Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you found the difficulty well-calibrated! And completely agree with you on sticking to telling the story wordlessly - if we do take the game further, that's definitely the route we'd want to go down.

Thanks for playing! 😊

Thank you! I think in future I’d remove the “Red Herring” puzzle-elements – not because I want to remove possible alternative solutions (those are awesome!), but people definitely got hung up on some of the non-necessary bits. As a result, a couple of the puzzles were harder than they needed to be and, in my view, less fair to the player. But hey, live and learn.

Appreciate the suggestion for extending the game! We’ve not agreed to take it further yet, but it’s definitely a possibility…

Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed! 😊

Hey, thanks! I’m really glad you enjoyed! The difficulty on that 2nd-last puzzle was maybe too much for a game-jam game, but I’m glad you got that satisfaction from solving it!

Really, really appreciate the playtest! While we did do playtests during the jam (which led to some very necessary improvements), we really wish we'd playtested more. So your video’s been incredibly useful, and already added a couple of things to our “to-do list if we continue to work on the game”.

And sorry you got hit by the music thing. The licences for the two songs do allow us to use them (both commercially and non-commercially), but we didn’t realise they’d get picked up that way by YouTube. In future, we’ll make sure the music is “YouTube-safe”.

As a “thank you” for your video, I’d happily playtest your next game! It might be a bit dependent on my availability, but given how useful it’s been for us, I’m more than happy to reciprocate!

Wow, thanks! Really glad you enjoyed it! We’d have to discuss amongst ourselves about expanding the game into a fuller / commercial version, but it’s definitely a possibility!

Thanks! Completely agree re. the restart button (it was on our to-do list, but never reached top-priority – a mistake on our part). And sorry you got stuck due to dodgy physics – if we work on the game further, I’ll look into how we can minimise the chance of that sort of thing happening.

Thank you so much! This is really motivating to hear! 😊 We’ll have to discuss amongst ourselves before deciding to push towards a full version of the game, but nothing’s off the table...

Thanks! I think this may be a lesson-learned for me: Don’t make puzzles (especially in games of this length) too difficult. Quite a few players are getting stuck on one of the final levels, and missing some moments we’re particularly fond of in the final level.

Absolutely take your point on the enemy follow-behaviour. And sorry you got stuck in some places – as other players have mentioned, we should have added a restart button (this was on our to-do list, but never reached top priority). Beyond that, if we spend more time on the game, I’ll see what I can do to minimise the chances of getting clipped into a “wrong” position.

Thanks for playing!

Hey, thanks for the positive feedback! Hah – we hadn’t intended it as a jumpscare, but maybe we should be pushing for more moments of “visceral reactions” from the players. Not necessarily all jumpscares, though… 😊

Glad you enjoyed!

Ah, gotcha! I did see the prompt, and did press the button, but didn't try holding it down.

We played this as a 2-player, and it's great! I fully encourage folks, if possible, to find someone to play the game with before the voting ends. There's emergent gameplay we weren't expecting. I genuinely believe I'll be playing this with friends even once the jam's completely over.

I'd say the performance was bad throughout. The stutter between levels was definitely a thing, but the audio (and the visuals) juddered a fair amount even during the levels. (If I get time, I'll pop a video on YouTube, and show you what I mean.)

Just to reiterate though - I enjoyed the game!

I enjoyed this. Straight-up fun. I'm not sure I understood what the two plasma-lamp things were there for, but had a blast getting each of my weapons fully upgraded, and started to feel proper ninja avoiding the enemies as I got more into the game.

Short and sweet. I found it intuitive, and finished with about half the time left. I'd happily play more levels of this.

This is fantastic. The graphics, the juice, the gamefeel - all really excellent. To build something like this (including a good AI) in two weeks is an incredible achievement.

Really nice. The graphics are good, and it's definitely self-explanatory. It's also just nice to play as a character who's doing something low-level but genuinely good. Not something that gets done very often in games.

The ending made me laugh.

Truly excellent. Everything from the graphics to the gameplay is simple, elegant, and beautiful.

So charming. Great graphics, but also just really beautiful game loop. Just the right level of challenging. Controls really responsive. Superb little game.

Both endings made me laugh out loud. Good work.

Excellent ending. Excellent ending.

Really cool, and visually impressive for a 2-weeker. Clear objectives, clear controls, and fun movement (something rarely said even about AAA games). My clunker of a laptop struggled with it, but it's visually pretty, really well tutorialised, and satisfying to interact with.

I really enjoyed this! Simple, but satisfying! The controls are nice, clear, and responsive. Everything's clearly signposted (I know what things will / won't kill me). Brill! I only wish there was more!

I really liked the game. Has charm, personality, and really nicely designed art. On top of that, "Interdimensional Elevator Operator" is a fantastic name. And the thumbnail image is gorgeous. 😊

Full on props to the art! I completely understood what the mime was looking for each time - very satisfying.

Really nice. 3D Flappy Bird (but significantly better). Lovely aesthetic / mood as well.

Really cool concept for the controls, and different from anything I've played before. Some indication of power on the jump would be nice (e.g. a gauge showing how far off max-power you are).

Because they're so different from other games, the controls are tough to get your head around, which makes the pace quite slow and even some basic platforming areas quite tough. I'd love to play more of this, but I'd definitely need easier levels to get used to the controls.

Really liked it.

Great! I didn't understand everything in all the stories, but the overall aim became really clear, and the graphics and even when I didn't quite know what advice I was giving, the patients' responses were fun! I absolutely would play a longer version of this. And I will never again eat an apple.

Such an impressive game for a 2-week jam. The art's gorgeous, and while the mechanics are simple, there's something so satisfying about the mouse-controls (and the visual feedback it gives). A real achievement.

Love the art and the music.

Love the art and the music.

Just so fun. Excellent audio!

I really enjoyed this! The music + walk speed going up as you progress is satisfying, and gives a nice, "goofy" feel!
