very nice game. Except for something that I think was a bug (sometimes my movement got slowed down for no apparent reason) it was very fun to play and well polished

Developer

Thank you for playing!

Weapons have thier own movement speed for balance reasons xD

this looks super solid! but on wave 2, it seems I was placed underneath the map? It was stuttering up until that point, so I wonder if it's a loading error on my end. But it looks great, and felt great before I went under the map, lol, despite potential bugs, good job!!!

I would give this game a 15 in presentation but im not allowed. Really really nice and consistent looking art-style. 2 minor issues maybe reduce the amount of obstacles, and make the bullets be real 3d object somehow so the hitboxes are more clear.

Played on the windows version and had a lot of fun. It did get repetitive on the second playthrough, but for a gamejam game it had a lot of variety and was really polished!

Need some optimization  and upgrades or more weapon because after discovering all weapons games get repetitive very fast. But overall its a nice game well done ^^

Submitted(+2)

Very well game! Needs some optimization but no problem for jam.

Nice game. Loved the art style and the mechanics are well polished

I love the level of polish here. My team had a similar take on the Dodge roll weapon swapping, but I love that you were able to get the top face of the die to consistently be the active weapon's face. I wasn't able to do that for my project so seeing it implemented well was really cool!
