Nice cocnept, and very good art!
Nice art concept, just a small nitpick- the boxing glove felt really jerky when it hit the hero.
Fair enough - with the time restraints it was tricky to get stuff polished but we'll take it into account. Thanks for the kind words!
really good presentation and fun game.
Definitely fun and like the presentation as well. Good little bit of puzzling. Reminded me a little bit of Lemmings.
I was going through the games cause I had a free night and wanted to rate some of them, and I was like going throught them for 10/20 minutes each... I was enchanted by yours... I think I played it for almost 40 minutes... beautiful game.. really well made...
If I must say something that you could upgrade.. i think that when you saw that your solution was wrong, when you select the restart button, you go back to how you placed all the blocks and not to the beginning of the level, cause that thing took me at least 10 minutes in some of the levels haha
Anyway, this is one of the best one I've played so far in this Jam!
Fantastic game!
I love how you broke the world into those 9 tiles. Made it so much easier to manuever.
I'm not sure how simple/complicated the solutions are supposed to be though! I spent a good 10 minutes rearranging an entire level block by block so I could easily grab both keys and drop down, and then on the next level I was able to instantly beat it by shuffling the middle column down twice!
It feels like this game has a lot of intended solutions, and a lot more unintended solutions. One way to resolve that would maybe be: give the player a limited amount of shuffles? Because I could theoretically shuffle things infinitely until the level is what I wanted. That + I would often mess up the level beyond repair, and spend more time trying to fix my mistake rather than restarting.
But overall this game is really superb. The art is great, the music is good - not much more to say but well done!
Wow! This game is gorgeous, the audio is perfect, and the controls are solid. What else could you ask for? Well... MORE! I'd absolutely love to see this developed into a full game. Nice job!
Thank you so much for the feedback! - we're planning on adding some more features and levels which we couldn't cram in there in time soon (:
I love this! The little bouncy animation on Gogo is adorable! I have nothing to critique here, I genuinely want more of this!
Hardly passed first level. Second is even harder..
Despite very good idea, hero start button unnoticeable, what made me stuck at beginning
I'm sorry that you found it difficult, we haven't experienced a problem w/ the visibility of the play button so far, but it would have made sense to highlight it more evidently in hindsight.
Very clever level designs and gameplay. Art design and sfx pretty, too.
A really creative game and pretty challenging to play, but fun! The artwork is brilliant. An amazing achievement in such a short time - well done guys!
Very cool idea! With some great art to go along with it!
I think that the tile moving is almost too flexible, to where you can edit a level a lot. I had some levels where I was able to avoid the (probably) intended solution, and could just make a simple line path to the chest. Although, this is a pretty unique thing to have, as not many puzzle games let you be this controlling of a level.
I think having it be a more grid locked system, where everything within a grid moves as a whole, would let you get more interesting levels, since you can have more intended solutions.
Overall, a nice game!
Thanks for your feedback! We intended the tile movement to be fairly flexible, since trying to manipulate one area can mess up another. However, there are a few levels with easy solutions (especially towards the beginning). We'll try and adjust this in future updates (:
Wow, now this is REALLY impresive! Everything looks so great! The music, the pixel art and the whole game idea is soo cool! I can't believe this has been done in 1 week.
Very cool. Loved the music. I love pixel art so that's not a hard box to tick.
Losing your progress when hitting restart is not cool, but that feature probably didn't make it in because of time.
But in any case, losing progress is annoying and should be avoided
I'm with you on that- we wanted to restore progress, but (as you suspected) we ran out of time. We'll try to amend this in a future update. Thanks for the kind words and great job on your submission too
Our games are very similar in idea. I like the mechanics of the game very much. In addition, the levels are also very well designed.
Well done!
This is a really cool idea! I enjoyed playing it. Great game!
