If I were the soldier in the tank and I were to see those spiders in real life, I would destroy the tank by myself, omg XD

First of all, I'm not sure what was the reason, but for the first 3 tries, my "2" button was not interactive. It didn't respond, so I wasn't able to choose the weapon. Gladly, it worked after I died 3 times. I think there is some kind of a bug...

Second of all, the sounds are pretty nice and fitting separately, but together they didn't go well. I mean, if a lot of spiders are together, the player will hear the sound from each one of them, which was too loud and distracting. Also, the volume for an explosion sound was loud too, I think.

Overall, though, I liked the idea of a game a lot! The game really managed to hold my attention and feel intensity all the time. I would love to see more games/of this game with similar mechanics. Good submission!

Thanks for playing!

We will try look into that button not working, thanks for reporting it. Yea sound is our weak spot and we did not put much time into it.  I know what you mean with both those points.

Thanks for the feedback and we're glad you enjoyed it :)

Cool game! I liked the animation of the enemy's death, but I wish the enemies were a bit smarter. By smarter, I mean being able to move around obstacles, not just heading towards the player.  Also it would've been nice to have a score bar, to keep track of how many enemies you've killed. Other than that, the game was great!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Yup those exact points are on our to-do list when/if we continue with the game :) thanks for the feedback!

Really good game! That was fun (and stressful, in a good way!).

Those creepy little noises when one of these spider-alien-thing is around, tho :s

So cool, I loved the mechanic a lot, a really good fit for the theme as well and a lot of fun! Great job!

This game is really good. The sound is well fit for this game. ...wish there was a separate "radar indicator screen"  where we can see the player and enemy coming but thats just my opinion. Overall, this game is damn good.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback :)

Yea a radar will definitely be the next addition if we continue working on it after the jam

A lot of fun, it's very simple, but it's a great pastime! The art is really cool too, I loved the dirt field with the stones and especially the insects! The alternation between movement and shooting is very good too! The game has no music, but I didn't see it as a negative point, I felt more immersed! Great job!

Thanks for playing, and the kind feedback!

Hahaha thanks!

Yea I always hope someone can learn from it, or even would want to contribute to it

cool game,  hard though, felt that the enemies could have been smaller maybe, or the camera zoomed out more. wasnt much time to stop and face your turret towards a new enemy. But maybe I just need to get good

Developer

It seems common feedback that the game is a bit too difficult, but once you get used to it (and know discover where the extraction point is) it gets easier :) Zoomed out camera would be a great 'system' that once can switch to... maybe after the jam we'll add it :)

Thanks for playing!

Nice game, but pretty hard.

Was annoyed at the lack of mini-map or at least something that gives the idea that you're going in the right direction along with the slowness of the turning of the canon when you can control weapons. Other than that, great concept and was actually really fun trying to outrun the enemies and not get cornered.

Developer

Thanks for playing and providing the feedback!

Yea we did not have time to decide how to implement some way of directing the player. The slowness of the tank turning was intentionally annoying ;)

Glad you had fun :)

Love the concept. Would like to see more of this game! The only thing that was a little frustrating was not knowing where I was supposed to go: a mini-map or goal arrow might be nice. Great submission!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

We had so many ideas to put in the game, and one idea was to make the mini-map/radar one of the systems you can control, but alas we did not have time!

Aside from no Music, the game was really cool. I had this interesting moment where I was going to die and didn't have the time to switch to the gun and aim to save me, but the game made the gun shoot the spider that was about to kill me. It would be really cool if there was a whole game like this. Nice Job!

Thanks for playing! Haha awesome. Sometimes you get lucky with the random control, but sometimes you get unlucky and the tank turns away while you try to shoot!

We might do some more work on it after the jam and see where it goes :)
