I really loved this game! It was a lot of fun playing around with all the toys and outfits honestly, and the puzzles were difficult but very fair. Having unique animations for each toy was also really nice to see, and definitely added a lot of substance to the game outside of the puzzle sequence.
this is so absurd i love it
i can't believe every combination is animated
i can't believe i couldn't solve the last one JUST because i was high. goddammit. now i kind of want to try it again
edit: oh my god it's because i didn't assume noise travelled through the ceiling/floor, but puzzle 4 comes down to a single ambiguity that's only resolved by that
Sorry for adding a sobriety checkpoint to the last puzzle, I didn’t mean to, honest. That aside I do hope you enjoyed my lil brain teasers.
And yeah, animating every combination is something I knew I wanted to do from the outset, and I was at a point in the last week of the jam where even if I had no puzzles to play, the animations would still be there. (unironically, doing the combinatorial explosion of animations was less of a hair pulling experience than making the puzzles were, mad respect to professional puzzle setters.)
Thank you for playing our game!
This game rules. What a fantastic way to incorporate BDSM preferences into a logic puzzle game. Very satisfying to pore over everyone's quirks trying to find the perfect combination for every pair, and all the little animations made it feel so great when everyone had their needs met!
Honestly BDSM preference was a godsend for designing the puzzles, since instead of having to go “Person likes thing” for all my clues, and ending up with simple elimination puzzles, I get to have “Person likes TYPE of thing”, and having to then figure out which of two or three options they actually end up with opens up much more interesting logic chains to play with.
Thank you for playing our game, and I’m glad you enjoyed the little animations!
I liked this. I did always like this sort of puzzle and I like engineering away an awkward situation. So, uhh, scratched my itch. And when I couldn't concentrate, there were cute cartoon furries having fun.
I *somehow* managed to beat all the levels, really well done game,if I wasn't such a dunce maybe I wouldn't have taken an hour to beat this lmao
only an hour?????? i know i don’t play these games much but it took me 2 hours + some handholding from lanta to do just puzzle 5 lmao
Much needed playtesting though, thank you sweetie~.
Glad you managed to get through the puzzles Valhalla, thank you for playing our game!
Gud game, levels 3-5 were sooooo hard, but it certainly felt nice to beat them.
I love the idea and clean execution! It's very satisfying whenever a solution comes together! Quality of life features like the rules and grid are excellent additions. Completion rewards and unlocking progression are the only things that feel missing to me. The art style is pleasant, and I really like the variety of animation that dynamically adjust to whatever situation the characters have been dragged into. The music fits the mood really well and everything you do has a proper sound effect to match it. A really fun game to experience and puzzle over, very nicely done!
I might add rewards (and maybe progression) down the line, but I just didn’t have any spare outfits I could use as rewards in the gallery lol. On the other hand, maybe it was a better idea for at least the jam having all the stuff available in the gallery for people who maybe don’t like or can’t solve puzzles.
Once the jam is over, I’ll ask Lilla for a bit more help and draw up some stuff as rewards, maybe I’ll have the motivation and energy to make more puzzles too.
Thank you for playing our game, and I’m glad you liked it!
Awesome it reminds me of all the time me and my friends would post our Murdle scores in the wordle channel in our Discord. I could not beat the 1st level i got stumped but its fun type of puzzle to try and solve. I looked at the Gallery and i liked the animations i saw esp the ones with the Viberator. Would be nice with a few easier puzzles to start off with.
LOVE THIS GAME! The music was spectacularly chosen, the puzzles were really delightful to fiddle with until I got it right, the animations were utterly charming, and the style really did it for me. I loved intuiting little internalities within each generated character. The lack of story didn't irk me so much as this game felt perfectly to scale with the jam and I think that anything else would have been shoe-horned in. This is an absolute favorite. The notes menu was very well designed and impressed me at first glance- but honestly I didn't use it! I had the most fun just talking at the screen and trying to remember each character's quirks through experience. I love this!
I love puzzle and I love this game and thank you very very much for the grid notes thingy
It speaks to the quality of the game that i played through despite this being my NEMESIS PUZZLE.
Adorable and sexy art and animations, really solid puzzlecraft. Wonderful all around
A rather solid puzzle game. Loved how many animations you made. One hitch I did run into was the provided solution tracking grid assumes relationships are symmetrical. However, at some point you have a conditional requirement between a restraint item and a sex toy item which breaks that symmetry. Not anything major tbh, but I figured it was worth pointing out. The notes viewer was well done overall. Finally, I'm glad there is a little gallery mode to play with all the animations.
I don’t quite understand what you mean, If you mean the constraints between e.g. candle and standing, those are symmetrical still even if only one side of the condition is stated as a rule.
Either way though, I’m glad that the notes view did end up helping, and I’m happy that you enjoyed the gallery! Thank you for playing our game!
Okay, looking back at the grid, I my mistake. I was tracing down to bed, the across to hypnosis. When, I needed to trace across to bed, then down to hypnosis. I had gotten into the routine of going down the list, then over since it was easier to read. My bad.
This was so nice. I loved the puzzles and the challenge, and enjoyed discovering the untold dynamics between players. Smart concept, very well executed. The free hand gallery was fun to play with as well!
Always interesting to see horny takes on games I'm familiar with, this is a fantastic way of doing that. The puppet animation looks great! Though the puzzles seem a tad buggy. The first level just completed out of nowhere when I swapped two guys, so I had the win screen and a room with two clearly unsatisfied guests. I couldn't for the life of me get the second level though. I don't think there was anything wrong with my placement, it seemed like it should've worked. But the guy just wasn't getting in the bed and I had no idea why (Bottom left room, I don't think it was crowded?).
Some sort of error checking would be a nice add. Like red text in the tooltip saying that X condition is unfulfilled.
Yeah, I do need to try and figure out a way to communicate when constraints are broken, I kinda just ran out of time to figure it out 😅.
For reference though, if the people in the room are sad, it is because any constraint in the room is broken, not specifically on that person, e.g. if the dom doesn’t like relaxed, the sub won’t lay down either. Do note in puzzles 2 and 5, one of the subs is also noisy!
I’m glad you enjoyed the animations! Thank you for playing my game
I love these types of puzzles! The animations worked really well, and were good indicators of if the character's specifications were met. The UI for marking the puzzle grid was a bit small, so I didn't find myself really using it. It would also be nice if after solving a puzzle, you still could hover over so see the character's info in order to see the full solution. As well as having a button that takes the player the next level, instead of needing to go back to the menu after solving a level. Overall, i really enjoyed solving them all.
I made the UI as big as I could without making puzzle 5 overflow off the screen, maybe I could have made it larger for earlier puzzles, but since puzzle 5 has so much information to sift through, it’s the sort of thing where you would likely need the grid regardless, or need to make your own, and I don’t know how to rectify the small size issue for it…
At the end of the puzzle, I just put a block input filter over the screen since dragging is done with area nodes instead of controls, but I think I could replace that with a “disable moment” signal that I just send to every draggable so that hover still works but movement gets prevented. Idk if that’s the sort of change I’m allowed to make in the jam voting period but I’ll definitely toss it into a post jam patch for you!
Thank you for playing, I’m glad you had fun!
This is cute, and surprisingly tough! It was tough to figure out what to do at the start, but after it clicked it was nice.
This made me think so hard!
I loved the integration of the tastes with the kinks.
The mixing of theme with mechanics also was spectacular.
The cute artstyle is fun, and the animations are delightful. While I'm not a big fan of brain teasers and puzzlers like this,it was fun to see it presented in this kind of game, and seemed well executed in a way that was enthusiastically kinky and horny. Ludonarrative resonance and all that. Good game!
