The game looks great, awesome graphics! Cool mechanics, works really well! Maybe it would be good to be able to zoom out the camera a bit when you shoot arrow

really beautiful game and awesome gameplay! teleporting to an arrow was so satisfying and fun.

It would be nice if the camera zoomed out to show the last arrow shot so you know where you are going.

Otherwise great job!

Excellent job! This game looks stunning! I love the art style :) great sound design too, but I would've liked the music volume to be slightly higher maybe.

i really like the mechanic for the game it felt really good, the background looks so good, the only thing missing is that the volume of the music in the background is so low compared to the sound effect

Beautiful game, the background is AMAZING!

I always love this idea of teleporting to the arrow/dagger or whatever, it's very satisfying! Just an idea, if the enemy's health is critical a visual indicator could appear and the player should be able to do a finish move (maybe teleport behind the enemy that has an arrow on it and finish him with a dagger?) hahaha, I just could'nt get this idea out of my head while playing it'd be even more satisfying.

Also, good job with your itch.io page!

One thing I'd point is the jump animation, needs a little work to make it more natural. Besides that I liked it!

my play style for this game is hilarious, I feel like the tutorial should be required! I got to level 3 without using the tutorial and my method was RIDICULOUS LOL- The character was face up shooting arrows an inch from my face and I was ROCKING  those ghost dudes. After I played the tutorial- I learned about the teleport/time warp which was cool too - anyway good stuff.

Good all round effort! The game was well paced and I liked how you introduced harder enemies.

I ended up just falling to the bottom and running left and right as I fired at 30-45° which made it easy as the enemies just kept running into the arrows.

Also, it'd be nice if when slowing down time the shot strength didn't slow down too, instead it took the same time to power up as in normal time. I haven't looked at your code yet but with the Time class I think there are a few options to use "inRealTime" or something that will still work regardless of how much your Time Scale varies from 1.

Great work!

unique idea, with good mechanics, and amazing atmosphere, great work

Very interesting mechanic! I wish the character movement was more snappy. The game is quite hard but I had fun launching myself in the air while shooting ghosts! Good job!

The game is really fun! I love the teleportation aspect and how you can shoot from any direction and mid-air. The first level was a little difficult and I barely managed to pass it, but over all the game is really well thought out.

Really fun game! Floating trough the air and hitting an enemy is really satisfying! I find the enemy hit boxes a bit small, it often seems like the arrows fly trough them I can't really tell where to aim to. Also beams coming trough the floor is OP ^^ Great game!

Love the art, teleportation idea is interesting. I don't seem to be very good at it yet but will try again.

I was wondering why the straight thin white line was there, it didn't seem to have a function with the way the arrows work and was a little distracting.

Developer

Thanks for taking the time to play our game, Marcus!

If you get a chance we'd like to know, "if you could change the trajectory indicator (thin white line) and how it works how would you change it?"

Game very well done, I liked the art and the soundtrack.

The idea of teleportation is very good haha

nice game! Being able to flip through the air really made me feel like a skilled hunter of some kind, and the sound design was very atmospheric. Nice work!

Thanks, KingEthaniel! Our sound designer has only worked on one game with us, so far, but we've been really impressed by her work! I'm sure she would really appreciate hearing the praise, so I'll be sure to pass it along.

More than anything, we wanted to make sure that flipping through the air with the teleportation ability would feel epic for our players. It's really great to hear that vision having been reflected from your feedback.

Thanks for playing! Hope you had fun! :)

The look is amazing and I LOVE that we use an arrow! And that we are Artemis! One suggestion, it's a bit too hard to kill enemies and in the first level, I managed to kill them all but I could still see them :D Still, I think this might be the best game I saw so far in this jam!

Developer

That's a huge compliment for us, Irene! Thank you so much for playing our game.

Others have also mentioned that the game is difficult at first so we're going to address the difficulty curve in an upcoming post-jam updates.

WAS good. could make the bow and arm snap towards the directional aim.

Thanks for the feedback! We'll be sure to implement this idea on the next update :)

I enjoyed this game, beautiful art and interesting gameplay. About the sound - I heard crackling all the time.

Developer

Hey Arseny_Gar, thanks for letting us know about the crackling sound. We're looking into the issue and will fix it on a post-jam update.
