This is one of the more unique and interesting game mechanics I have found in a long time and in this jam. I really love how the overlap works together even if it is slightly buggy (but forgivable since gamejam).
One of the thing I would really love to seen added are area zones in highlight/particle effect. This would make it more visible to where the movement zones can move.
This was brilliant!!!! You could continue with this and do a lot of crazy stuff ^_^ It was an extremely fun mechanic. I'd love to see it go further.
I don't really know what to say about it. If I wanted to be picky, a couple of the death messages veered a bit too far to the mean side of the snark-o-meter (for instance I would think this would be a great puzzler for any age but if a little kid got some of those messages it would be sad)
But I vastly enjoyed both game and concept, it is amazing!!!! Thank you for making this ^_^
Really cool mechanic! I'd love to see more variations than just copying walls, like using the guns to shoot at buttons, for example. There are tons of places you could go with this concept. The graphics and music were alright. The death sound was very loud for me though.
Super original idea. It was an interesting mechanic with just enough fuzziness around solutions to make the player feel clever.
I feel like I could have done with more opportunities to help reinforce some of the concepts before progressing, but that's a lot to ask for in a jam ;)
Nice work!
Now this is an original take on the theme. Super cool idea. I like the pixel art, too. I think the clarity of the puzzles suffers a little with the reduced alpha, especially in the later levels. If the reflected terrain was a different color, that might help? I'd love to see what you can do with this idea given more time. There's clearly a lot of room for puzzle making.
Well done, good job!
absolutely amazing, I saw this game on yesterday's stream and was super impressed by the concept! visuals are a bit rough but I'm still giving it 5 stars in all categories, this game SHOULD be in top 100. it's just criminally underviewed!
Really really unique and creative puzzle mechanic, I love it. The levels were great and challenging and I think the mechanic has potential for a lot more.
One thing though, it was strange that the moving block was slower than my mouse which made the positioning a bit awkward.
Nice work!
Very good! The level with the two colored buttons was quite confusing. Great work.
Such an original puzzle mechanic! I don't think I've ever seen anything like this. TOP MARKS!
I guess my only feedback would be that I felt like I was alternating between moving the wizard and space, and I acknowledge there might be pathways missing in my brain, but maybe encouraging a more dual movement would have been great. Having the exchange be slightly more dynamic would take it to the next level.
This is so amazing! Such a great idea with amazing puzzles, great graphics. You should definitely make more levels and turn this into a full game. Thank you for making this.
Probably the most brilliant mechanic I've seen from this jam! Excellent puzzle design as well! You should definitely pursue this idea further, it is really good! Only criticism I really have is sliding the boxes feels a bit bad (at least in browser), but this idea is so good, I don't even mind!
Would love to see more levels of this! Extremely clever puzzle mechanic, completely in love with this.
