Very goofy art style which makes it really fun to get into and funny animations. I think that the player controller felt a little stiff and I agree with other commenters that some coyote time and more forgiving platforms would've been nice.

Not a major point since its a silly game but the chef went into the cheese but also an angry ghost?

Overall pretty fun though! Only took me a few attempts to beat and won first time I made it past the snaking bit (although I would be lying if I said had I died, I probably wouldn't have given it another go due to the aforementioned issues)

Main highlight for me was the art style

Played for 40 minutes and after learning to merge stuff and breaking everything on the map I can´t say I understand the goal of the game.

However, I kept playing because it was satisfying to break things with the rocks, maybe could be better if merges guys didn't break after 1 hit or having to keep picking them up after every hit but it was still a fun toy. It seems like it could be a fun sandbox type game where you expand your area and watch the lil guys just hang out. Art style was very nice and the lil guys are very cute :)

But yeah, if there is an end goal I feel it needs to be better conveyed. I imagine it has something to do with the furnace but I put a lot of things near it and nothing ever happened.

Thanks for playing! You can actually replay the request!! You just need to go to the counter without an item in hand and interact and it'll play it again. But it makes sense to be missed it wasn't sign posted. And the speed is something we would change after seeing reviews, I almost did before the deadline, but ended up not lol. Thanks for the compliments on the art too :)

Really struggled to pick up blocks and assumed the hitbox was just acting weird, but nevertheless I did complete the whole game and the puzzles were actually quite nice to go through! I found myself on a couple levels picturing out how to complete it with what i was given and liked the different tiles like the move and swap.

I think for the controls issue either change it to simply be click to rotate and drag to move, removing the holding which i learned from the comments. (After learning how it worked i did go back in and it felt a lot easier to control) Or perhaps the hand icon on the first levels more clearly holding down for a time before moving as it looks like a simple drag.

But overall I had fun with the puzzles! :)

Wow, that means a lot!! Thank you! Yeah we've heard a lot about that key lmao, definitely wish we noticed that beforehand. The idea was people would see the padlocks and understand that was what the key at the start was for but having it next to a door threw people off which is very understandable. We're glad you had fun! :)

Thank you so much! Happy you had a good time and found it nice and easy to play :)

Visually and narratively this game is great! Love the pixel art and theres a clear goal I want to achieve with a heartwarming ending. But as others have said controls definitely could be better. I think jumping up the trees was difficult and I would've preferred more precise movement and I think if I could add one thing it'd just be some coyote time for jumping off platforms as trying to jump over the gates from the small platforms was quite difficult to do but just in a frustrating way. Overall though I really enjoyed playing it and again looked amazing!!

Thanks for playing and happy you had fun :)

We've both never actually heard of Wilmots warehouse lol so must just be a coincidence!

Could you clarify what you mean about the rendering issues please? To me they look alright and I can't quite see what you mean but they were drawn at higher resolutions so maybe you're seeing something I've not realised lol.

Yeah if it were to be a full commercial game we would defo be looking at adding more characters with different requests who rotate in and out of the shop and you're right about the mime not going to get the stuff himself not fully making sense, but apparently this mime thinks he's too good to be doing it himself! Perhaps some different environments where it makes sense would be fun

Honestly I loved this!! Smashed the self explanatory, really liked the slowed down time for each new ability. The MSPaint art is very cute and charming and really fits the silly vibe of the game, music too. The sfx were fun and goofy and I liked every time a pig showed up and did its little noise lol. Saw the bathrooms in the castle and chuckled because they felt out of place but comedically, then I saw the slime one and all of a sudden everything made sense, the game name, the facial expression... their mission is a noble one. Currently writing this with the ending sound effect on constant loop and i find it hilarious every time it stops and it sounds like its done, it just keeps coming. Amazing game!!!

Thanks for playing and for your feedback! You're right about replaying the actions while holding something. The items were made to come in pairs of similar things but with a distinctive action within the miming that would let you know which one to pick, admittedly the first one is hard to understand but we wanted to avoid the game being too easy by simply being a drink or some food. We did consider speeding the character up but ended up not, can see that was not the right decision in hindsight i think a sprint button would've been nice. But glad you enjoyed the presentation :)

Wow.. manic sure is the word I'd use here lol! I'm happy there was some guns to start to see how the game worked very quickly and for some initial defense. Everything made sense to me just from visuals alone which was very nice and I really enjoyed the fixing and upgrading minigames. Although manically flipping the switches and hitting the computer while I know I'm being attacked elsewhere was stressful,  it really added to the urgency of the situation which was great!! Also the popping sounds were funny :)

Took me multiple attempts to figure out all the controls (was confused why there was buttons on screen that did nothing, I assume they're for mobile) but once I did the adventure was quite fun! I liked the feeling of the boost movement and there was some simple but nice level design. Although I got a star then died, went back to get it and it wasn't there but at the end it said I only got 2 stars. And I enjoyed the fun designs of the enemies which were also effective in letting me know they were dangerous :)

Very unique mechanic which I enjoyed!! I was going to suggest some kind of limitation on spellcasting like mana but I see in other comments there is mana, during my gameplay I never felt as if I ran out at all and could just spam lightning or draw a fire circle over the whole grid. With the wall upgrade I was having issues with it recognising it as fire which almost cost me my game a few times. But overall I enjoyed being a witch and casting spells on those who wish me harm lol and I thought you guys nailed the self explanatory aspect, everything was tutorialised very well!

This game is so cute!! Reminds me of how our cat sleeps on our bed lol. I'm not sure if there's an end or not since it just kept going until it was impossible but I could defo see myself enjoying a longer game of this with more cat shapes and maybe different environments for them to sleep in and give poor granny her needed rest :)

Thanks so much! Glad you could understand each item, hope you were able to find everything just as easily!! He appreciates your work, but might've got upset if you brought him the wrong stuff ;)

I understood the controls and the idea that I'm collecting the things but I didn't really get the overall point, I suppose to get as many as possible. The level where they changed colour was decent having to go off the actual model and not their colour but unfortunately the rest of the levels were the same as the first or just random like the one where they're all boxes and you can't see them at all, not sure how i was supposed to be able to tell and ended up squishing 90% of them. There was also a level where it was just 3 of them standing there and once collected I just stared at the ground for a bit until the level changed which felt pointless. I thought the models were odd in a cute way like little critters, both fun to collect and squish lol and the music and sfx were decent!

I think there's definitely an idea for an interesting mechanic here with the speed increasing as you gain more items. Turns chaotic towards the end which while fun to try an control as you're going so fast, i feel like since you can crash into the little steps of the terrain sometimes it becomes a little frustrating and at that speed it's really hard to pick up what was dropped. I think with some more interesting level design this could be more fun! And maybe some story as to why we're a stone golem cooking a soup lol

Firstly, thanks for playing and enjoying what you could! But I'm sorry you encountered this bug, honestly I'm not sure what it could be since I've never seen anything like that and as far as I know its not happened to anyone else :( do you remember what you were doing when it happened? Maybe I can see if I can replicate it and find the cause

Very short game with a clear goal and a unique artstyle. It felt like there was a lot going on and a tad overwhelming and it ends very abruptly. Also I seemed to die randomly sometimes, think it was because the enemy was behind my camera in front of me and I ran into it not knowing it was there.  I think the game could benefit from more interesting level design with more smaller challenges or maybe a way to counter the enemy

Well I'm really glad you wanted to play it based just off its looks! Thank you very much!! :) Hope you managed well enough to get the good ending!

Very silly and funny game, starts out chill just regular jump on enemy to kill and then all of a sudden "heres a gun go crazy" which was very fun. Something about a tiny chick wreaking havoc just to get home is funny. I also liked the chicks little smug expression as they walk around. Some of the hitboxes and hurtboxes felt too big or unforgiving like my bullets should've hit that bird but I really appreciate the frequent checkpoints so you're not retreading so much which balances out that issue. Really fun!!

This game turned into a bullet hell very quickly and unexpectedly lol but it was fun. Really like all the cute little references in the sprites and the SFX are funny

Thank you!! Glad you liked our concept. Were you able to figure out each request on your first try? :)

Thank you so much!! So glad you had a nice playthrough, hope you found both endings ;)

Cute game and very easy to pick up and understand. First few levels were fun to play through trying to avoid smashing the balls into the breakable objects. While later levels had a fun set up like the billiards, I feel some more interesting design is needed since after the break the switches are all just cramped in a corner and theres no puzzle or challenge. Last level was fun to smash the cars but again,  no puzzle or challenge, feels more like a free play area rather than a level. Like the vibe of the game overall though and think it nailed the self explanatory aspect!!

Probably the best I've played yet!! Really polished final product which is chaotic but enjoyable. Music was great and all the different sound effects added to the fun chaos. Trying to quickly find which button I need to not lose quickly turned into spamming every button as quick as possible which sometimes worked!! Great work!

The artstyle and animations / UI in this game was the highlight for me, liked the bears riding the piñatas. Mechanics were interesting and I quickly got the grasp of hit to go faster but don't hit too much, didn't quite understand the upgrade system though. Really nice!!

Really cute game with good vibes (except those worms D:) Found the artsyle simple but charming and fit the vibe perfectly! Liked the funny ending and how dejected the character looked. The concept is actually very similar to our first idea!

Nice short narrative with simple gameplay. Really liked the dichotomy of the playful toys and the hospital scenes. It goes in the square hole

Happy you enjoyed it, thank you for rating! :)

:D Thank you so much for the nice review!! Glad you enjoyed it, we had a lot of fun integrating the theme into the gameplay

This has a very creative movement mechanic which I really enjoyed. At first I thought I just needed to drag a line from my cow in the direction I wanted to go and thought I'd encountered a bug when my line stayed on screen but then realized how it worked and instantly much preferred it to how I thought it worked! Some interesting challenges in the level design too

Impressive concept for such a short time, unfortunately I think the controls and movement needed some readjusting. I felt very slidey on the platforms and since I could wall run on any wall I found the easiest way was just wall run until the next platform and then stop there instead of engaging in any of the other mechanics which I think for this type of game, the appeal comes from the advanced movement mechanics whereas i felt like I was mainly doing basic platforming. Music wasn't there until I got partway through the parkour as well. Definitely could see this being better with just some more interesting level design and tweaks the the controls!!

Thank you very much!! :D

Cute concept and arstyle. Music fit the theme, felt suited to sneaking around a nabbing veggies. On my 3rd recipe though I needed a veggie that wasn't there and the farmer didn't seem to be replanting anything so I got soft-locked, not all bad though because then i got the idea to just dig up every plot of the farmers land for not providing which was fun!

Highlight of this game is the SFX! Really charming experience

A very charming game! I enjoy making lil trash sandwiches for my racoon clients lol. I find the models cute and the absurdness of putting stuff like fishbones in the sandwich is funny. Took a second to realize they were asking for certain aspects and that each of my objects had an amount of those aspects but once I did notice it very quickly became easy to put together sandwiches

Really nice visual style and cards felt fun to interact with. Took a second to realize what I was doing but simple mechanics to pick up quickly once you know the rules. Felt like trying to match 3 or more cards was quite difficult because the cards take time to flip and waiting too long will lead to someone else taking the pair, so resulted in simply grabbing any pair as soon as which I feel could get repetitive on longer levels. Would be nice to be able to get some bigger combos. But again really liked the style and atmosphere!!

Like others, took a little to figure out what was happening (still unsure on a few things) but overall I liked the fast pace of the rounds, although at a certain point my screen was full of enemies and i only had a few coins to spend each round so no way i was going to win. Art was really nice and like the music and sfx were good too!

Best game we've played so far! Really cool concept with great execution and super polished within the time limit. Music and sounds were a delight, very cute to hear the notes get played successfully. The mood was excellent and the art was good, but would've been interesting to see a more stylized artstyle. Overall very very nice!
