The art on this was so good! Very unique creepy vibe throughout with each character, too. And whoever narrated nailed the creepy voice, too! 😀

Only in this game would one ever purchase a sock for 500 biscuits, put it on the wrong foot, and somehow end up in the hospital because of it. This game was absolutely hilarious and one of my favorite games I've come across here! 😄 I loved the sound effects and the writing! It's pretty ironic how you guys managed to make a game that effectively fit under the theme of "risk it for the biscuit", all the while making myself feel... chill. You'd think a theme like this would bring about more stressful games, but I really liked the way you guys went about this!
Best part of the game was easily putting on the hat and glasses. Playing like that felt impossible! I took everything off of the prize wall and was met with a credits page I actually enjoyed reading haha. My only con about this was that it was so short ☹️ Awesome game guys!
If you get the chance, please feel free to check out our game as well! We'd greatly appreciate any honest feedback. Best of luck in the jam!
This was a pretty unique game! I was really thankful you had a red mark dictating the collision spot because trying to avoid shots around the sprite entirely seemed IMPOSSIBLE for me haha. After a couple of tries, I think this is the best I could come up with. No clue if it's good or not, but it was the best I could do.
I thought the concept of wanting to kill enemies by getting above them, but earning less points the higher you go was an interesting contradiction. I'm honestly still unsure about the best strategy for getting the high score, but that's what kinda got me intrigued about all this 😅 Fun challenge!
If you get the chance, please feel free to check out our game, as well! Thanks!🙏
I played the game for quite a bit! It was really fun.
- It definitely gets creepy and builds anticipation when the monsters are chasing you. I think they were the perfect speed relative to your own.
- I also liked the colors of the enemies relative to the background. Sometimes when you're scanning the room they don't stick out right away, so it makes the player work for it.
- I thought it was really creative to have the "cookie-carrying" sound get louder as you carry more cookies. Not sure if it affects how the monsters respond, but definitely creative.
- The death animation is hilarious.
- The audio of the gargoyles were awesome.
Minor Feedback
Below are some minor bullet points that you may have considered but couldn't put into the game due to 1 week deadline.
- Would've been cool to have a description of what each item does in the shop - even though the names made it seemingly clear. I bought the bag first assuming it would allow to carry more cookies (which it did). When I bought the boots, I didn't FEEL faster. I was assuming that that's what it would do, but didn't see a noticeable difference.
- On my first play through I didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to carry more than 10 cookies and kept going around opening chests that would give +0 cookies - until it dawned on me.
- When I finally opened the 15 cookie door, the game crashed hahaha.
Anyway, was an amazingly polished entry! The way the monsters moved made me want to change how our monsters work in our game a bit.
If you get the chance, please check it out as well! Thanks 🙏
Hey! The game was really fun and addicting.
- I especially felt you did an amazing job with the audio, which was really satisfying when a multiplier card activated or when all of the cards were being "consumed."
- Drawing cards and playing them were simple but enjoyable.
- The extortionist card was especially cool to get rid of the bear traps and sand storm cards.
- As others have said, there are some balancing issues, but the game was still addicting and fun!
This was super satisfying lol.
Awesome game!
If you get the chance, please feel free to take a look at ours 🙏
Hey! Thanks so much for checking out our game.
Really glad you liked the art!
Really appreciate the advice about making the object dropping easier! It’s super valuable for us to know that it feels imperfect or like it has to be placed too precisely (and we totally agree).
We’re looking to fix that up in the next update.
Thanks again 🙏
Makes total sense that there’s corner cutting given 1 week is so short - haha! But the game was really great and felt very polished!
I saw you’re already checking rate for rate threads which is awesome.
Hopefully the cta advice helps! It’s worked for us, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a friendly nudge to also check out your game if you’ve provided genuine feedback and value to other people’s games - which I think you have from looking at your comments.
No need to include the words “cta” in your comments to other people, just a subtle nudge. I only included in mine so you knew what I meant.
You can also check out other people’s comment history by going on their profile link which may help you pick up other tips and tricks! ( no need to write as much as I do, though 😅).
Anyway, sorry for my book and so much unsolicited advice! Just trying to help if anything is valuable there - but I’m sure you guys got it.
Best of luck!
Hey! I'm genuinely surprised more people haven't rated you considering the high quality of your game, and amount of great comments / feedback you've provided others. Maybe have a little CTA at the end of your comments asking others to rate yours as well like my brother and I have been doing?
Regarding your game:
I was really impressed with the polish of this game! It was a lot of fun!
- The art (title screens, UI, and art were all amazing). I really liked the design of the speed boost, since it reminded me of Crash Bandicoot: Warped (motorcycle racing level).
- The audio were all quirky, fun, and fit the game aesthetic very nicely. I do think adding some more powerful audio effects for the elastic start / boost / drift would've made it even better.
- Maybe I'm a masochist, but I found myself trying wayyy to hard to drift and roll when I probably could've done better without it (but we gotta risk it!). I think if the roads were a bit wider, it would've allowed for easier drifting which has a bit of a learning curve (pun intended :D).
- I also liked that the road expanded from one level to the next so that the beginning of the level is new and fresh and then moves into familiar territory.
Overall, really amazing entry. And definitely overlooked considering how good it is! I'll ask my bro to also rate it if possible to see if the community can get you to 20 soon.
CTA :D - If you get the chance, please feel free to rate ours as well 🙏. Best of luck!
Hey! I really enjoyed this game, and played it for quite some time.
I've never played Yahtzee or any of the other games you mentioned on your page, so I don't know how similar this is, but this game seemed very balanced (which is AWESOME). I played for about 40 mins and only obtained the MATCH-5 two times. Both times felt super rewarding and lucky.
I think this jam encompassed the "theme" stronger than any other game I've played, from both the artistic perspective and the gameplay mechanics.
My favorite recipes were the Score Full House and the Score Straight because they allowed for really cheap ingredients (sugar/flour) to bring in a lot of high value.
Minor Feedback
- The game UI was a bit confusing at first and I didn't know what the +DICE and other numbers meant at first. The icon art was EXTREMELY helpful (especially for the full house and score straight, in showing what it does).
- The game felt a bit daunting at first when going through the web page tutorial because there is a lot going on on the screen (at first glance).
Possible Suggestions
1. I loved the game, the art, the audio, and the gameplay loop. Everything was great and even mostly balanced! That said, the main suggestion I'd have for the game is more "juiciness" (a term that sounds kinda gross to me, haha). I linked a cool article about it:
I think if the sound effects were improved, the anticipation built up with each roll, and there was a visual and audible feedback when the player gets a high score, it would feel even better.
That said, I'm sure you guys had more things you wanted to add, but it's hard to do in one week :p
2. It'd be cool if you can leave an ingredient on the table for the next round (especially for situations when additional ingredients won't give you extra points).
Anyway, thanks for also rating our game and wishing you the best of luck on the jam!
Hey! The game was really fun. It's actually the first desktop game that worked on my PC for some reason 🤷
- I liked your usage of the battery draining as "risking it for the biscuit"!
- The character designs were endearing. And I liked the shop choices.
- The shooting when you hold the click feels good in weight even if the aiming was tough.
- I didn't read your itch.io page first, so when I first saw the freakin Gundam I dropped my gears. Lost a few times, but after some upgrades I am now the King of Robots! :D

Minor Feedback
- The audio for when you pick up gears was too high pitched and not so nice in my opinion.
- I saw you mentioned that implementing a crosshair is in your backlog, which I also agree would improve play.
- Would also be cool if the upgraded gun FELT more powerful (i.e. changing the color or size of the projectile).
Great game entry! Was a lot of fun. Best of luck with the jam :)
Hey, Really enjoyed your game!
I'm not going to lie it was a bit difficult to understand, but trying to figure out how it worked was genuinely enjoyable.
- The pixel art was really amazing (as well as your submission page).
- The dialogue was very humorous and the narrative really well done.
- The music definitely fits the aesthetic and chillness of the game.
- The game was incredibly innovative.
Minor Feedback
- It took me quite some time to notice the "deal" price and multiplier hovering above the character's heads. I was a lot more invested in getting their "trait meters" higher. I think the deal price font should pop more or be as noticeable as the meters (some how).
- The "deal" or "no deal" cards took me a bit to understand since I already wasn't paying attention to the "Deal price." It didn't register at first that if we click "no deal" the price would go back to default.
Overall, incredibly creative game! Aesthetic, theme, and audio were all super cohesive. Even if confusing at first - it some how kept me really engaged - like a puzzle to solve.
If you develop it further, I'd love to make the ferret's ears blush again. Great work!!
Alas, a game I shall enjoy in my upcoming mornings with my brew & biscuits. A game which speaks deeper to my soul than any other I have wandered by. Yes, such a concept really does symbolize the days we live. Will it be a slam dunk or a soggy mess? The writing spoke to my soul haha.
The game had me hooked for a while, trying to figure out what length of time was required for the perfect dip. Simple, but still captivating. The only thing I wished for was more clarity on what was required to have a "successful cup", as I got a couple PERFECT scores but still seemed to fail it. Apart from that, fun game and thanks for having shared it! Loved the satirical writing, as well!
If you get the chance, please feel free to review our game and provide any feedback. Thanks! :)
After a couple of attempts, I came so close to winning! Made it to the final wave with the two biscuits. Dodging all those bullets felt impossible though lol. I like the unique mechanic of gaining more of the meter by just barely missing a bullet. Truly risking it for the biscuit :)
If you get the chance, please feel free to review our game and provide any feedback. Thanks!
At first, I was really confused over the game and didn't know how to climb over ledges. It took me quite a while to realize that having two hands on the ledge would allow me to jump much higher, since the tutorial only covered jumping with one hand on a ledge.
But once I understood that, it became really addicting and super fun! Many games I've played with climbing mechanics are so boring and slow, but the climbing here was actually engaging! And it's cool how there is a strategy component involved regarding how one can climb and even the route one can take. This game has a lot of depth! :) I'll be coming back to this one later to try again, cuz I couldn't make it to the top yet haha.
If you get the chance, please feel free to check out our game as well! We'd greatly appreciate any honest feedback.
I normally play very stressful games, but playing this rather peaceful experience was pretty nice! :) I've never heard of Onitama before this, but now I have a new type of game to look into! I liked the concept of having movement be limited to the cards at your disposal, as it would give players the capability of weighing their options based on the cards available on the enemy side. Also thought it was pretty interesting that each player's move has the added consequence of allowing their opponent to use their very own card against them in the upcoming turns ahead.
The only thing that kinda had me confused was at the very beginning where I wasn't sure what I had to click on. It took me a bit for me to realize I had to click on the frogs to choose which one to move.
Apart from that, fun game, overall! :) If you get the chance, please feel free to review our game and provide any feedback, as well!
Wow!! Thanks so much for the super kind words. It really made our day. 🙏
We are strongly considering continuing with this game after the jam if we receive positive feedback - so your comment is much appreciated!
We'll also be checking out your game as soon as we get the chance.
Best of luck in the jam!
Wow! Thanks so much for the kind words 🥹It made us really happy.
I'm glad that it's not SO horror-ish that it would deter you from trying.
Really appreciate the feedback on the difficulty of the game. It's good to hear that it was challenging, but just the right amount of challenging.
We'll definitely check out your game shortly as well :)
Best of luck with the jam!
Hey, thanks so much for the feedback!
We are strongly considering continuing with the game, so we're super appreciative of any and all feedback 🙏🏼. Really appreciate you letting us know about how spammable the slow is, since we want to make sure the game feels balanced.
We fixed our game breaking sound bug and some other minor bugs if you have a chance to check it out again.
Anyway, thanks so much! And best of luck to you with the jam.
Haha, we didn't notice the 48 hours at first, lol 😭
Thanks so much for playing it again and such amazing feedback! We are strongly considering continuing this game and maybe making it commercial - if we get positive feedback from players and think it's worthwhile to pursue.
- Glad you like the hidden snacks/biscuits!
- Picking up the biscuits under furniture only replenishes your magic (mana). So if you're already at 100% magic, there isn't a benefit to picking it up. However, you CAN move furniture around before getting to the magic circle - which can be abused. The long-term idea is to have the player only have 1 minute of preparation before Dusk (shadows spawn).
- We haven't seen unresponsiveness in left-clicking YET, so not sure what happened there. But REALLY appreciate you bringing it up so we can be on the look out (in case it wasn't your mouse).
- Thanks for letting us know about the Telekinesis bug, where you can't put it down!! Haha, that can be abused and we should fix it.
Hey! Found your game in the Brackey's Discord announcement channel :)
It's pretty crazy that your game came out this polished with just 4 days of development and given that you just learned Godot!
- The pixel art and animation is very pretty.
- The music is great and matches the aesthetic of the game very well.
- The fortune cookie / biscuit drop was funny.
Feedback on Minor Bug (Or Feature, haha?)
- Noticed that if you spam the rock magic it stays stuck in one place. Might be because two rocks are stacking on top of each other and the rock stays in place. Nevertheless, acts as a cool shield if an enemy is coming after you.
Great work!
If you get the chance, please feel free to review our game and provide any feedback. Thanks!
Hey!
I'm really glad you enjoyed the gameplay and that the mechanics added to the thrill factor. Good to know that you enjoyed the strategic aspect.
Also, thanks for providing feedback on the audio. I also think its our biggest weakness, and having someone validate it is helpful - haha.
Thanks so much for the kind words. Super appreciative of the feedback!
Best of luck to your team and the game :)
We've been meaning to upload extremely early also because I think it has a few advantages.
I feel if you upload a functional prototype (even if it's crappy) by day one, you can share it with people so they can play test.
Then you can push an updated build to the site every day of the jam. It's a great way of making sure you're not scrambling last second to push your game for the first time and running out of time (which has happened to my team a few times).
Anyway, do you feel posting early this time helped at all or not really?
You should give your voice actor a raise, lol. This game was hilarious. The art for the menu and dramatic dictatorish aesthetic elements were super cool and felt put together.
The spacing of the biscuit checkpoints were well done. Even though the platforming had challenging moments, the biscuit checkpoints kept the pace going up until the last level.
Also, the narrator is wrong. I HAVE ASCENDED. It is NOT an illusion. I am now...
DIE ÜBERMAUS :D
If you get the chance, please feel free to check out our game as well! Would really appreciate any feedback.
Best of luck!
The game art and itch.io page is beautiful!
The game mechanics were also really fun and creative.
- The sirens and pirate ship mini games kept the game fresh.
- The UI was well done and easy to pick up
- The voice acting and audio was very humorous.
Only minor feedback is I would've loved to spend more time sailing. Sometimes, the stop at the next harbor came too soon. The game is already kind of chill so it'd be okay to extend the amount of time at sea feeding the crew biscuits.

If you get the chance, please feel free to check out our game as well! We'd greatly appreciate any honest feedback.
Best of luck in the jam!
Game was super fun! It's like a multi-variable version of black jack.
I loved how many sophisticated upgrades there were to improving the biscuits lol.
The audio effects after you turn the fire knob is very satisfying and the art and music work really well together.
Favorite part was when I foolishly burned my only 4 remaining cookies all at once and lost all my dough.

Amazing job with the game!
If you get the chance, please feel free to take a look at ours. We'd really appreciate any feedback.
Best of luck with the Jam!
This was super fun and calming game. I played it for quite a bit.
It's extremely polished in every way: the pixel art is beautiful and fits perfectly with the music and game mechanics. All very well done!
- I feel like the camera speed is perfect. Slow enough to make it challenging, but fast enough to enjoy the process of lining up the shot while in the brush. It helps that the monsters movement is handled so well.
- The moving monsters, changing day/night, and items swapping at the shop make the game feel fresh.
- The yellow monsters can shoot like Curry and are assholes.
- The green monsters are even bigger assholes.
Love the game!
If you get the chance, please feel free to check out our game and let us know your honest feedback. Thanks!
Of course! It was super fun, and easily one of the best game jam games I played. So great work! Hope you guys continue with it, or create something similar in the future.
And if you or anyone on your team gets a chance, please feel free to check out our game 🫶🏼 We'd love some honest feedback, and we're just a few reviews shy of 20.
Anyway, best of luck on the jam! And if you continue with the game in the future, let me know and I'd love to playtest more.
Game was super fun!!

- Art was super cute, attractive and cohesive. I like the chalk / pencil look. Even your game menus looked great!
- The music matched the game really well and never got tiring despite being on repeat for a while.
- I like that the slot machine coin slot collider is large enough to allow stacking of multiple coins around it, so that you can spam the lever.
- Great additions with the "power-ups"
Minor Feedback
It would be cool if in the tutorial section you showed how to feed biscuit (at least showing to click on the meat). I kid you not, at some point in the game I was rich AF, but my doggie was dying cuz I didn't know how to feed him and thought it was missing from the game.
Played to feed my dog, left with a gambling addiction.

My doggo dying right before I realized he had food. Also would be cool if you could drag the meat to Biscuit's mouth, kind of like how you drag the coins :D

Anyway - Super fun. Excellent work!
Please check out our game if you get the chance 💙
