11/10. Awesome entry: Gorgeous art and map, nice layout, concise writing, fantastic vibe and ideas. Really like the fairytale feeling of this!
Ahh thank you, we appreciate it!!
Outstanding. Completely cohesive and designed to be extremely easy to run. Love the art and each art piece has utility.
thank you so much!!
Really fantastic! Fun adventure premise with a fairytale feel and lots of wonderful artwork!
Ahh thank you!! :) Appreciate the kind words!
wowee that map and cover, I love the npc portraits too. The dream eater is really unsettling too in the best way
Thank you so much!
10/10 —This adventure reminds me of The Legend Of Zelda: The Minish Cap for the Game Boy Advance
The art is fantastic. The layout is easy to follow and spatially efficient. The room descriptions are elegant and evocative. The map and NPC portraits speak loudly without using words
Like the best fairytales, the theme rides the edge between family friendly whimsy and a nightmarish fever dream: the game could run very differently depending if the GM last saw the movie Labyrinth or Nightmare On Elm Street (I would probably binge Infinity Train before running it)
Personally, I struggle to interpret rewritten adventures—but this one reminded me of the old Nintendo players guides. Iâm genuinely excited to run this
Wow thanks so much! Please let us know how it goes if you do run it!
Super cool and quirky adventure! Absolutely love the illustrations and map! The colors are wonderful. Strong fairytale vibes, especially with the mischievous gnomes hiding in the hedges.
If I have to nitpick something, itâs that the typography is quite small for an A5 format. I wouldnât enjoy reading this if printed as an A5. On a screen it really doesnât matter.
Wonderfully quirky adventure. Great stuff!
Thank you so much! Definitely agree, we went a bit too small on the text, would like to possibly rework in the future to add some pages and bump up the text size!
Nice! I would love to see an expanded version!
This rules! I love the artwork, and layout. Although, I wish there was a section to give me some guidelines on how long the PCs have until the King is reduced to a husk and/or a concluding the adventure section.
The idea to have a single effects table is genius, especially in a dream setting. Great stuff!!!
Ohh thats a great idea, would be very fun to add a more timed element to it and maybe incorporate the dream world crumbling around them as the adventure progresses? Thanks for commenting!! <3
:DDDDD
I genuflect. The drawing, design & diagram are deft. The presentation is superior to many professional products. Impressive execution on your ideas. Amazingly adorable.
This is so nice, thank you!!
Superb artwork and cartography. Nicely integrated NPCs bouncing off each other. The gentle whimsy of it is very endearing.
thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoyed reading :)
The incredible art & animation style map really sell the fairy tale vibes of this adventure.
As a 1st published adventure, I hope that this collaborative duo continues making many more great things in the future. Fantastic job!
Aw thank you so much!! We absolutely want to publish more adventures in the future :)
The artwork is amazing; the image of the sleeping king on the cover immediately draws you in and makes you want to know more. The evocative writing and the clear map-and-key system work together perfectly, making the adventure easy for a GM to parse and run. This is a cohesive and incredible piece of work. Bravo on a great submission!
Thank you so much for your kind words!! I'm glad you enjoyed reading!!
This is phenomenal. Great use of space and art (all of which is tops). Dig the folk fantasy vibes. Top notch.
thank you!! <3
INCREDIBLE art and map and everything really. Really tremendous entry!
Thank you so so much!
One of the easiest to imagine setting down into a campaign world with little effort, great job.
Thank you so much!! We definitely wanted to make something that could slot in easily or be a standalone, depending on the groups needs :)
Absolutely stunning. Love the art style, but I wonder if it fits the theme of the Jam. Doesn't matter because it's beautiful and the adventure is whimsical and looks like a ton of fun to play.
Thank you!!
Wow. A Design, Art and writing masterclass. Definitely gona save this, not only for playing it, but to study for further works.
Thank you so much!! If you do run it we would love to know how it goes!
This is the loveliest 4-page adventure I have ever read. And the artwork is absolutely delightful--perfect for this fairytale-style adventure.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed!!
Top notch art including that super detailed map. There's lots of interactivity here that would be very fun to dive in to. The way different NPCs can interact and clash promises some really interesting moments. I really like the magic oysters as a key to the adventure and what it takes to get them.
Thank you so so much! We definitely aimed to make the environment as interactive as possible, also really geeked by the idea of the nixie's attacking if they dont get what they want haha
The art for this adventure is one of my favorite I've seen so far! Fun idea and beautifully executed!
I agree with all the positives in the comments, if I was asked to provide any critical feedback, it would be that the font is too small to read in some places. Of course this is a 4 page dungeon and I know space is tough, but that's literally all the feedback I could think to provide haha. Great job!
Thank you so much!! Yeah, we do need to adjust the font size in some places, its a bit too small :)
Amazing, story, as well as layout. Not only that but when we're talking about nightmares and The Dreaming, i can't not think about Changeling, which i love!!! The art as well i think is really good, congrats!
Ahh thank you so so much!!
