I really dig that idea - I had a swap through anything on screen but at the time the visual feedback felt unclear so i opted to one swap only. In a future iteration I’m definitely something like yours / others suggestion. Thanks for playing and sharing this feedback.

Thanks for the feedback, I agree 100%. And despite the QoL problems, you getting all the donuts makes me so happy haha.

I think im going to keep working on this. & of course - I’ll share the physics file sometime soon.

Fun + well executed puzzle idea. One thought I had while playing, is it would have been nice to not have to dock the crank from swap / move mode. (still enjoyable, just more of a comfort thing)

great work!

Really fun theme + interesting puzzle. Gets pretty thinky towards the end which I really enjoyed. Early on, I didn't fully understand the effects of roads to the full extent which led to some guess + checking. But that would be easily fixed with more onboarding if you decide to push this further.

Awesome work!

thank you so much! I’m so glad you got all the donuts. I’m definitely thinking about expanding this / thinking about how I could create more varied puzzles that span over multiple rooms.

those wav files can get chunky - but I really did like the music!

Thanks for playing! & sharing this feedback.

Almost (i think all) sounds I ended up doing a bit of mixing with my voice too make it feel fun/make sense in this world. So admittedly, the physics is a place I did get LLM support.  & all the physics functions are packaged in their own file that I'd be happy to share.

I really agree with you on wanting to be able to toggle across multiple entities / trigger chain reactions. & having variable crank speed across them. I am considering pushing this further and would definitely do something like that if i did.

This felt like a UFO 50 game in the sense of it was one simple idea/mechanic executed in a really fun way. This game jam was short, but with more time + love I think this would be a really fun game to try and master.

The trapping mechanic felt satisfying – I do wish my arm stretching was a little bit quicker across long distances (maybe the further out they go they get a little faster). & initially, the grading/validation to beat a level was initially unclear.

fun entry. Great job!

I did not get very far, but among the jam games I have come back and picked this one up the most (no joke I've sat on the couch and gone "i'm going to fire up Square Space" about 4 times this week). The controls never felt bad, just something I had to learn.

My only thought would be (if you want to take this further) some gentler onboarding to teach the player how to construct some shape arrangements.

Michael - you did an awesome job here. I found myself in a flow state from the start all the way through. I wish the ball settled a little bit sooner (mainly because i have so much excitement to take my next shot)

Being able to have a second way to influence/improve your shot was such a clever idea i'd never seen before. Worthy of a full release if you ever want to take this further.

Also the music + sound really helped settle me in / feel at ease while playing this very chill game.

I found this game incredibly nostalgic in all the right ways.
Great use of console + theme. Enjoyed frantically switching to the correct weapon in time to maximize protection/damage.

Agree with Snooty on the cranking comment

Loved the cowbell song and use of swapping. You guys did a great job.

On the first level I had trouble understanding where to swap the cows to –but once I noticed the animation above the grass I was good to go.

Out of curiosity – what led to the game being 200mb? I was wondering if something got bundled into  your source folder that made it's way to the pdx.

Aiming + swapping was really intuitive. Despite demo being short, I immediately got it and had fun. Great work!

I really like that feedback and agree a ton on the finicky selection. If I work on this further I will implement something like that.

I’m so happy you found all the donuts.

Got all the jam games side loaded this mornin’ - excited to play your entry too.

The sound made me smile so much - had fun playing this one!

I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to fight back (I got BEAT bad) despite having trouble with communicating that feedback - the idea of a beat em up rhythm game was a lot of fun to me. nice work working together in pico8 too

I had trouble on trackpad, but still had a good time. Nice work.

Pure hilarious chaos - nice job!

I really really enjoyed the puzzle of moving around once I got the hang of it. At first I thought I wasn't able to play because I was only on a track pad.

My only thought would be to make levels slightly shorter (just for pacing sake)

Fun entry!

Great job on your first jam!

Great job on your first game! I had fun.

I am a simple man. I see a haggle button, I push it.
Super fun - great work.

Loved the style/art direction of this game!

Super fun

I had fun trying to get past level 4 (am so bad at flappy bird)
