This was a fun puzzle game! I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The core mechanic is great and lends itself to a variety of puzzles. I giggled with delight the first time I started moving around as a headless body and hat.

For the most part, the level design and pacing is well done. The new mechanics (hay bales, teleporters) are introduced at good times to keep things fresh, and you get good mileage out of each concept. I particularly liked how I had to have a certain shape in order to use the teleporters. There were only two levels I didn't like as much:

  •  I personally think the first level that uses stacking is harder than the following level.
  • The last level looks messy with the huge number of teleporters. Adding more space could help with this.

The visual design of the character and individual elements is nice, however the scaling feels off. On the first level, I was confused why I couldn't continue walking upward, because the shape and scale of the trees didn't suggest to me that they would block my hat. I actually thought I was running into an invisible wall at first!

The input feels slow and sometimes unresponsive.

The in-game tutorial text is clear in meaning, but needs polishing in terms of appearance. A better font and a background would be great.

The music contains good ideas and matches the wizard theme, but it's too repetitious. I don't think you can get around just simply writing more music, but I have one idea that will help. Right now, the loudest sound is the bell. The problem is, it's the most constant and repetitive, and therefore boring part. By comparison, the melody (changing, interesting) is almost too quiet to hear. If you switch these two volumes around it'll instantly sound cleaner and players can listen longer before getting annoyed.

Overall a cute, fun game only in need of a few bits of polish!

Hey Tipu, thanks for playing my game on stream yesterday. Here is my feedback to you: Great idea for a puzzle game, a very nice extension of Sokoban. The sound gets a little annoying, I would tone it down or use a more pleasant sound.

Regarding the mechanics, it was not clear to me that boxes vanish when you move one into the other? Why should they? Everything else was self explanatory. It is not a big deal, though, was easy enough to find it out.

All in all: well done, I had fun and I played it through to the end.

they kind of stack/goes on another hay bal. yeah its little bit unclear.

thx for playing

Aah, this makes sense. I would just add some visual for stacked hay balls, then it should be clear enough.

Very entertaining! Love the unique concept here.

Really cool sokoban style game! Love the game play and can see you extending it further. Great job!

Hey! Great game, I was able to finish the game and I enjoyed finishing it very much! Clever puzzles, most of them really easy, but that's a plus for a jam game, some of them a little trickier. My ONLY complaint would be that one cactus is hidden inside of hay stack in one of the levels, so player almost has to fail to progress... wait? is that it? maybe that means it just fits the topic well? Well jokes aside, I still have to say that it's not a good puzzle design for one of the elements to be hidden like that. That being said, as I already noted this is my ONLY complaint.
The game is very clever, has simple easy to understand controls, visuals, and some quite satysfing sounds. Also gives me some nostalgia for simmilar 2D puzzle games.
Great job! I'm happy I found this one (thanks to Vykri's list :))

And "second button to make the menu look more professional" XDD I feel you! +1 for that, sooo relatable for a jam game. Will you be mad if I steal that idea for future jams :P? maybe not 1-1 and I can give you credit for it, but I just so liked it so much :D

i mean, i dont think i can make copyrights claim for menu button:D Feel free to use it then.

Thx for feedback

Ayy, beat this one. Really loved the multiple body parts mechanic. Has a lot of potential for interesting puzzles. Has a nice progression of introducing new mechanics and never gets stale. The hale bale mechanic is a bit odd, maybe it'd be easier to understand if the hay bale sprite changed depending on how many are stacked? Either way, really enjoyed this game. Fits the theme really well and does something I've never seen before in a puzzle game. Great job!

wanna hear secret?

haybale stack was first a bug that my coding skills werent able to fix and we were just like "its mechanic now"

Oooh, scandalous. Classic "it's not a bug, it's a feature" haha.

I added your game to my list of favorites from the jam here. Check it out if you want to try some other great games!

Very cool! The puzzles took some time to figure out, but it was well worth it.

Woo, I beat it! I'm impressed with how many levels you made, and I really like the difficulty curve.

You took the time to make multiple levels, interesting mechanics, a menu, sounds and sound effects... this is great. Not a lot of people can pull that off in a game jam.

That said, I felt like the music worked but the sound effects were a little off putting/non-compatible with the music and visuals. They were kind of retro/digital sound effects, but the game is hand drawn looking/not an arcade style game or retro pixel art.

Very cool! Those puzzles are real brainers, took me some time to solve them all. I loved this, great work!

This has so much potential! Reminded me a little of playing Baba Is You. Great job!

Very well made, simple yet engaging

The last level was kind of confusing but overall it was great

One of the most creative I've played yet, nicely done!

Really neat concept! The level design kept me interested and the introduction of the teleport mechanic was well implemented. Great job overall!

I like this game. Played through till the end.  The shadow teleport took the game to a whole new level. Very creative. I believe this can be made into a full game.

Cool take on the topic for sure, you came up with a game system that makes for some very fun puzzles!
