The pixel art is awesome, you have perfectly captured the style of the gameboy colour! The music is great too, that combination makes me feel super nostalgic :) Very well done, thanks for sharing your game :)

I'm glad you have enjoyed it, it will be released for GBC as soon as it's finished. Thank you for playing!

Very immersive. I don't even like this kind of games, but played for a while)

Thank you for playing!

Very good art and story, but there is too much dialogues at beginning...

Developer

I know, the fact is i wanted to mix visual novel with rpg features applied to GBC.
I will try to balance action and story on the next updates. Thank you for playing and for your comment.

This game is super cute and the dialogue is surprisingly immersive.
The art style was nostalgic for me and reminded me of "Startropics" on the original NES.

Great job, really did well on this!

Developer

I'm glad you have enjoyed the story and art, art is related to the limits of the GBC, i tried to set them my own style. Thank you for your comment and for playing.
Your entry is also really well done i hope you can fix the light issue on the browser version later on.

Wow! What a cool game. The art is fantastic and there is clearly a ton of thought and depth in the dialogue.  I'm very impressed with the game. I'll definitely be looking for updates :)

Developer

Thank you for playing ! I'm glad you have enjoyed the story and the art. I will update as soon as voting period is over and i hope to keep the same level. Good luck on your entry!

A lot of work has clearly gone into this so far! The sprites are really cute and I love the style! Since the game is so dialogue heavy and it's been entered into multiple jams, I suggest getting a second set of eyes to proofread the script. It's a little difficult to parse at times. I wish you luck while continuing to build the project!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for your feedback. I'll look for help to check if the story is understood and the jams are clear. Also i want to cut the size of text droped in each time, but i'm still thinking how to do it. Good luck to you too.

too much text... but that's okay it's just personal taste. overall a good game, interesting story and I like the GBC art style in this game.

good job, this game has a lot of potential.

Developer(+1)

Thank you, i wanted to mix the rpg thing with visual novel in minimalistic style. I am wondering how can i develop the story mixing it with action in order to make it less heavy texted. The game it's subject to GBC restrictions in all ways i'm glad you liked it.
Thank you for playing.

maybe using the "first gameplay and second story" system would be good, so when the game starts it goes straight into the gameplay instead of spamming the Z button. So the text is the same and doesn't decrease.

but again this is just a personal opinion, for the whole it's up to you because it's your game, I really appreciate your good work.

Thank you for your comments, it helps to find a balance. A developer that does not hear comments and critics hardly gets better. Good luck on your entry, it's wonderful!

The pixel art is awesome, the music is very cool, the story is well written and the overall presentation is top notch. Great job! I see a lot of effort behind the game. I hope you're going to push it further :)

Developer(+1)

I really am enjoying doing this and i want to work on it until finished, and maybe further. Thank you for your time playing and for your comments.

Awesome art style. I liked the sound as well.

The story is interesting but feels too much text from the beginning (or too many clicks to get through it).

Overall, it seems like an excellent foundation for the future game.

Developer

Thank you for your comment, i will check how to insert some action between the story in order to make it smoother.

Haha, I really like the story. The art is really good too. Good game! Hope I get to play more when the jam ends :)

Developer

Thank very much. I'll keep working on this and i hope i can mantain the same level of fun.
