The controls felt a little strange at first, I kept forgetting which character I was in control of. But once I got the hang of it, it felt satisfying to slingshot the slimes over obstacles! The physics of it seemed really cool. Good job!

Thank you, glad to hear it felt satisfying after mastering the controls :)

Very fun to play, and very good concept.

Developer

Thank you!

Nice idea, but I think that if you polished the physics a little bit, it would be even better! Good job!

Developer

Thank you!

This is really polished imo and also I like the old tv filter.

Developer

Thank you so much!!!

The spring is really fun to play around with

Thanks, glad you had some fun!

Good game.

I agree with some of the comments below.

I would be very happy if you would play my game.

Great Game I enjoyed it!

Developer

We're glad :)

Really unique idea, I enjoyed it although there were definitely parts that were frustratingly hard. Great job!

Developer

Thank you!

Cool idea and I really like the coil mechanic but it can be a little tricky at times

Hey! Absolutelly loved this game, I only have a few tweaks / suggestions that I would make.

The locking mechanic was slightly annoying, it's essetial but the way it functioned was annoying. I think maybe by just moving the character with the arrow keys it should unlock it.

Also having some kind of visual clue telling the player if the avatar is locked or not.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback! These are great ideas but I couldn't implement them due to time constraints.  But I never thought of making changing the way the locking mechanics worked so thanks for the great suggestion! Glad you loved it anyways <3

This game is amazing! I absolutely love the concept and the main mechanic, and the whole game has a super cute and fun vibe to it that I really enjoyed.
Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the core mechanic and its execution! Happy to see we were able to create the vibe you were looking for :)

Having a spring between characters is an interesting idea!

It's a cool idea, although the controls and the movement are a little strange. Really liked the visuals!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! The credit for the visuals goes to my teammate PaperBarber

Pretty fun physics for one of the games in this jam that're two characters tied together.  Nicely polished.

Developer

Thank you, it's great to see you enjoyed it so much!

Very well polished! After getting used to the controls, it was good fun. I liked setting up my slimes to launch them as far as I can!

Developer

I'm glad you had some fun! That's exactly what I was going for in fact, a bit easy to learn but difficult to master. Thanks for recognizing the polish too as not many people notice it <3

P.S. There is an easter egg at the very start if you would like to push your skill with the controls to the limit ;)

Great concept and great presentation. However the springs physics and the awkward controls can make this a bit uncomfortable to play. Still, it's a great concept and just a few tweaks could do wonders to improve the game.

Developer

Thank you!

A well executed take on the "connected characters" idea. I thought that you explored a few different ways of using the spring well, like building up energy in the spring and using it to swing. The checkpoint system was frustrating; perhaps it should have saved the last position where both were fixed and used that, with "R" used to reset the current section if a mistake is made? I also think using "S" as the button to affix the slimes instead of Shift would have made it easier. Otherwise a great entry!

Developer

Thank you for your constructive feedback! I've noticed the checkpoint issue too but sadly with too little time to fix it :/. Glad you liked it overall though :)

I did think it was interesting, but I kept wanting it to behave like a Slinky XD
The way I ended up playing it went something like stretch as far/high up as possible, then freeze.  Switch.  Repeat.  It wasn't really very fun, but I couldn't really advance any other way.  The freeze mechanic does allow you to anchor so that you can actually move the other end, but the result felt very unnatural for a spring.
Goodness, sorry to sound so harsh T_T  Maybe if the physics allowed for more predictable spring-like movement / torque, or without changing that maybe even changing the graphic to a bungee cord so it didn't come across with the affordance "I will behave like a spring", that would end up setting expectations differently so it'd be easier to appreciate the freeze/jump.
I did have fun trying it out for a bit, so thank you for making it!!  Cheers.

Developer(+1)

No, no it's okay I totally get it; I'm glad you at least had some fun :) In fact, I didn't want to make it easier exactly because of the reason you mentioned. But in an effort to make it behave like a real spring, I actually used the real spring formula so I'm just as confused as to why it feels a little unnatural at times :D Thank you so much for your feedback though, will make sure to take it into consideration next time <3

Interesting concept, but the sliding makes it a little too difficult to control, like I wish there'd be some friction on the ground as opposed to when you're floating around in air.

Developer

Hmm, I decreased the friction by quite a bit otherwise the spring wouldn't behave normally. But I see your point, will try to make it at the very least a little more responsive next time. Thanks for the feedback!!
