Really like the aesthetics here. And the decision to make the rooms rotatable is certainly interesting, I haven't seen top-down games do that before!

Interesting game. Nicely balanced the ammo and hp. Every time I got low I found enough loot to fill me up again. The enemys where sometimes a bit overwhelming and can drain the hp extremely fast when there is nothing to hide. Sound effects felt a bit repetivie. But overall was fun! Good job.

At last I see sg, I wanted to realize in a serious game.  It works fine

This reminded me quite a bit of teleglitch! I really liked how the neon theme was an actual part of the gameplay design!

It's weird, I felt that it really should be fun according to all game design rules, but it just wasn't. It was really strange to point the cursor at enemies - for me, the standard fixed-position-camera point-at-enemies type of system works better. I felt like the player's movement speed was too slow or the enemies' shooting speed was too fast. I cannot quite put my finger on it, but it didn't feel right.

this is so interesting,  love the aesthetic. death came for me swiftly. :)

It's funny that the game has several types of weapons with different mechanics. The music is very driving!

However, there are things in the game that are not entirely obvious. For example, I didn't immediately realize that the square plates were armor, or that I had a melee weapon. I also did not realize that there are zones that damage you, but you can walk on them.

Anyway, the game is really good!

Solid game. Love the whole aesthetic, and the background being used to block line of sights is really neat! The rotating camera is pretty unique, and the shotgun is really fun to use! Even though I got lost a couple times, I seemed to be able to able to backtrack very quickly, so I didn't mind. I'd personally like an invibility timer so I don't take a bunch of damage all at once, and maybe more telegraphed attacks from the starter enemies so that it feels fair when I take damage. But very cool, very fun, and a very nice job!

This was difficult, but very fun!! I died a lot xD

I like your take on the neon theme. When I think of neon I also think of bright colors. It's been interesting to see everyone's unique take on the theme.

Great Jam!!

This really reminded me of playing classic DOOM in Map Mode :) The game plays and looks tight, although the graphics were a little too small for me on the screen. Even in full screen. The visual gimmick is quite original. Rated!

An interesting shooter. But the controls seemed inconvenient to me, I want to enter the mouse, and not only turn it (more familiar for top-down shooters), as such turns of the camera interfere with focusing on the target. The walls that are in the room, but you cannot go through them, but you can shoot, are also confusing at first, since you believe that this is an obstacle behind which you can hide. It looks and sounds interesting, but, unfortunately, for me, the control spoils the impression. Good luck in development, if planned =)

Controlling is a new experience, as is the way the game is viewed. I will work on it. Thank you for your feedback.

Great Concept! Haven't seen that many top-down shooters like this.

Great fun! - intense top-down shooter and cool line of sight mechanic, with a retro vibe! - enjoyed this a lot... :D

PS - is it me, or can the enemies 'jump' forward when I'm not watching them? - ie. one's at the far end of a room, but peeking at him again he's on top of me! - maybe it's just me, and I'm just getting older and slower!  :D

Thank you!

Nice visuals and an interesting way to reveal the map with that sort of "fog of war" mechanic. It both adds and takes away from the experience - because it's super cool to look at but turning the whole camera with the mouse doesn't feel as smooth and easy as it could do.

Good sound design and nice effects for the glowing blood splatter and the particle-like bullets. A good entry.

Cool top down action game with solid level design. Visuals reminds me of Teleglitch a little bit. With some tweaks and more levels Quickn has a potential to be something more than a game jam project.

Super intense game, and very fun! Visual attracts with its unusual implementation. Good job!

Very, very klass!

Very very indeed.

Very juicy game. Lots of action going on. enjoyed the feeling of the impact of shooting enemies and watching them turn to pink blobs. Though the juiciness adds a lot, I'd say it could be toned down a little. The camera movement is creative but as it moves so much, coupled with some of the cool effects, it makes it a little hard to tell what is going on. It's a very stylish game! Visuals were very impressive.

Thank you for the feedback! This might get more dev time and released in a store.

Very cool idea for moving the level based on your mouse, lots of potential here! Other than the general jankiness of the camera movement it had some solid gameplay! Excited to see where this game could lead to. Visuals and Audio are also great!
