How does your game fit the theme?
Triad's Tomb is about an ancient sword and shield, two complimenting sides of justice, brought together by an ancient hero to destroy evil. Now they've been found by a teenage girl, and the three grow closer together over the course of their adventure. For the gameplay, each character has their own card deck that synergizes with the others; for example, some cards from one deck deal with status effects inflicted by other decks. It's a team effort to fell your foes.

Unique interpretation of the theme! Needs a bit more polish and better UI, but overall the presentation was pretty good. Great work

I really liked the aesthetic of your game but there were some issues with the combat. I often tried to drag healing card onto allies instead of the enemy. Also, I couldn't see their actual hp until they took enough damage. Other than that though, the game was an enjoyable experience.

Great presentation and +1 for the visual novel style dialogue.

Would have liked to have more information during combat. I had trouble telling who's turn it was or how much AP I had. Also didn't manage to figure out how the bleeding effect is visualised.

The perspective of the camera was a bit unusual at first, but once I got used to it, it was a really fresh take on the card game genre.

That's a really unique take on the theme, I love the idea. I definitely think there's a lot of potential in it, if you get some more time to polish it up. Things like more clarity of what's happening, enemy health, UI animations would make the experience a lot more smooth. Overall very nicely done, would love to see what you can make from this going forward.

Thanks for playing! We definitely struggled with the user experience and ran out of time before we could polish it up.  We are working on a new build to post after the jam to address those issues.

Haha - some great writing there :D And the drawing was really on-point :)

Mechanically it was really balanced, and I felt like my choice of cards was important to winning.

If you were going to develop it further, a bit more polish on the UX would be appreciated; having to drag cards to the enemy that heal your players, for example, is a bit unintuitive. But 48 hours is a short time, and I worked it out, so :)

Absolutely agreed on that last point; we struggled a lot with the targeting system. Luckily we already have a new build where you can drag cards to your allies that we'll post after the jam.

I feel like it's a bit of a stretch to say this game fits the theme, but it's fun to play.

Part of our original concept was that allies' cards could be combined before playing, but this turned out to be wildly out of the scope for 48 hours. Glad you had fun, though!

Great art, very interesting concept and execution. Wish it was longer and would love to play more tbh. Keep on working on it!

Unexpected to see a card game here, but definitely very enjoyable. I really liked the game, the mechanics are pretty clear.

a genuinly fun mini card game, the writing really work well especially for a short experience.

It felt a little light on meeting the theme and could have used a little feedback (seeing dam numbers on screen)

but over all a super great entry which put a smile on my face

I love card games, and I love how much you were able to present within 48 hours! I wish I could see this game expanded in the future, especially since I like the art direction. The writing is also on point, which is actually fairly uncommon for a game jam. Nice work!

This is a good game for 48 hours! Nice art and the card play worked well.

The game was all well-rounded. From the extremely adorable, funny cast of characters(my favorite Blood Avow). I had a blast coming up with tactics   to defeat the enemies using the well-designed cards. This is one of my most favorite games I have played XD

Now, I was enjoying the card play enough, but the story and the graphics and the music and the whole presentation, it was great, funny as heck! I loved it!
