How did you/your team interpret the theme?
If you are not the hero you are something else in the game... Like a save crystal for example. And what would the brave Heroes really be without the hard work of memory managment behind the scenes?

How was your/your team's experience in this jam?
Very pleasent.

Love this one!
The music was an immediate hit for me and I love the concept of this game!

Very good concept, art could be better, but it's still nice! Overall good job!

I love the idea of playing a save crystal, but I have to agree it's also very easy to cheat and just write things down. I'm not sure how to really force a player to engage with the core concept of the mechanics except on the honor system. I really did feel compelled to cheat because having to scroll through and come up with my own memorization system on a board was very inefficient and slow compared to just writing it down. It's really cute, though, and I love your cover art!

I like the concept and the idea, i think there should be more use to the icons section, because it's easy to cheat outside the game and the note's side seems unrelated at all to the game. I really enjoyed the part of giving life and personality to an animated object as the crystal. Well done!

This is such a clever idea! I suspect you don't get to play as a save crystal in any of the other games

I love it , taking note with random picture to remember what items each hero had is great. I think the system could use a bit more refinement and it would be a wonderful game!

Wow that's so clever! good job

Clever concept, I really like this! However, I cannot personally get into this game. When I have to remember something or take notes, I'll just write it down or take a screenshot out of it. I guess that can be considered cheating, but nothing is stopping me from doing it here.

I would like if the memory board is part of game mechanic somehow. For example; You would have to link a word to a certain picture, and then link that picture to the item when load request comes. That way I would HAVE to use memory board, and not just cheat my way through it.

great concept and cool art.

nice game.

The concept is really cool! I found it very challenging and fun. Great job.

Ooh, the concept here's fantastic! Presentation's also really good, even though the connection lines showed up on the endscreen. I really love how there's only one mechanic in the whole game, the connection board, and that's technically not even tied to the game itself, it's just a fancy way to take notes.

Overall, the game's really good. It was fairly difficult, even after I switched to a strategy of using lookalike objects - mostly due to my poor memory and deleting things off the board after a load - but I still beat it in one try!

Thanks a lot for your kind words and good catch with the connection lines on the endscreen. This will be the first bug ticket for after the game jam.

Great idea, nice art and funny bits of story! I ran into a few issues with the controls (e.g. how to connect items with lines; I couldn’t connect the end of a line and had to restart), but a restart fixed that. For me, as a memory game noob, it would have been helpful to be able to reduce the number of items per hero and/or the number of pre and suffixes. But of course, settings like these are not really in scope for a 1-week submission. Very neat game, thank you!

The art is good. The concept is G R E A T! The game is generally great and I think you achieved your goal! A hard memory game! I am really bad at it so... well I can't get far. I don't get far at all I lose at the first thing. :/ But it's a great game!
