Fun little game, the only issues I have with it are 1. Oh so tiny and sometimes hard to pick up the sheep, 2. Being colorblind, it is hard to see color differences especially if it is tiny pieces with color. The music and sound is pretty spot on and that goes for the art style too.
It has been +5 days since I played and I still do the "baah" race countdown sound IRL, from time to time xD
Really solid game! There's honestly not much to say about this one, I think the only problem I had was that it was at times a little difficult reading the colors on the sheep and matching them to the colors of the holes. Maybe if the sheep and the holes were made a bit larger, and the difference between the two greys was made a little bit more distinct. The sound design was great, everything had really nice feedback. For a jam game, I appreciated that it didn't really hard lock you if you "failed" a level, and still allowed you to keep progressing forward if you wanted to. The steady increase in chaos was perfect. Great job!
This game is not for me but it is definitely intuitive and looks pretty polished. Only played a few levels but seems like there is some good progression in terms of things getting more complex and chaotic. Great work!
That was SO FUN!!!!! I found myself yelling at the screen, those damn wolves>:( Felt super smooth and the sound effects were awesome.
thank you so much :D
A fun little game! The tutorial was very well done, I understood what to do immediately and the way the difficulty ramped up felt very natural, it starts off quite simple but got pretty challenging by the last few levels. Those are some very slippery sheep! I also liked the sfx and playful music, I think they fit the vibe of the game very nicely, and the particle effects were a nice touch. Good job!
Surprisingly fun, and surprisingly challenging! The gamefeel on this is great and I played for quite a while. Love the sound design on the sheep and the wolves, it's a great level of polish overall. Lovely entry.
The grey and the blue may be a little too similar, and some of the hitboxes for the fences could be more forgiving.
But the tutorial and game feel was 10/10
Thanks so much for playing and the feedback. Yes agreed, the 2 colors were quite similar and the hitboxes were a bit big, will keep this in mind for future updates :)
Great! Lovely sounds and immediately addictive, good job!
Nice puzzle arcade game. The goal is pretty clear and the challenges are also clear.
Too bad my PC and mouse aren't good enough for this game.
Nice little puzzle game, with very clear goals, and great sheep sounds. I found it a bit confusing how sometimes the order of the combined dots didn't match the order of my sheep, but I figured it out eventually. I especially liked the very clear level progression UI, and the sheep were very cute
I've got your game timestamped in this group of playtesting videos
thanks so much for the playthrough video :) we didnt really have a win or lose screen, but there's a score indicator for each level so you can replay and improve. We should have made it a bit more obvious i think haha. Glad that you liked it and good points of feedback on the colors and wolf- will keep that in mind for future!
The sound made me smile so much - had fun playing this one!
fun concept! and great audio design. My two cents, I love sheep they are so cute it would bring the game experience up for me if I could see the cute lil sheeps as I care for them. Maybe in a post jame update they could be made big and foofy
Thank you so much! Yes we wanted the sheep bigger, will do that in the next update:D
Just so fun. Excellent audio!
Thank you :)
I really like the game, I only found thing frustrating and that was when the sheep walk the other way and flip their colors to face the wrong way, I couldn't always tell which way they are facing and that made it frustrating when It matches but doesn't really.
Yea we struggled with how to solve that issue of sheep flipping around, will try to come up with a solution, thanks for the feedback!
Unfortunately this is very difficult to play if you're color blind and I have the weakest form of it. Sheep are just too small, the red doesn't pop enough against the background and discriminating between light and dark gray is super hard. You already have red fantasy sheep so you really should have picked another fantasy color instead of 2 forms of gray.
The SFX are really cool and the concept is fun but not playable for me.
Thanks for the feedback. Definitely a lesson learned to run the colours through colour blind tests when the game is about matching colours. If we come back to polish the game that will be fixed.
One of my favorites so far from this game jam! I was just mildly disappointed that the game's art style wasn't the drawn one but pixel art, as that one was something different, but the pixel art was well done too.
My only nitpicks are that the sheep and goals are very tiny, and sometimes it seems harder to get a grab on a sheep than it should be.
Props for the sounds being made by a guy instead of some stock sfx :D
Thank you so much! Yes, size of the sheep is something we will definitely look to tweak in future, maybe if we also decide to make the camera moveable.
That's such a fun little game! My only complaint is the fence hitboxes feel a bit to big, oftentimes in trying to quickly drag around them I would clip the corners. I loved the SFX!
Thanks for the feedback - the hitboxes is definitely a common feedback point from most players, so will keep that in mind for future updates! Glad that you liked the sfx :D
Highlight of this game is the SFX! Really charming experience
Thanks so much! Our audio designer stagename spent a lot of time recording those great animal sounds :)
I like the game, plenty of charm, you must have searched very hard for those authentic sheep and wolf SFX ;)
Thank you, yea we auditioned a lot of sheep & wolves :P
