Very cool interpretation of the theme and great visuals and atmosphere.

Thanks for the review and good job in protecting our precious Godot. I think comical results are really part of the fun with physics based games, so I would say this is intended. For level design I already thought about having a level where building a shelter for Godot would be the intended solution, kind of literally thinking out of (your) box :-)

Sure, its all yours, you are welcome :-)

Yes, the “game” really needs a little more info. WASD (or arrows) + E (grab) + R (rotate) for others who struggle with the keyboard. And you need the fruit before you can carry stuff!

Anyway, I don’t understand your suggestion. Mouse as touch is enabled, so you can click on the controller buttons to control the character. But this is quite tedious. Further touch control is not available, even with touch screen. A touch screen would also not be retro like ;-)

Most creative solution so far :-D

Wow, very fun to play, but it took me some time, too, to understand how the controls actually work. Here my summary for fellow raters: So left click is for left hand, right is for right hand and if you accidently took something, you have to put it back where it came from. Start with cleaning, keep the fire going, add all ingredients in the right order (including stirring) and finally get a bottle and use it before the fire gets out.

Cool game and super hard - obviously I don’t have multitasking abilities… Independent hand movement and remembering stuff, come on… ;-) Art and music fit very well, a great little jam contribution, well done!

A very fun little game. The controls could be improved, it is very hard to control the truck, a little more forgiving mechanics would be more satisfying. I really like the trade off between slow and safe driving and taking more risks. Audio is missing and just a little more polish would make this really awesome. Keep up the good work!

Please, I want to die! Is it actually possible to die? Anyway, very good game play, most must-haves for this kind of games are there and well executed. Regarding the missing full screen: just check the “Add Fullscreen Button” option on the game page settings, then Itch will add an overlay button that should work (and page updates are allowed during voting).

Oh, I got it now and finally made it to the jump and run part! :-)

Well done! This is actually fun to play and surprisingly well balanced. First I thought that the limited fruits would make it extremely hard, but then I solved it two times. I wonder why this is - besides of course me being a genius ;-)? It seems that there are never multiple fruits of the same kind in a recipe, this makes it much easier than the original Mastermind, plus that you get to know at which position the correct fruit is (not just number of correct fruits).

Get in line with the lawyers from Merriam-Webster, where I literally stole the title from looking up possible meanings of brewing :-D

I hope, I find the time to expand on this, too. Physics games are tricky. I actually chose it to avoid a lot of programming as I knew I would not have much time. But in the end, balancing and fiddling around with the physics engine (not to say: fighting with it…) took much longer than hoped for, too.

It looks intrigueing, unfortunately I could not figure out how the controls work. I clicked on a lot of things and used the mouse wheel, but besides taking the tools, nothing happened :-(

Thanks! In the end I had only 24 hours left on the weekend for the development, but I certainly hope I find the time to create new levels and work on the balancing.

Hey, fellow storm brewer here. I like your game a lot, the controls of the boat around the whirl pool are quite satisfying. Some more information about the game progression or some kind of tutorial would be great for a post jam version.

Only a Windows build? :-(

Clean and polished, well done! I think it fits the theme, let’s brew some more smoothies ;-)

Hey, fellow retro consoler here, but I picked the Lynx. You did a great job in getting the original feeling. I have to admit I took less care in actually replicating the original hardware restrictions.

Very fun to play, I would suggest to add a gameboy frame to it so that you can play it on your phone, then it is an almost perfect emulation :-)

Awesome! The graphics is top notch! But why did I die only because I wanted to take a walk in the woods… :-( Ok ok, I will focus on brewing and smuggling from now on ;-)

Well done, a very nice and polished game. Maybe I just missed something, but do I have to add water, too? I think I needed it in a recipe where it was not mentioned.

Hmm, it does not seem to work for me or I am too stupid to understand it. I can only click on the field and get more and more fruit, but I did not manage to brew something :-(

Otherwise, it looks very nice and polished. Let me know if I missed something, I would be happy to try it again.

The graphics shader effect is really cool and the game feels very polished, well done!

Great idea and the physics make this very funny at times (but can also turn it into a rage game…)

Some more forgiving controls would really help to increase the fun. Nevertheless, great submission!

Ha, same here, I also stopped at 5. The text is hard to read and for me it what to do with the fruits. The lighting is beautiful!

Very cool controls, it is a very intuitive take on the Asteroids controls and actually very rewarding. I enjoyed it a lot. It feels very repetitive, I constantly expected something to happen that makes the game harder, but in the end I saved all planets :-)

Fun little game. Kind of hypnotic and yes, I also felt the dizzyness. I once clicked on a tree hidden by a mole (which could be a memory like feature) and once probably on a tree just spawning which felt unfair. Maybe the latter can be avoided somehow, e.g. with a spawn animation where only after the spawning, the click actually counts.

Thank you!

Lilli has struck again…

Yeah, some sheep seem to run into mental health issues, probably from constantly being pushed around. However, we talked to Peter and he assured us he just had a bad day! <3

:-D

(1 edit)

Awesome game, well done. I do not even fully understand how it works, but it is soooo satisfying just playing it and listen to the sounds and music!

Cool concept. The tutorial was very helpful to understand the mechanics, otherwise, it is probably hard to understand how it works.

I like simple voice acting, for more variety just use different sounds randomly and vary pitch and tempo on them to get even more variations. I did this in my game with my kids and their friends, they had a lot of fun doing some voice lines and I just added randomness to make it sound funny :-)

A cool take on pool, I could not stop playing until the end. Well done.

Genious idea and well executed. But now my brain hurts… :-)

Yeah, another chaotic sheep game! :-) I love the conecept and it is fun to play. I thought there was no end, too, maybe set challenges on how many sheeps you have to save and measure the success via the time required so that it gets a little more fast paced?

Hey, another shape game :-) Well done, it was a smooth playing experience.

Awesome game! Very unique controls and once you get the hang of it very addicting.
