How did you/your team interpret the theme?
We interpreted it pretty plainly as the game is about a monster trying to gain power to consume all

How was your/your team's experience in this jam?
We all worked together really well! Everything came together smoothly with little issue :D

I love the art and animations and the controls are great too! It is fun to dash through the water at high speed (way too often right into the enemies but that's how it is xD). Still I had a great experience! The music is a little gem too, it totally fits the setting and atmosphere. Overall very well done, thanks for sharing your game :)

Thank you so much for your review!! :D I hope you try out the game once we release some updates ^-^

A different gameplay from the others and fun, the graphics are nice even if the UI is a bit messed up, the controls are made quite well sometimes I struggled to manage chtulu.

if you like you can try our game and leave a review

Developer

Thank you! I'm sorry the UI messed up for you! Hopefully the updated versions won't have this problem!

The game is great but it's really hard, a bit too much Jellyfish for my taste, otherwise great work.

Developer

I did go a bit ham with the jellyfish! Thank you! :D

Very good concept for the game, and really nice art! I would like to see it as more extensive!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much!  We're planning on continuing with it and making it more extensive for sure :D  Stay tuned!

I love the speed! It feels like an old school arcade game, and my toddler wouldn't stop playing it. He liked that kathulu was eating fish, and he was also eating goldfish crackers. Sorry, but you made a hero.

Developer

Oh my god that's so adorable!! We have plans on continuing the game so there will be lots more to play, also I'll recommend taking a look at Ecco the dolphin the game that inspired this one <3 <3 :D

That's so cute 😭. Thank you so much.

Developer(+1)

That's the thing we want to hear!! :D  Thank you so much!  Lil'Thulu, accidental hero xD

Nicely done! I'm especially impressed with how much content was added, not something you see often in a gamejam game.

Developer

Thank you! It was a lot of work but we all came together and got it done :D

Lil'thulu is very cute!

Nice job! The art looks great and the controls are intuitive. Though, you get going *REALLY* fast and it is hard to avoid some of the enemies.

I'd love to play a more fleshed out version. The potential here for some really cool animations is great.

Nice work!

Developer

Thank you! :D
We plan on continuing the game so feel free to follow us for more updates~
