That was such a creative way to interpret the theme! Wow srsly. I never had a tamagachi so sadly i don't know how realistic the game is. Really cool idea man GJ!

Nice game, i never had a tamagotchi, and didn't know how to make him grow, LOL. I like the mix of art, music and sounds it really gives the look and feel of a real tamagotchi, very retro! Good work!

Wow! This is a fantastic game and a really creative and unique interpretation of the theme. Big props to everyone involved! (I'd love to see this developed into a mini console)

I love the concept, it is such a creative take on the theme :) And it's a great idea that it is supposed to be a long term game and it totally makes me miss my old tamagotchis. The music choice was great too and I like how clever you've put the credits and options into the game. Overall you did a great job I will keep my tab open and see what the future holds for my little friend. Thank you very much for sharing your game :)

Thank you so much for the feedback! Be careful in the browser, if the screen isn't visible, I found Chrome would put the tab to sleep.

Thank you so much for the hint, luckily I use Firefox and had no problems :) I had a great time with your game and it's so sweet that you're asking, I got that strong and tough hero (I'm sorry I forgot the name). Awesome game, totally nailed the feel of a tamagotchi with its own unique spin. I didn't get far in the browser version. But since you pointed out there might be some trouble, I'm going to download and run the game in the background for a while at the lowest speed. Seems like a nice way to experience it :)

But from what I played on the browser, it's so dope! The concept and the execution, so good!

Unless it's something that appears late game and I haven't seen it yet. Something I think you should consider in an update is mini-games. On the old tamagotchis it had those 3 or something mini-games. They were simple, but it split up cycling through menus and just watching for me back in the day.

I could totally see some simple mini-games using the stats of your hero in some way, with highscores and rewards like special foods or something.

Great stuff overall, can't wait to see an update or a sequel or something!

I kept seeing your posts in the discord and was looking forward to this. I didn't expect the baby stage to take so long, but you got enough feedback on that! It's adorable. Makes me miss those old Tamagotchis!

Ninja :D I found the controls quite confusing in the beginning and would have liked keyboard controls after all the clicking. The music fits well and the art is nice, good job.

I agree, the controls are a bit confusing. I wish I hadn't gone with the Tamagotchi controls and had implemented Gameboy controls instead.

Got CREDIBLE BULK!

It's a fun idea that your tamagotchi mascot can grow into different heros depending on how you train it. Cute art. Baby stage was way too long (for a jam game), even at x16 speed. Training phase was a breeze compared to that, as there weren't any waiting.

I completely agree. The baby stage takes too long and is too confusing. The main issue is that the nutrition bar will go down if you over feed the baby. This is essentially the baby getting sick. I should have removed this for the game jam / made it more clear what was happening.

A good game! Sadly I am not the person to wait long for something to happen so I just go to the baby stage ;-;. But I can see what the game is! It's a very good idea and there's enough "Game Feel". The music is also good. The art is of course also good. It's a very good game.
